I have cosined my cosin for rental apartment as of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX with 12 month lease ended on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. He committed to pay his rent for the whole period, for unreasonable rental increase he was late to pay his XXXX XXXX rent on time and after he tries to give them the check the refused it and send him attorney eviction notice.
As of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I have visited them with new comer to get rental apartment and paid XXXX dollars as primary deposit, but this person changed his mind.
Hardly they gave me the {$150.00}, but next day they open this collection against me for the amount of {$3900.00}.
When I called the collection office the lady told me that you are still liable for month to month lease while there is no agreement has issued between them and my cosin, and she also told me they tried to reach my cosin 9 times with no respond.
He called her today and asked her to remove the collection from my side while that is illegal action for the life time contract and start reschedule payment with him, but she still want keep it on mine.
