Came home from work, and my roommate hands me my mail. I noticed a strangely colored and labeled mail, so I opened it first. It 's from a law group or agency, stating that I owe the amount they requested in the letter. If they fail to receive the payment requested, they may or may not pursue legal action to recover the debt. And if they do decide to take legal action, the issue will be forwarded to one of their attorneys in my local area. They are accepting payments through a given website and phone number. How they failed to convince me that this is real, is that they require my account number. I 've never been in trouble with the law regarding any persons or business, so I do n't understand how or why I received this letter in the first place.
