The manager will not talk to me about emails and payment confirmation, only wants my credit card info. hangs up if i talk about anything else. In XX/XX/XXXX i started a payment plan with American credit financial because i forgot to pay back one of my pay day loans, Complete mistake on my part so i owned up to it and they said it will be $ 600+ to resolve this, They said if i don't make payments then they will serve me at my house or place of work and see me in court and the fees went from an original {$200.00} payday loan to {$3000.00} in fees for court and lawyer i guess. I agreed to make payments because the payday loan totally slipped my mind. They called my today saying we should not have to hunt you down to make payment i can only help you as much as YOU want to be helped. With that being said she told me i made a payment plan in XX/XX/XXXXand it was declined for XX/XX/XXXXand XX/XX/XXXX and now its late this month so they sent it back to their department where they will serve me this afternoon. The manager was the most rude female i have ever talked to in my life i have never been treated like this or talked to on the phone, i can guarantee you their phone calls are not recorded because if they were she would be fired immediately. I explained to her i have no problem what so ever making this payment that i have a card for her when i get home in 15 minutes, but i wanted to clarify that i id get emails and confirmations of payments for XX/XX/XXXXand XX/XX/XXXXand i wanted to go over that with her so we were both on the same page and so we can both understand the balance i have left and i can write it in my notes and email. I said i will be home in 15 minutes are you able to look at the other payments and my account so you can see that i did email you guys trying to make payment and gave you my phone number and they never responded i have 3 different emails trying to contact them. She literally told me i do not care we have had to hunt you down and i shouldn't have to do that do you have a card ready for me or not, i said yes i will be home in 10 minutes now i just want to understand whats going on with payment and the balance and she hung up on me, i called back and she said look if you don't have a card for me do not call back. i called again she proceeded to tell me she shouldn't have to contact me about payment and its my responsibility to contact them, i proceeded to tell her i did contact you guys 3 different times trying to get a hold of them, she literally is acting like a professional arguer she did not want to help me at all she seriously wanted to argue with me over who is right and wrong and all i wanted to do is understand account balance since i am making a payment and you are telling me i did not make payment for the other months as well when i have email confirmation stating i did make those payments, so out of my concern of not getting scammed i called back and wanted to try and talk one last time and see if i could get someone different, i said we obviously are not on the same page please transfer me to someone different she said no can do i am the manager it will not go higher than me, so if she is the manager why cant she talk to me about my account balance and whats going on with it? I have never been so appalled over a companies actions, The lady obviously wouldn't give me her name and threatened to have someone serve me at my house since i didn't want to give her my credit card information, when i said to her plenty of time i do not mind making this payment can we please talk about the emails and account balance first then i will make payment. On theXX/XX/XXXX i emailed the guy who told me it was no problem changing credit cards just email me then when it gets closer and we will change that for you, i did and they acted like i never did because they were not willing to read the emails, why did one person say its no problem contact us we will resolve that issue and then the manager says we had to hunt you down you didn't contact us or anything just give me your card, i did contact you i did do my due diligence, you are just having a bad day lady.

After taking out a loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX , they offered numerous times to let me make payments. But every time I tried to arrange them, they said their system was down. When the payment was due they charged the full amount to my account, causing NSF charges until I could n't even get my account balanced let alone pay the full loan amount. When I could n't pay, they sent the account to American Credit Financial who called threatening fraud charges if I did n't give them my bank information. I gave them the information and signed a contract saying I would make 4 payments. According to this contract they would provide me an official copy of the contract for my records and notifications before each payment was charged to my card. None of this was ever received -- they did n't even acknowledge that they 'd gotten the contract, but on XXXX XXXX I was charged and received a receipt for the payment. On XXXX XXXX , I realized I would n't have the money for my next payment, so I called but no one was in. I called first thing Monday morning asking if I could make arrangements for it to come out on XXXX XXXX . They verified my card number again and told me it was set up. I also received an email that morning saying my payment could n't be processed ( which shows they were capable of contacting me even though they failed to do so most of the time ). The XXXX payment was never taken, nor did they contact me again, so I figured there was a delay on their end because the money was there. When the XXXX payment also failed to come out, I tried calling and only got voice mail again. So, I contacted a lawyer who instructed me to direct further contact through him. Since I could n't get anything except a voicemail box, I sent an email telling them that I had n't received any of their reminders and my la st two payme nts had n't been processed. I indicated that I had a lawyer who would discuss arrangements with them ( si nce my contacting them directly obviously had n't helped ). I did n't hear anything else until XXXX XXXX when they again left a voicemail threatening legal action due to my refusal to make payments. We called and they said I gave them an invalid card. Finally I gave them my card number again -- which they acknowledged was the same on file -- and he said he 'd run it right then to prove it was invalid. To his obvious surprise it came back valid. Yet he still tried to blame me for not making payments. Since I could n't get anywhere I told him he should talk to my lawyer, but he said I 'd I did n't pay the 'd fil e lawsuits that would cost more than I owed. I told him that I 'd pay it all off on XXXX XXXX because I 'd have the full amount just to not deal with them again. But he continued with the runaround until I was too furious to see straight. Finally I was escalated to a supervisor who again tried to imply it was my fault until she pulled up my record and acknowledged that everything should have been done after my call on XXXX XXXX . She said she 'd tell XXXX XXXX XXXX of my intent to pay in full on XXXX XXXX . But I insisted that she also include in that conversation that it was their fault the payments had not been taken out. She said it was n't her company 's fault, but it was XXXX XXXX XXXX 's fault the payment was n't processed. I do n't understand how that could be the case when it 's clearly her company 's name on the contract. I told her again that I would be making the payment and that afterward I would be taking action regarding their handling of my case. She insisted again that it was n't ther fault, but when I started reading from the contract, she finally agreed to take the payment and tell them that the missed payments were not my fault. I 'm not confident that any of this will happen, but that 's what I 'm left with right now.

I was contacted by phone with a blocked phone number twice on XXXX 2016 at XXXX & XXXX by a woman who would not give me her name or any info about her other than it was her job to contact people to have them call XXXX about a very serious legal matter and I must call them right now. I did not respond due to the call coming from a blocked number and she would not give me any more information. At XXXX I received a call from the number she told me to call XXXX which I did not answer. At XXXX an I received a second call from that same number which I answered. the woman asked if I was blank blank and I said yes who are you. She replied she was a legal debt collector and she had a warrant for my arrest on charges of check fraud. I told her I had no idea of what she was talking about. She stated I took out a payday loan with XXXX in the amount of {$1700.00} dollars with the intent to defraud the bank out of the money and if I did not repay that amount right now I would be arrested today and have to pay a court ordered amount of over XXXX because of attorney and court fees. Then she said I needed to make the payment now or go to jail. I told her I do n't know who that payday company is and I never got a loan from them.. She stated the name of the creditor could of changed since they have been trying to find me for years and never got a hold of me and they just took over this account from another creditor. I told her I need to know who it is the are saying I owe and how much was the original amount of the loan they claim I owe. If they gave me the information and I could verify I owe money to a payday loan company I would have to make arrangements to repay the loan with monthly payments of XXXX to a XXXX dollars a month. She said pay it all today or go to jail. I told her I do n't have any money right now and I am not going to pay on a loan from a company I know I never dealt with. She said they know where I worked and where I live and she did not want me to go to jail today so if I could pay {$500.00} dollars today on a prepaid visa card she would stop my arrest and give me a few more days to pay off the balance. I told her again I have no money and do n't owe the money. She said she would give me 24 hours to get a pre paid visa for {$500.00} dollars or she would have the judge have me pay the {$3000.00} dollars and I would go to jail. I told her to get back to me in 24 hours and I would work on what to do.. She said she would call me tomorrow for the money.. END of the discussion 46 minutes. I then called the Indiana government consumer protection line and I was told this is a scam they do it all the time. They have no power to arrest me and they want a prepaid visa because the money is not traceable. They told me not to answer any more calls from them. They did send me a email to pay the full amount of XXXX or I have 3 days to dispute this debt in writing to their office or they will assume the debt to be valid. They did call me today at XXXX XXXX/XXXX/2016 I did answer and I told her I know its a scam and do NOT call me again. She said have a photo ID on you, your going to jail today and you will pay {$3000.00} dollars. I hung up on her.

I filed a report with CFPB after Americans Credit Financial threatened a lawsuit claiming I was committing fraud by not paying when they had my card number and were supposed to be taking out monthly payments and failed to do so. They finally ran the card number on file in XXXX after repeatedly claiming it was invalid and found that it was valid just like I 'd been telling them. I told them I would be able to pay the entire debt on XXXX XXXX and instructed them to take out the full amount because I was beyond frustrated dealing with the constant level of XXXX they were causing by not handling the case professionally. Because I still did n't trust them to actually take the money, or make any kind of record indicating that my card number had been valid the whole time, I filed the first complaint with CFPB. Which brings me to this complaint. XXXX XXXX came and went with no payment or communication. The following business day came and went with no payment or communication. So my husband called on XXXX XXXX because he was off work and told them to take the payment. They said they could n't because it had gone to legal and that was it. So I had to take a break at work to call and tell them they needed to let me pay off my balance. They said it was no longer in their hands and hung up on me. So I called back and said this is the reason I have a problem with your company, you say you 're going to take my payment and do n't. She said it was my fault because I 'd gone and filed complaints against their company and if I wanted to pay off my debt I 'd have to " figure it out '' myself just like I 'd figured out how to " contact the blogs. '' I assume by blog she meant CFPB. I said if you hade done your job I would n't have complained. She said I should have called them. So, was I supposed to trust them to do their job or keep calling to make sure -- because those XXXX things to me seem contradictory, and they seemed to expect me to take them at their word every time they said they 'd do something -- like take a payment even though they 'd failed to do that for months. I 'm working multiple jobs to get back on my feet. I already deal with constant XXXX and XXXX on a daily basis and to add this company to the mix has been XXXX for months and I just want the debt paid and this over with. I 'm so beyond my tipping point I ca n't breathe. When they gave me the runaround before agreeing to my final payment last week, I was tempted to sue because of their treatment of my account, and their actions causing the threading voicemail left on my husband 's phone. Not because I do n't want to pay, but because of the insane level of XXXX I 've had since we began dealing with them. I called in XXXX to address what had happened with my payment and they failed to do what they said. I really do n't want to bother with further action because I do n't have the time, money, or energy to continue dealing with this, but every time I turn around, it 's even more ridiculous.

I 've already filed XXXX wo complaints because this company continues lie about my account and give me the run around. Y es, I had insufficient funds to make the XXXX XXXX , payment so it was declined and I called that day to make arrangements for a payment on XXXX XXXX . I have the email regarding the decline on XXXX XXXX , but the payment that was supposed to be made on XXXX XXXX was never charged or declined by my bank. The money was there. And I was not notified of such a decline. Nor did I receive a statement in XXXX indicating that there had been any kind of decline or what would be taken out for XXXX or what I owed. I sent an email, since my phone calls were not going through as I work during the day -- and assuming that this email has to be monitored because it 's where they requested that I send my signed contract, they would have seen that I had not been receiving my statements and did n't know why they were not charging my payments. Still nothing. Until XXXX XXXX , I had not heard a single thing from this company by phone, email, or mail. Obviously they have my mailing address because it appears on my decline email, and obviously I could get emails from them, because I have this decline email, but I never received another thing from them after I made arrangements on XXXX XXXX . And yes, I told the rep to shut up, because I was sick and tired of getting this kind of run around and being fed these lies. One of the managers admitted to my husband that this was the company 's fault, and given that I have every right to have filed a complaint. I had received NOTHING -- no responses, NOTHING -- after my call on XXXX XXXX .

They, American Credit Financial & XXXX XXXX XXXX, are acting in a very threatening way as the voicemail indicated they would attempt to serve me at my job & home. They refuse to advise if I was simply listed as a reference or if I am responsible for a debt. Please help because I can not make the debtor call when they clearly do not want to.

I do not recognize the debt the collection agency is attempting to say that I owe. The dates they are saying I owe is incorrect and I did not take out a loan with the company they're saying I did. I have requested on XX/XX/2019 that they provide written proof of the debt, then again on XX/XX/2019. One of their representatives reached out to my father and stated that if I did not take care of the debt a bench warrant will be issued and I will be arrested. The representatives I have dealt with leave verbally abusive voicemails stating they are coming to my job to serve me, have yelled " XXXX XXXX will you give me your email!? ", etc. I have requested several times via phone and email that they provide proof of this debt and they refuse yet they continue to contact me. On XX/XX/2019 I received 8 back to back calls from one of their representatives,, I could not answer because I was at work. When I hit " ignore '' the individual proceeded to leave a voicemail and call right back numerous times putting my job at jeopardy.

I have had repeated calls about a debt I owed. They have called several of my family members telling them I have XXXX fraud charges being filed against me and I needed to call to get my court date. I called them and asked them to send me some information and that I was n't going to pay them until I could validate the debt. They said I had to pay that day or they would file civil charges against me for fraud. The next day the " legal courier '' called me to let me know that she had an order in her office to file charges. I told her I did know about this debt and that in past 4 years they have never sent me any paperwork saying I owed a debt. She told me to call back and get the paper work I needed. All they calls were made with a no caller id on my phone.

I was contacted by a " courier service '' telling me they needed to serve me with papers for check fraud and other offenses. Also contacted 2 of my family members and told them I put them down as references, which I did not. When I called back they sent me to Amercian credit financial LLC. They told me the only option I had was to pay them in full or a {$300.00} down payment and {$100.00} a pay check or I would be arrested. I mistakenly set up a payment arangement, but all of the paper work they have sent me doesnt seem legit.

I'm getting a phone call once a month, that talks about processing papers.
