I was given this phone number by the phone compant last XX/XX/XXXX. I have been plagued by debt collectors calling,, asking for every XXXX male name in the book. It is unknown if they are all the same collectors, but they ask for a different name each time if I answer the phone. The month of XXXX XXXX, I was gone to XXXX for one month. I run a business on my phone so phone messages are important. Every business day for about 3 weeks the same debt collector at the same number had a machine, call my number, while I was gone and left an unclear message, missing all but the last half of a sentance, but no identification,, etc. I searched that number using caller id on the internet and found that they were debt collectors, then. But, being out of the country I could n't them, and why should I? But, I was worried, just in case I had a problem with a debt that i didn ; t know about. Those people filled my voice mail with their calls. I have XXXX digital phone so I have the computer record. Howverr it was not working well while I was gone, which further made this difficult and worrisome. I did not know what I might have missed, How is it that a debt collector, even if the debt were mine, can do this, with their autodialer machine, harrass me, and never identify themselves or explain the reason for the call??? I returned from my trip last night XXXX XXXX, XXXX. First thing this morning i called that number. The man I talked to is in Arizona. He sounded XXXX. and he is a debt collection agency but would not admit it at first because I refused to give him my name. When I told him that I knew who they are, in fact that he is Apple recovery, he admitted it but simply said I 'm am sorry. This mess caused me time, and grief. if I could I would sue them. In any case, they should be fined for unethical behavior. He admitted, finally, when I gave my first name, that they were not looking for me. or anyone I know, but someone gave them this number. This has got to stop! By the way, I have perfect credit. if someone messes with my good credit I will fight tooth and nail to defend it. I had to do a short sale 3 years ago and I am very protective of my credit.So,, this is very distressing to have this while I am in XXXX and can do nothing about it.

This company had been taking money out of a joint account I had. I noticed back in XX/XX/XXXX that payments were being taking out. Finally I re searched who the call company was and it was loan me which they had taken out about 3500 dollars in money out of my account stating that a XXXX dollar loan had been taken out under my name. I then explained to them that I had no knowledge of such loan they neeeded to send me information in regards to whom took this loan out. I requested this information about 3-4 times but they never mailed nor emailed the information to me. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from a collection agency Apple recovery stating they were attempting to collect a debt from Loan me in the amount of XXXX. I proceeded to explain to the gentleman the situation and he put me on hold and stated that they are willing to settle for XXXX so that it can clear my credit and I then can file a civil case against them. I explained to him I wasnt going to pay anything until they provided me with proof of the loan as requested in the past. He then became aggressive and stated I was throwing a temper tantrum and they will start a legal action against me .... I asked him to elaborate on what he meant legal action and he replied Im gon na only ask you one last time how much can you pay today? If cant answer that. We will have to proceed with further action. I am not sure what he meant. I extremely worried about this and would like a resolution. Could someone call me for help in regards to this matter.

On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I was contacted at work at XXXX from a debt collector rep named XXXX from Apple Recovery LLC. He did ask to verify my information before proceeding forward. I then told him about a minute and a half into the conversation to not call me at work again and during my work hours. Also to send me a validation of debt to my home address and I will contact him when I receive it. I verified my address.
On XXXX XXXX 2015 around XXXX I was contacted once again from XXXX XXXX Apple Recovery LLC . I told him to not call again and I already told him before not to call at work. He stated he did not recall that conversation and wanted to speak with me so I can verify my home address.
I contacted Apple Recovery LLC, explained my complaint and spoke to a supervisor. He stated they do not have my business phone number on file.
I have a recorded phone call conversation when I told the rep to not call back.

I originally took out a loan for less than {$6000.00}. I unfortunately defaulted on the loan due to medical reasons. Even though I tried to explain my situation and continued to make partial payments. I ended up using a debt settlement company to help resolve the account. Because the debt settlement company I was using provided false claim as far as resolving the debt. A settlement letter was at least sent to XXXX. XXXX was aware multiple times of the financial hardship and my efforts to resolve the case. Now my account has been turned over to a collection agency and the amount owing is {$21000.00}! They stated that the loan is still accusing interest at the original high interest rate even though the account was bought by a third party.

I was contacted back in XX/XX/2016 by Apple recovery of XXXX, Arizona, they stated I owed {$23000.00} from a XXXX loan. I advised to them that XXXX/XXXX whom are now under investigation and being sued, frozed the funds put in my account from XXXX and then ultimately took the the {$23000.00} as well as my funds of approx. {$18000.00}. I was called by Apple repeatedly and sometimes even 4 to 5 times in a row to make a payment plan. So I did, I paid approx. {$410.00} dollars to Apple and requested a printout. I find out The debt was charged-off and XXXX/XXXX were in a multi class action lawsuit for the same thing they did to me, they did to XXXX of others.

On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email message from XXXX, XXXX with the subject line of " Pre-Legal Account Notification ''. The email was in reference to a debt that had already been settled and paid in XX/XX/XXXX. The email stated that I owed {$5800.00} on a repossessed XXXX XXXX XXXX. This debt was paid by a check from my bank on XX/XX/XXXX in the agreeded upon settlement amount of {$4800.00} to Apple Recovery LLC. The same day I received a text message from XXXX XXXX stating that they had purchased my debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX and included a file number. I replied " STOP '' to prevent further text messages.

I do not know the person they keep trying to contact. I had this phone number for at least 7 years and I have never know any XXXX XXXX whom they are trying to contact. I did talk to the person who keeps calling and advised them that I am not XXXX XXXX, I do not know who he is or how to contact him. I was advised that they will take my phone number off their list but I continue to receive their calls ( for about a year now )

Apple Recovery continues to call our number, trying to collect a debt that is not ours for a person we have never heard of. Their initial response to our complaint was to ask us to call a non-toll free number to remove our telephone number, and that they do not have a record of our SSN. They should have been provided with our phone number already and should have no trouble removing it, but they have not.

I became a XXXX US XXXX i had XXXX insurance years ago on this old closed account and was told my insurance paid what they could and account was closed and charged off, now i get at all hours of the day and night threatening calls from Apple Recovery XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX, XXXX, AZ XXXX phone # XXXX calls of threats, intimidation and this has caused considerable distress and fear.

I was contacted by phone at my work place on XXXX/XXXX/XX/XX/2015 by AppleRecovery attempting to collect on debt I do not owe. The call was very threatening in nature, and I was told this debt was not covered under my bankruptcy.
