On XXXX XXXX XXXX I initiated a bill payment at a XXXX I have been to before several times for the same service. XXXX is not the problem here. But they have a bill payment service that runs through CheckFreePay, w hich is a payment system used by other stores like XXXX . My issue is with CheckFreePay losing my money and delaying payment. As a customer using the CheckFreePay service at such large department stores that offer it, you can pay a small fee ( {$1.00} ) t o send a bill and pay it with debit, which I did. I used a prepaid XXXX debit card ending in XXXX which was charged {$500.00} ( I can see its transaction history online ) and I paid a bill to my equity line in the amount of {$490.00} ( $ XXXX $ XXXX {$500.00} ). The payee is XXXX XXXX , which is in the store 's bill payment system, and the XXXX XXXX clerk was familiar with this transaction as I had done it several times before this year. I was given a receipt after the clerk was successful in entering all information, including my XXXX account number, which ends in XXXX , from my supplied bill. The payment never reached XXXX and I had to pay them another way to be on time for the statement ending in mid XXXX . I called XXXX and they told me to try callin g CheckFreePay at XXXX XXXX XXXX . On XXXX XXXX , the CS rep acknowledged that at the end of XXXX , the company experienced a serious system failure and could not be sure when payments would be sent or the problem fixed. I waited and on XXXX XXXX I called XXXX to find the payment still had not been sent and so I called CheckFreePay again. I went through menus telling of the issues for XXXX and got through to a rep each time I called, but once I told them what I was trying to get fixed, they said they had to put me through to another department. As though there were some sort of planned scam going on, once I was transferred, all calls suddenly got routed to totally different companies! It was as if each rep was sending me away. For the first three times I tried calling in about my issue, I was put through to XXXX , the software company, which is completely unrelated to CheckFreePay, and a rep there was even telling me how this was happening all day! Finally I did get someone at CheckFreePay that was willing and able to keep me on hold while dialing a supervisor. That person eventually came on to tell me that the payment was in fact sent XXXX XXXX . These payments usually go through electronically and I can see them on the receiving end in a matter of days. XXXX said they did not have the funds. So where is it? Even if they mailed a paper check it should have been received by now. The supervisor I spoke to gave me ID # XXXX . I have no idea where my money is and am asking for {$490.00} to make it to my XXXX account right away. If this is not done quickly there will be interest penalties or late charges. I have the supplied XXXX receipt with Reference # XXXX .

On XX/XX/XXXX, I entered my local XXXX XXXX # XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MD XXXX to send cash through XXXX to pay the XXXX XXXX. I purchased a XXXX cash transfer for {$5700.00} ( one for {$5000.00} and the other for {$700.00} ). I received a XXXX receipts for the transactions ( attached ). I then called the XXXX XXXX to verify the receipt of the funds. XXXX confirmed the funds were not received. I called XXXX to verify transfer of the funds. I was told by XXXX that the reference number on the receipt did not belong to XXXX. I went back to the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to inquire about my transaction and discovered that the XXXX Associate had completed a Checkfree Pay transaction instead of my requested XXXX transaction. The associate called checkfree pay and was told that XXXX would receive the funds on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX and was told that no payments were made to my account, and again told they do not recognize checkfree pay as an authorized form of payment. On the same day I did a conference call between XXXX and checkfree pay during which the XXXX representative informed checkfreepay that no monies were received and that he never heard of them. After hanging up the checkfree rep informs me that he will start an investigation ticket that will take up to 14 days. On XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX again to check on the payment and told again no payments have been posted. On a second call the same day XXXX asked that I get a tracking number for the transaction so that they can trace the funds. I called checkfree again for the tracking number and told that they do not use tracking numbers, just the reference number found on the XXXX receipt. I told him that all electronic money transactions can be traced after which he gave a trace number XXXX XXXX XXXX,. I called XXXX and gave them the trace number. XXXX has promised to get back to me by tomorrow XX/XX/XXXX to update me on their investigation. XXXX and Checkfree both claim 24 hour transfer of funds and it is now 6 days later and {$5700.00} is in black space. I am without my vehicle to go to work and I am accumulating fees for non-payment. I have spoken to managers in the XXXX corporate headquarters on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX without return of my funds. I have been in contact with checkfree everyday from XX/XX/XXXX -XX/XX/XXXX ( except Sat and Sun ). Checkfree Pay continues to tell me that XXXX accepts payment from them all the time and that they receive calls from XXXX on a daily basis to verify payment, which completely contradicts what XXXX says.

When XXXX XXXX closed my account ( account # ending with XXXX ) in XX/XX/XXXX, they decided to return the overpayment amount of my credit card of {$1200.00} electronically back to CheckFree Pay/Fiserv instead of sending me a refund check on XX/XX/XXXX. CheckFree Pay/Fiserv advised XXXX XXXX that I would be required to return to the location where I originally made the overpayment ( XXXX ) in XX/XX/XXXX to collect my refund and provided the trace number XXXX. But when I went back to the original payment location ( XXXX ) to collect my refund, none of the XXXX representative ( including the manager ) recognized the trace number and told me to contact CheckFree Pay/Fiserv. On XX/XX/XXXX, I then contacted CheckFree Pay/Fiserv External Customer Service Department at XXXX to address this issue and even confirmed with XXXX Customer Service Department about the refund of {$1200.00} as per CheckFree Pay/Fiserv protocol. On XX/XX/XXXX, I followed up with CheckFree Pay/Fiserv and escalated this issue to their Internal Department ( ticket # XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I followed up again with CheckFree Pay Customer Service Manager and was told that they still have no resolution as they were unable to locate my refund. On XX/XX/XXXX, I followed up again with CheckFree Pay/Fiserv Customer Service Manager and was told the same thing. I even tried to contact XXXX XXXX Solutions Department representative ( XXXX ) but he never returned my calls. It has been over 3 months since XXXX refunded my overpayment of {$1200.00} and neither XXXX nor CheckFree Pay/Fiserv can locate my money and that is why Im filing this complaint. Essentially, my money is now caught in a limbo between XXXX who claimed that they already refunded my money to CheckFree Pay/Fiserv but provided a bogus trace number that neither CheckFree Pay/Fiserv nor XXXX ( payment agent ) can recognize and CheckFree Pay/Fiserv who is unable to locate my refund in the first place.

I had made a payment to my credit card account with XXXX from XXXX using a service called XXXX. I made this payment of {$490.00} on XXXX and it has still not reached my bank. The payment ref # was : XXXX I called XXXX ( number XXXX ) on XXXX ( talked to agent XXXX ), she opened an investigation with Ref # : XXXX. He conference called XXXX bank and confirmed that they didnt receive the payment. I had called XXXX pay multiple times to follow up with no response ( they kept telling me that they have sent the payment ). On XXXX, I called XXXX ( # XXXX ) again, asked for a supervisor. XXXX assisted me, we had a XXXX way call with me ( XXXX ), XXXX ( XXXX supervisor ) and XXXX ( XXXX back office supervisor incharge of bill payments ). XXXX and I had sent forms to XXXX ( payment adjustment request form along with supporting docs, payment receipt, my credit statement etc ) and XXXX never responded back. On XXXX, I called XXXX pay again and spoke to XXXX. XXXX mentioned that XXXX internal team has still not responded to her, he sent then another email. She called XXXX on a XXXX way call, XXXX ( phone # : XXXX ) Agent XXXX ID : XXXX and XXXX did confirm that XXXX did not recieve the payment of {$490.00} anytime since XXXX. XXXX was going to send him an email to investigate this payment

I used the bill payment service offered by XXXX in XXXX to make payments to my credit card account at XXXX ( the receipts and details for those transactions are below ). Later, XXXX issued a partial refund of one of those payments back to XXXX. XXXX received {$410.00} on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX, with the ACH trade ID number of XXXX. The document enclosed shows that ACH transfer and includes the ACH trace ID number. I have contacted XXXX multiple times about this refund and they refuse to even investigate it without me providing the XXXX account number that this refund was processed to ; however, I do not know this number and I can not obtain it. XXXX will not provide the XXXX account number because I am not the owner of that account - XXXX is. XXXX can confirm the transaction for {$410.00} using the trace ID number, date, and amount that I provided, verify that transaction, and refund those amounts to me. They have not responded to multiple requests for this. Here are the original reference numbers for the payments I made to XXXX using XXXX : reference number - XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - {$4900.00} reference number - XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - {$4900.00} I am also attaching my receipts for these payments.

A friend transferred money to me using Popmoney. First, the email notifying me of he transfer was not marked as coming from Popmoney so I did not see it looking for Popmoney as the transferor had identified it. After a thorough search of my emails I found it XXXX days later. When I tried to collect my funds, the website was nearly impossible to use. First, when they sent my an email that was supposed to contain a PIN number, the email did not include it. I was wise enough to try a second time and only on the second try did the email contain the PIN number. Next, they needed my birth date but the only way to select my birth date was to click a back arrow through 65 years at XXXX month per click..When I finally reached the point where I could attempt to deposit the funds, the menu to select the destination account listed the account but it was not clickable. Finally I called Popmoney and was informed that their mobile website has not been working properly and I would have to go to a non-mobile device to complete the deposit. Fortunately, I am a wealthy individual who has both mobile and non-mobile device so I was able to complete the transaction.

On XXXX XXXX, 2017 I requested a transfer of funds from my checking account at XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is normal activity for the past 6 years to transfer money electronically to my family members for various reasons. The company that handles the transfer is Popmoney owned by XXXX. The money was withdrawn from my account on XXXX XXXX. It was held for XXXX or 7 days. When I called XXXX I was told by XXXX XXXX that they XXXX had been advised by Popmoney that the money was being held by The US Federal Reserve. I called the Fed. XXXX and spoke to XXXX. He told me the FR was not holding any money. The XXXX refused to give me any information about the company that handled this service offered to members by them. I looked it all up on line. This company has no authority to hold my money for any reason. Their only role is to transfer the money between accounts as requested. They should be fined. I do not see a phone number for them. I made a bill pay at XXXX in XXXX using " XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX with the NEXT DAY delivery 1st billpay was to XXXX XXXX XXXX ending with the last XXXX digits XXXX - amount of {$1900.00} 2nd billpay was to XXXX XXXX XXXX ending with the last XXXX digits XXXX - amount of {$1900.00} None of the payments were delivered. I paid for the next day delivery, should have be delivered by XXXX / XXXX / XXXX - almost {$4000.00} and my XXXX XXXX XXXX were not paid at all!!!! I have called XXXX on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX , XXXX / XXXX / XXXX and XXXX / XXXX / XXXX and they keep saying they have problems with their system and they do n't know how long it takes to have the money received by XXXX . Received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, referencing case ID XXXX stating " your Popmoney service has been suspended '' ... It shows a number to contact : XXXX ... '' to avoid cancellation of your Popmoney service account ''. I do NOT have a pop money account. I used pop money in around XXXX or XXXX once or twice but never after that. When I used pop money it was to receive money from a person who was subleasing my apartment at the time. Letter states I will be " unable to use your Popmoney account until you contact us ''. Letter states that for prompt reactivation I can contact the number I mentioned above or I can submit a certified check or money order payable to " Payment Processing Center '' at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX. At the bottom of the letter : " POPMONEY RETURNED TRANSACTIONS ... Recipient XXXX XXXX Amount {$99.00} Payment date {$99.00} Reason returned : Account Frozen '' I do not know a XXXX XXXX, have not attempted to pay this person, and I do not have an active pop money account.

XX/XX/2018. Went to a currency exchange and paid cash of {$1700.00} to be credited into my mortgage account, the currency exchange used the check free company to processed my money. The money never got to the mortgage company and I have called the company several times to resolve it to no avail.
