I was supposed to close on a house with AMKO LENDIMG. At the last minute just 2 business days before closing they reach out asking for bank statements from a gift donor, they ask for tax transcripts and they want a letter conforming that I was receiving section 8. But they want to count section 8 as an income even though it will not continue after I close on the home. They are ficuring me through all these hoops. Now we are several days past our anticipated closing and there is no type of update in sight. I am highly upset. I am XXXX and so is my XXXX XXXX XXXX son and we probably will be homeless. I am so stressed out. I can't buy food because I can't use my credit cards or money in the bank because it is for my cash to close. I am so stressed out and no one from AMKO Lending can give me straight answer. The XXXX and the processor do it even commicaye with each other. After going under contract I found out my real estate agent and XXXX are brother and sister. I did not know this prior to completing the application. I was told that this did not have to be disclosed because they are step brother and step sister. I feel this deal is totally unfair and I feel that I am being scammed.
