Legal Department, I am a victim of identity-theft. I am writing to request that you block all the following fraudulent accounts in my files with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. This information does not relate to any transactions I made. I did not authorize anyone to use my personal information. I hereby exercise my legal rights enacted by Congress and The Federal Trade Commission, which explicitly states when a victim files an affidavit it shall be honored by all credit bureaus and all fraudulent information must be blocked within 4 days and proper notification shall be given to all furnishers pursuant to section 605b of The Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Failure to comply shall lead to complaints being filed with The XXXX XXXX XXXX, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Attorney General with legal action of your companys unlawful collection practices, misrepresentation of reporting inaccurate debts, and noncompliance to adhere to laws enacted to help who are victims of identity-theft. I request that an extend fraud alert be placed in my file explaining that fraudulent applications may be submitted in my name. Do not extend credit without first contacting me personally and verifying all applications. Furthermore, as victim of identity-theft I received notification that my personal information was compromise in the several different data breaches. It has made it difficult to resolve this matter in a timely fashion. I have made several attempts to resolve this. If action is not taken to properly assist me with this matter within 15 days. I shall file a class action lawsuit for violating the FCRA and FDCPA violations are as follows not limited to reporting inaccurate information, reporting information that resulted from crime ( s ) and/or crime ( s ) of identity-theft, unlawfully collections of debt, calling after designated hours by law, defamation of character, and misrepresentation of true credit worthiness. I ask that all fraudulent information listed below be removed without question. I have fraudulent accounts, employers, misspellings of my name, and address that are associated with crimes that were committed against me. Once deleting all fraudulent information, you acknowledge that it is indeed fraudulent and resulted from crimes of identity-theft. By doing so you adhere to the FCRA that make it unlawful of any, some, or all information to be transferred, sold to another collection agency or reinserted one 's credit report once it is deemed as fraudulent. You also understand in order to reinsert information to a consumers credit report notification must be given 5 days prior to reinsertion. Failure to comply will also be a violation of the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practice. The below-listed accounts by the Original Creditors, who have reported these accounts within my credit reports, were not opened by me. I also did not give my authorization for anyone else to open these accounts. Someone else of who did these that I did not know. Policy states. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C 1681 ), Procedure In Case of Disputed Accuracy. ( a ) Reinvestigation ( 1 ) Reinvestigation ( a ) In general. Subject to Subsection ( f ), if the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in a consumers file at a consumer agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly, or indirectly through a reseller, of a such dispute, free of charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph ( 5 ), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer or reseller. Therefore, my position is being clearly stated, these accounts do not belong to me, meaning that you are reporting inaccurate account information within my credit file. The fact that these are inaccurate account information means that you, this credit-reporting agency, are reporting incorrect accounts. Finally, you are reporting the INQUIRIES that are the result of the same type of fraudulent activities. It must be noted that I did not apply for credit accounts with the below-listed companies and creditors, some of these are the result of attempts to open accounts, but the companies did not approve the accounts. Therefore, these inquiries must be deleted from within my credit file. You can not delete the fraudulently opened accounts without also deleting the fraudulent inquiries. It should be noted that an inquiry that was not made by me is not a factual record, just as a fraudulently opened account is not a factual record and not referred to the creditor to be disputed directly with them. The credit reporting agencies have attempted to address an inquiry as a factual record of file access, but if it was done through fraudulent means, it is not a factual record. As a consumer I should not be required to dispute each fraudulent inquiry directly with each company. These inquiries are the result of fraudulent activity and therefore, inaccurate in which the credit reporting agencies or the creditors can not verify, meaning that these inquiries are unverifiable information and must be deleted from out go my credit files. 1. AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT bal. {$150.00} I am well aware of my rights as a consumer. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that you, the credit-reporting agency report accurate and/or correct account information within my credit file. My XXXX child was born XX/XX/XXXX. He spent 8 days in the XXXX and died from XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. My XXXX child was born XX/XX/XXXX. He spent almost one month in the XXXX. My XXXX child was born XX/XX/XXXX. She spent almost seven weeks in the XXXX and I ended up in the XXXX after giving birth due to a XXXX XXXX XXXX Each of these incidents resulted in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sending me multiple different bills, and ACEI sending me very few notices of debt to bills that had not been paid and transferred to them. To get clarity on what bills still needed to be paid in XXXX, I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. They notified me that several of these bills from me and these XXXX different children had been transferred to ACEI. I was surprised to learn that there were any outstanding bills from my medical care or the medical care of my first two children, as I had not received any notice from ACEI of any medical debt owed them for myself or my first XXXX children from XXXX and XXXX. I spent two hours on the phone with a very helpful service representative from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX where she looked up all of my children 's and my individual outstanding bills that had been sent to ACEI for collection. She and I walked through each invoice and she marked them all as paid and told me this information would be sent over to ACEI and that they would also need to mark my debt with them as resolved and report the resolution of that debt to the CRAs. I called ACEI within a week of paying XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX trying to see if they had in fact received this information and if it was resolved. I was initially told I had no debt with them. Then I was told on the same call that that was not right and I actually had a ton of debt with them. I was transferred to multiple representatives and finally landed with compliance. From the beginning, the compliance manager was unempathetic to me even when I told her I was just trying to gather information, pay them for any outstanding bills, and resolve any lingering problems with my credit. I explained our unique and traumatic medical situation. There was no sense of humanity, only a sense of annoyance that I was creating extra work for her and complaints about how many invoices I had and how convoluted their system was for communicating with the original creditor, the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. According to ACEI 's representative, my information is sent over from XXXX XXXX Physicians on a hand-updated excel spreadsheet by email, and then ACEI has to go in and update all the invoices by hand. I called ACEI again yesterday. I also spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX yesterday. They have remained helpful, forthcoming, and happy to confirm the information about my account and medical debt. They confirmed again yesterday that they had processed my payments on XX/XX/XXXX, that they had processed payments for all the outstanding medical debt I had with them, and that they had sent over notice of all these payments/resolutions to ACEI on XX/XX/XXXX. When I spoke to ACEI yesterday, I was cut off more than once, told how horrible and slow XXXX XXXX XXXX is, told that they had not received the information on the XXXX but on the XXXX, and told that they refused to give me ANY reasonable prediction of timeframe for when they will process on their end that my outstanding medical bills had been paid. I asked if they would be willing to have a call with me AND XXXX XXXX XXXX and the compliance manager for ACEI did not respond to this request or agree to doing a three-way call. She basically said she did not care about the circumstances that led to my medical debt or that I was trying to resolve the medical debt once and for all. She said ACEI had no obligation to give me ANY sense of when I could expect resolution. She was rude and hung up on me when I said I would file a complaint with the CFPB if she refused to allow me to speak to anyone else or even provide me with the information I was requesting : WHAT debt I still owed them and WHEN I could expect to have clarity on what bills they had marked as resolved and HOW they would communicate with me which debt had been resolved and which debt was still owed ( if any ). I am just trying to get information regarding whether they have processed that XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX had marked my medical bills and resolved and how I can pay ACEI for any outstanding debt.

CFPB closed, without proper review, the CFPB closed complaint ID : XXXX, improperly, as the issue has not been resolved. I am responding to the following statements made by the company : As this consumer has repeatedly been told, there is not now, nor has there previously been, a collection fee associated with this debt. An employee of the original creditor, at one point, mistakenly assumed and so informed the consumer, a fee had been added, since that is generally their practice to pass the cost of collection onto the patient. That issue was clarified in our most recent response to the consumer after he filed a follow-up dispute with our office. It is pertinent to note the MD Attorney General 's Health Advocacy Unit found no evidence of wrong-doing on our part or on the part of the original creditor. The balance in full of {XXXX}, that does NOT include any collection fee, remains validly due and owing by the consumer. There has been no violation of applicable law in our handling of this matter. My response responds to the above statement : First, the State of Maryland did not find that the company did not do anything wrong, as it is not the Health Advocacys responsibility to reach that determination. Furthermore, the States Health Advocacy Unit does not have the authority to refer to or enforce federal or state consumer protection laws ; therefore, the companys statement is false. Second, the original creditor ( XXXX ) made the alleged misstatement in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, ACEI knew that there were allegations of violation of the FDCPA ; yet somehow, the statement was not retracted or corrected between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. The original creditors employee ( XXXX ), who suddenly can ascertain that the amount was NOT to be a collection fee, was on the original email dated XX/XX/XXXX. This employee did not attempt to correct these alleged misstatements, as ACEI would have you believe the employees statements were. Yet, once ACEI received a written request for debt validation under the FDCPA, the original creditor ( XXXX XXXX suddenly defined {XXXX} as a provider reversal. Further, ACEI knew in XX/XX/XXXX, via the State of Maryland Attorney Generals Office, that at least {XXXX} was in dispute as a XXXX employee stated that this amount was for an assessed collection fee. ACEI falsely communicated to the State of Maryland that the amount was not an assessed collection fee, despite evidence contrary. Next, XXXX XXXX XXXX whose statements ACEI relies on to ascertain that the amount was not ever a collection fee, was copied on XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and made no attempt to correct any statement. Furthermore, XXXX XXXX XXXX specifically stated that XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, was copied on her email and had awareness. Therefore, the allegation that ACEI is knowingly violating the FCRA and FDCPA remains. It is XXXX responsibility to ensure that any statements made by its employees are accurate and complete, not the patient. ACEIs responsibility is to ensure that any debt collected is valid, correct, and without confusion, which clearly, conflicting statements are a source of confusion. Therefore, I ask CFPB carefully look at all information for this case, which I believe, will show that ACEI either improperly reported to the three major credit bureaus in XX/XX/XXXX information that it had not verified before reporting, or ACEI has advised XXXX that imposing a collection fee would violate the FDCPA, which has resulted in XXXX sudden change of tone. Finally, ACEI has failed to provide an agreement to permit XXXX to reverse any provider adjustments. ACEI has provided a signed document dated EIGHT days after the original debt was incurred ; therefore, the additional {XXXX} violates the FDCPA regardless, as no signed agreement is dated BEFORE the service date ( XX/XX/XXXX ). This signed waiver is NOT the controlling instrument, and it would behoove ACEI to carefully review state and XXXX rulings on contracts or agreements that control certain activities. Therefore, The issue remains unresolved, and the allegations of violation of the FDCPA and FCRA remain.

This incident involves three companies : American Collections Enterprise , Inc. XXXX " ACEI '' ), XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( " XXXX '' ), and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( " XXXX '' ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I was in an accident where a XXXX insured driver, XXXX XXXX XXXX, was at fault. XXXX claim number is XXXX. XXXX paid for my car to be fixed and I was given a car by XXXX to use while my vehicle was in the shop. After returning the rental car when my vehicle was fixed, XXXX was billed for the amount of {$470.00} for the 16 days the rental car was in use. XXXX decided to only pay {$290.00} for what they estimated should be the price for a rental car. XXXX only billed XXXX and I never received nor heard anything again after dropping the rental car off from XXXX nor XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that a derogatory account showed up on my credit report. The derogatory account was for a collection agency, ACEI. After investigating with ACEI on what this was for, I found out that this was for the XXXX leasing for the accident that XXXX was supposed to cover. ACEI sent me the paper work they had on file. That was the first time I saw the bill to XXXX for {$470.00}. A person at XXXX noted on the bill that they only received {$290.00} from XXXX. There was renter information on the bill for myself but all of my contact information was wrong, but it was billed to XXXX 's address for for XXXX to pay. XXXX should have taken care of this since it was their insured driver at fault. I contacted XXXX to inform them that their bill was showing up on my credit report and asked why they didn't pay this bill and how to resolve the issue. They argued that they didn't owe the full amount because it exceeded the estimated 10 days to fix my vehicle. I told them that it was out of my control on how long it took to fix my vehicle and the rental car bill included weekends as well. They realized that they had made a mistake and thought the bill was for 16 business days instead of the actual 11. They agreed to pay XXXX an additional {$140.00}. I contacted XXXX to make sure that they received the additional payment. They did receive the {$140.00} from XXXX, but an outstanding amount of {$120.00} remained on the bill because of derogatory fees. I contacted XXXX again to explain that there was still a balance on the bill. They refused to pay it because they don't pay derogatory fees. I thought this was ridiculous because these are derogatory fees for their bill they ignored. This is a bill to XXXX that was never billed to me and is now showing on my credit report. I contacted ACEI and asked if they would drop the derogatory fees since my renter information was wrong on the bill, I was never contacted by XXXX nor XXXX, and I was not at fault for not receiving a bill that wasn't actually billed to me. They agreed to wave those fees but an amount of {$44.00} remained. By this time, I could not deal anymore with this matter considering the amount of time I had spent trying to fix this. I payed the remaining {$44.00} even though this was billed to XXXX and they should be the one 's to pay this amount. I never thought I would be in an accident where I was not at fault and have to fight so much with the other driver 's insurance agency. If XXXX is doing this to me, they are doing this to many people. If I was billed for a rental car, I would have paid it. XXXX was billed for this rental car. They should have paid their bill!

On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX CFPB XXXX, which was subsequently turned over to the Federal Trade Commission-FTC, complaint # XXXX. The complaint was based on the fact that American Collections, called my residence several times and requested my social security number and my address over the phone. I refused to provide the information and in turn requested that they provide me with written debt validation as required by the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act XXXX FDCPA XXXX. After repeated requests to the collection agency to provide written debt validation, I filed the complaint with CFPB. When I did n't hear anything else from the company after filing a complaint with CFPB and did n't receive the validation required by FDCPA, I believed they were a SCAM, because no legitimate company would ask you for your social security number over the phone. It was not until I ran my credit in XX/XX/XXXX, that I realized that this company had placed a collection account on my credit report for some type of medical bill. Upon learning of the collections on my credit files, I contacted the credit bureaus in XX/XX/XXXX to dispute the account. After a thorough investigation, the credit bureau deleted the account from my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX, because the debt collector failed to validate the debt when contacted by the credit bureau. At this time, I am submitting another complaint against American Collection based on the Prohibition of Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Act or Practices in the Collection of Consumer Debts. On XX/XX/XXXX American Collections appear to be threatening to start this harassing cycle all over again. They began calling my house again, but to this day have never sent any written verification of this debt. I have gone through the proper process of disputing this file and getting it removed from my credit report and they continue with the abusive collection processes of asking consumers for the social security number and other pertinent information over the phone. These illegal tactics have jeopardized my ability to attain an acceptable credit rating after XXXX years of flawless credit. In addition to filing this complaint, I have mailed ( return receipt XXXX a letter to the creditor asking them to mark any submission to the credit bureaus or other parties as disputed. In my previous complaint, I was told by CFPB that you could n't send my complaint to the company because they had not been registered by CFPB and that my complaint had been forwarded to the FTC and entered into the XXXX. At this time, I am asking CFPB to register American Collection to ensure proper handling and adherence to consumer protection policies and procedures. I am also asking that CFPB and/or FTC contact the company and required that they stop harassing me and to remove any derogatory markings from my credit files. In addition, I am asking that CFPB take the necessary actions with FTC to investigate American Collection for violations of FDCPA and UDAAP.

I was send to collections because of two unpaid medical bills I received a while back. I received the bill late because the post office was slow due to the pandemic and also they sent it to the wrong address. These medical bills was paid. I had XXXX in 2020 and had received more than one medical bill. Hospital, doctors, surgery and so on ... once I received the bill in question, I thought it was part of the other ones. I ended up paying it but they sent me to collections and my scores decreased by XXXX points. They have two different accounts on my reports with the same amounts of {$130.00} totaling {$260.00}. I need these removed from al three credit reporting agencies. I work for the Government and can not have a low score. I never had any collections in the past and my scores was over XXXX. Now it dropped down to XXXX. Also with the CaresAct collections are not allowed to report negative accounts due to the pandemic. Read below!!! Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ( CARES Act ) to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The CARES Act places important requirements on companies that furnish information to consumer reporting agencies about consumers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bureau previously issued a statement informing lenders they must comply with the credit reporting requirements of the CARES Act. Today, the Bureau released FAQs that will help ensure that consumers receive the credit reporting protections required by the CARES Act. The FAQs address the credit reporting requirements of the CARES Act, including considerations for furnishers when reporting consumers as current as required by the CARES Act. The FAQs also clarify that reporting that a consumer is affected by a natural or declared disaster is not a substitute for complying with the CARES Act credit reporting requirements. In addition, the FAQs address the Bureaus guidance that provides temporary and targeted flexibility in the event CRAs or the furnisher experience challenges as a result of the pandemic in investigating consumer disputes. All CRAs and furnishers remain responsible for conducting reasonable investigations of consumer disputes in a timely fashion. The Bureaus statement makes clear that the Bureau expects CRAs and furnishers to make good faith efforts to investigate disputes as quickly as possible.

Amercican Collections Inc has repeatedly been harassing and intimidating when I have interacted on the phone with them. The manager whom I was transferred to after speaking with XXXX, threatened to call the doctor 's office I owe a debt to and tell the doctor 's office that I am not cooperating with the terms of the payment agreement. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was told as long as I pay the debt prior to the last day of the month, my account will not change. I sent a partial payment using my bill pay in XX/XX/XXXX and was waiting until I saw the payment post to my bank account to pay the difference. On the day the company received the partial payment, on XX/XX/XXXX, they called me and were telling me contradicting information regarding whether or not me giving them money to pay my debt was a problem. I started this payment agreement in XX/XX/XXXX and paid in XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX is not even over and they are threatening that they will have the doctor 's office collect the original amount. When they called on XX/XX/XXXX, I had already been planning on calling them to use my credit card after I saw the check post to my account, as I had done the previous month. Had they called me simply to ask me to pay the difference for XX/XX/XXXX instead of trying to berate me and pressure me, I would have paid right then. Instead they behaved discourteously. They kept using the word, " generous '' to describe the benevolence of the doctor 's office and I strongly feel the language they were using was meant to belittle me and to intimidate me and to make me feel guilt and shame, despite that I am paying this debt. They are behaving very badly while I am paying this debt. I do not deserve to be harassed and threatened because I am paying a debt. They have lied and misrepresented the information regarding the payment of debts. Also, my husband called ACEI after I called him at work and I was very distressed. When he called ACEI, he spoke with XXXX, who transferred him to the same manager. She disclosed sensitive personal information regarding the debt. She told him who the debt was from, how much it was and all information regarding the debt. To my knowledge, sharing that information is illegal and against confidentiality practices. They did not have my consent or confirm that he was my husband before sharing my personal information.

She told him who the debt was from, how much it was and all information regarding the debt. To my knowledge, sharing that information is illegal and against confidentiality practices. They did not have my consent or confirm that he was my husband before sharing my personal information.

I, XXXX XXXX believes in the credit reporting system as the most important element to the success of the commercial banking system. I am also a proponent of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) as a tool to streamline issues on credit reports that may be dragging down my overall scores. Accordingly, I address each particular issue directly with the creditor in question, before submitting any complaint to the credit bureaus if necessary. Therefore, I desire the following reinvestigation as follows : 1 ) On accounts where late payments are posted, I respectfully request a review of the past payment history and to ascertain if certain payments could actually have been posted late because of an overlap on the 30-days grace period. I realize that this may happen on occasion, and I request only a summary review internally, and do not require any documentation. 2 ) On any account that falls within the 84-month negative reporting timeline, I respectfully request either the deletion of the account if said account was closed, or the elimination of the prior payment if the account it is still active, this is well within the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) guidelines pertaining to obsolete information. 3 ) Any collections must be proved if either a direct collection and/or debt purchase. In either event I request that a true original copy of right to pursue collection be established with each respective credit reporting agency, and if a debt purchase the guidelines proving transfer of ownership must be submitted to all credit bureaus as well as me personally to validate ownership and the right to collect. I am well within my rights requesting proper documentation as administered through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ), in addition to the even stricter guidelines enforced by the office of attorney general in my state of domicile. I respectfully request each investigation to be reported to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX within a reasonable time period, hopefully 30-days. I realize that the current Covid-19 crisis could cause delays, so the best efforts of each financial institution and collection agency will be appreciated under the current circumstances. XXXX XXXX

In XXXX, I was dealing with one person, a guy. I told him my situation and asked if I can settle. He said he will check and came back and said no so I have to pay the full amount. I explained my situation again and told him that I am unable to pay the whole amount at this time at which point he got out of control screaming at me and threatening that he will mark me as refusal to pay just before he hung up on me. Around the beginning of XXXX, I started talking to a new lady, XXXX I believe who is always on the edge of aggression and i made a payment with her. On XX/XX/XXXX she called again asking for a second payment in one month. And I told her, if there was a possibility of settling so I can pay the full amount. At this point I was tired of dealing with them in general and their abusive tone. She got mad and screaming, I asked if I can speak with the manager. The manager, XXXX started speaking to me very calmly and I was relived, till I started explaining my self and told her and her response, " well go get a job and pay this ''. All I was asking was, would it be possible for me to send a letter to the creditor explaining my situation to see if they would decrease the amount in at least a {$100.00}. She criticized me, told me how stupid my life decisions was, threatened that she has been doing this for 32 years and that I would see this on my credit report every time I apply for something. and at last Hanged up on me! The fact that the manager is the rudest of all, shows why the rest of the employees are rude too. They are a complete headache and literally affect my health every time I speak with them. It has been the main cause of my anxiety this days. Due to my health issue, I had to deal with different debt collectors who were more than understanding of my situation and what I went through. I paid off debts that are more than double the amount of this fully and this is the last and smallest debt left in my credit report yet the one driving me to another health crisis. All I wanted was to see if I would be able to send a letter to XXXX in XXXX through them and asking for a little lower payment. but what did I get, screaming, abuse and judgment.

I want to file a complaint against this collection agency XXXX American Collections Enterprise Inc XXXX I requested a debt validation because these accounts just appeared on my credit report without any written notice to me or how I can dispute the debt or seek verification after five day of our initial contact, which is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act section 809. They also stated to me that they were not the original creditor. Furthermore ; I do not think that I owe these debts. I spoke to XXXX XXXX who was very rude and would not provide me with the information that I requested over the phone, pertaining to which XXXX accounts numbers were listed on my credit reports, she said there was XXXX accounts that I had with them and all XXXX was on my credit report, which is not true. XX/XX/XXXX I go into emergency room. I settle bills with most people except this one. I apply for financial aid since the hospital is a non profit. After months of me submitting emails and calls to fair oaks emergency physician I thought my debt was cleared. This is after they " reviewed '' my financial aid application which they would push off for months at a time while still sending me notices of the bill and threatening to send to collection services. I kept calling about this and they said they wouldn't and finally in XXXX I resolved my bill with them and it showed up as XXXX on my balance in their website. A few days later on XX/XX/XXXX they send me a statement of my account which clearly shows my balance at XXXX and it seems like everything is resolved. Around XXXX I get a letter from American Collections Enterprise ( dated as XX/XX/XXXX ) saying I have until XX/XX/XXXX to dispute the claim. So I called them on XX/XX/XXXX and no one answered. I called them the next day and spoke to someone who told me an email to send my dispute with the statement from the hospital that says XXXX on it. I then check my account with the hospital to see if it still says XXXX to also send as proof as it being cleared but they removed the statement online that says it, and reverted it back to the old balance from a statement from XXXX. I called yesterday on XX/XX/XXXX to see if there was any update with my dispute and they gave me a managers number to call who was not there that day. I called the managers number today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and I hear the automated attendant but as soon as it finishes it says the number is not in service, which did not happen yesterday. So I called ACEI 's main phone number and hear the automated attendant and the same thing happens, it says the number is not in service. I do not know if they blocked me but I just want to remove this bill since I already had it resolved but now they won't answer me, and the hospital has removed the statement saying I owed XXXX ( I still have the paper statement that says I owe XXXX ).

I just recently became a new Permanent Resident of USA for the very first time and was granted my Permanent Resident Status as of XX/XX/XXXX. I received my SSN Card in the mail 2 weeks after I arrived in the country which was again XX/XX/XXXX. The Issue date on my SSN is dated for XX/XX/XXXX, along with my Permanent Resident card that also confirms and states " Resident Since XX/XX/XXXX which is XX/XX/XXXX. That being said to my surprise I noticed a new Collection Account on my Credit Report that was placed on XX/XX/XXXX, for {$630.00} to XXXX XXXX, with the original creditor being XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and indicating the Open Date of this collection account is dated for XX/XX/XXXX. That being said seeing how I was only granted my Permanent Resident on XX/XX/XXXX and arrived to this country on XX/XX/XXXX. It is impossible that I was in the country last year XXXX. That being said. I tried contacting both the Collection Account and the Original Creditor ; the hospital and to my surprise, The name on the original Collection Account has an incorrect name to be mine. Along with an address that was indicated on the account for last year XXXX, which I never lived at. After several going back and forth with both the collection account and the original creditor, I was able to get the account number associated to this collection account it being ; XXXX. That being said I tried several attempts at speaking with XXXX XXXX XXXX Physicians Billing and the Collection Account American Collections and in ALL attempts I have not been helped in having this issue resolved. I also did want to mention that this collection account is also replicated on my XXXX, XXXX and XXXX on both my XXXX and XXXX. Please see the attached documents I have provided one of which includes my Permanent Resident Card that I received from XXXX which clearly indicates what I mentioned previously, Resident Since XX/XX/XXXX, which is XX/XX/XXXX.

XX/XX/XXXX - Received a short ring then an immediate voicemail from XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX. The voicemail made a mention of a debt collection so i immediately attempted to call back and find out what occurred. I believe the company identified theirselves as XXXX. I called and said i was seeking to find out what is going on, and was immediately directed to provided my social security number. I refused since i had not been given any information about the debt, nor had any idea who or what i could possibly owe for since we pay all of our debts. The person on the phone refused to provide information and said she needed my information to tell me about the debt, i said that's ok, but i am not going to give any of my personal information without more context. I did confirm who i was by name, and they lady as an alternative said i could confirm my month and year of birth, which i agreed to do. From that point the person on the phone was HIGHLY confrontational, and disrespectful. She went on to say i owed XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX, and wanted my card information. I told the person that i've lived in the state of Georgia since XXXX, and had not been to nor been seen by anyone with XXXX XXXX, nor has any of my family. She said that they could not provide me anymore information and since i declared that the bill wasn't me, and she demanded that i provide her a fax with a written complaint. I explained again that i am not going to give anyone anything without information about the bill. The person continued to be rude and hung up on me. I then followed up with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to attempt and identify if this was a legitimate store. I talked to two people associated to the healthcare service, and neither person could identify an outstanding bill or any balance owed. I'd like assistance from CFPB in resolving this matter, or identifying fraudulent activity.

I pulled my own credit report on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. American Collection Enterprises , Inc. ( ACEI ) of XXXX, VA is reporting a debt to Equifax from a childcare company that I used in XX/XX/XXXX. I am aware of the childcare company, and used that company, but was not aware that there was an outstanding balance. During my call, I advised ACEI that I was not aware of the debt and asked if there was something they could provide me regarding the debt. I was told by the ACEI rep that they do n't have to provide me with anything because something was sent to me in XX/XX/XXXX. Further, their rep stated that since they are reporting it on my credit report every month, that is all the verification they are required to provide. I advised them that it is now 5 years after the supposed letter was sent to me, that I never received it, and asked if they could please send me something, anything, that indicates I owe the debt. I was refused again and referred to the fact that they only have to report it on my credit report. I sent a certified letter asking for more information and the letter is thus far undeliverable. I used the address as found on the Better Business Bureau. They provide no address whatsoever on their website, only a form to fill out. I am only requesting they provide the minimum amount of information that verifies that the original creditor ' says I still owe this debt. I believe that I do not. I do n't feel that simply reporting it on my credit report is proof of anything. If they ca n't provide this information, then I would like them to remove the entry from my credit report. I have also reached out to the daycare company via email ( one that I retrieved directly from their website ) and it was returned undeliverable.

University XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX sent me a bill for {$360.00}. I paid {$150.00} on that account and because I was in XXXX for XXXX and not making the payments fast enough, they sent the account to a collection company called ACEI. Unfortunately, they lied and told ACEI that I owed almost {$390.00}. They also failed to report to ACEI that I had paid them {$150.00}. ACEI began trying to collect the erroneous amount of {$390.00}. I disputed the amount and also asked that I be credited for the {$150.00}. I paid the remaining balance on XX/XX/19 -- which satisfied the original debt of {$360.00}. ACEI continued to harass me and tried to collect because University XXXX XXXX REFUSED to tell the company that I had already paid {$150.00} Before they even sent it to collection. I have PROOF of the initial bill plus every single payment I made to University XXXX XXXX AND ACEI ( see attached document ). The payments of {$100.00}, {$50.00}, {$210.00}, and {$10.00} are highlighted. Simple math will reveal that they satisfy the {$360.00} bill. Once UNiversity XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent false information to ACEI ( they never told them I had paid {$150.00} of it ), ACEI then broke every consumer law, including the FCRA, by posting derogatory information to my credit report on XX/XX/19. Although I only had ONE account with University XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( account XXXX ), ACEI falsely indicated that I had 4 accounts. That act allowed them to hit my report with 4 different collection accounts. I don't owe ACEI or UNiversity XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ONE penny. The {$360.00} was PAID IN FULL by XX/XX/19. I blame UNiversity XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX JUST as much as I blame this predatory company, ACEI

In or around XX/XX/2021, the company reported to the three major credit bureaus false or misleading information that adversely impacted my creditworthiness. The company, for example, told the Office of the State of Maryland 's Attorney General that the {$6000.00} did not include assessed collection fees. However, on or about XX/XX/2021, the original creditor, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, confirmed that the amount had an assessed {$2500.00} collection fee. When a complaint was filed in accordance with the FDCPA, the original creditor, through the collection agency, attempted to " clarify '' that the {$2500.00} was for a reversed provider adjustment and not a collection fee. Despite these significant differences, the collection agency continued knowingly reporting the original amount. The previously stated assessed collection fee showed as the " balance '' of the debt, which violates the FCRA and the FDCPA. Next, the company failed to provide the agreement specified in Section 808 of the FDCPA. When asked for evidence that the original creditor was permitted to collect a fee, the company repeatedly provided an agreement dated eighXXXX days after the service date and when the debt was originally incurred. Despite this materially significant factor, the company has continued to report, in the balance, an amount that includes collection fees on which there is no agreement authorizing the company to assess any such fee. For these reasons, I believe the company has violated the FCRA and the FDCPA and has knowingly employed prohibited practices in attempting to collect this debt.

If AMERICAN COLLECTIONS XXXX can not provide the original instrument or proof that it still exists, then AMERICAN COLLECTIONS XXXX shall send me an original statement affirming that AMERICAN COLLECTIONS XXXX did not sell the original instrument because if AMERICAN COLLECTIONS XXXX didn't sell the original signed instrument of indebtedness ; then AMERICAN COLLECTIONS XXXX should be able to produce the original instrument or note. I was asked to give the last four of my social which I refused due to my personal information being stolen. The representative proceeded by saying well I can confirm by your date of birth which she did. The representative stated that I owe {$35.00} for a medical bill from XXXX hospital and I could pay with a credit card.I simply asked could she send me a copy of the bill because to my knowledge I just paid the last bill that I saw on my credit report. The representative said no I can not have a copy of the bill and I should've paid it by now. I told her I wasn't paying a bill I know nothing about. She proceeded to say well you just paid {$25.00} to us a few weeks ago so you have knowledge of this company. I stated I only knew of the {$25.00} because it was on my credit report and I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX hospital and the info for this {$25.00} bill was the only amount given to me. The representative was adamant about not giving me any additional information. I asked again for a copy of the bill and she denied my request again and said it was going to be reported to the credit bureau. The conversation was not moving forward so I decided to end the call. I called back a few minutes later and asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told I was speaking with a supervisor. I was once again denied information so I ended the call with no resolve. The representatives were very unprofessional and rude. I wanted the information to verify that the bill belong to me and if so I would have no problem paying it.

I called American Collections Enterprise on XXXX/XXXX/17 spoke with XXXX XXXX. Advised him that I wanted to do a settlement offer on this account b.c its an old debt. XXXX XXXX stated that he was unable to take a settlement offer b/c XXXX does n't take settlement payments. I advised him that per my credit report it shows that the account was sold to them. He told me that they are only a XXXX party between me and XXXX and that I would need to contact them directly if I wanted a settlement offer. He was very rude. I asked him why does it show them being the original creditor he told me to ask the credit bureaus b/c he does n't work for them. Then I requested to speak with a supervisor. I explained to XXXX what I wanted to do and how XXXX XXXX was talking to me. She said that perhaps my question warned his response. I told her that they were still in a customer service position and no one should be talked down b/c they owe an debt. She kept saying how Its been 3 years and how I did n't pay. I thanked her and called XXXX. I spoke with XXXX who handles the center in XXXX. Per XXXX they should have never told me to call them b/c they purchased the account from them and she does n't know why they said that XXXX cant accept settlements when they don '' t have the account and have nothing to do with it anymore. She was shocked that they behaved and talked to me in such a manner. She apologized and gave me her direct line just case something happens again. She also sent a complaint on my behalf to the department that hands the collection agency.

This is not a refusal to pay an alleged debt! AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT claims that I am obligated to pay them an alleged debt associated with account # : XXXX. AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT shall provide me with the original instrument of indebtedness ( signed contract ) or proof that it still exists. If AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT can not provide the original instrument or proof that it still exists, then AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT shall send me an original statement affirming that AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT did not sell the original instrument because if AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT didn't sell the original signed instrument of indebtedness ; then AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT should be able to produce the original instrument or note. Only the holder has the right to collect on an instrument and an instrument is not a typed or printed statement or payment history that lacks a signatory. I will pay the alleged debt when AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT produces the original instrument or proof that it has not been sold, which proves that I am obligated to AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT. Also please produce the trilateral contract between me ( consumer )XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT that shows I agreed to do business with AMERICAN COLLECTIONS ENT along with XXXX XXXX XXXXS or on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. Truth in Lending Act as well as the freedom of information act says I am obligated to have proof of the original instrument of indebtedness. I submitted a disputed to all three credit bureaus against American Collections open balance of {$65.00} in XXXX. XXXX ( XX/XX/2021 ) immediately removed outstanding amount from Credit Report however XXXX and XXXX came back that the amount was valid. I proceeded to submit ( XX/XX/2021 ) the dispute report from XXXX and XXXX is currently researching for over 30 days and XXXX came back that the amount was valid. I attempted to resubmit a dispute to XXXX and I was not allowed as it was determined that the matter was closed. I then waited a few days and submitted another dispute with the XXXX XXXX report and a copy of the money order ( XX/XX/2021 ). Immediately I received an email that the dispute was valid. I proceeded to call XXXX where I was repeatedly asked what new information did I have available. I asked the representative what additional information would be needed than proof that another credit bureau found the information needed to be removed without any documentation. However I also submitted a copy of the money order. After being asked multiple times if I had additional information the representative stated they were able to see the documentation I originally submitted and hopefully the reviewers would see it and remove American Collections from my report. However I receive multiple emails from XXXX that the matter is being investigated and XXXX states it is still under investigation. There is no reason that this issue should have taken multiple submissions over 2 months. It should be resolved and the items removed.

I called American Collection Enterprises , Inc. today 3 times. I originally received the phone number from the medical provider I owed the balance too. I spoke with one guy at ACEI who transferred me to a woman name XXXX XXXX who was very rude. I asked her how can I receive a copy of the letter which they stated was mailed to me in XX/XX/2020, which I informed them I never received. Because of the back and forth conversation I asked to speak with her manager, which she state no because she's not saying what I want to hear so I hung up and retried the call to get another representative. When calling back the receptionist forward me back to Ms. XXXX. I asked if she was the representative I just spoke too. Again, it was a back and forth conversation then she put me on hold to listen to music. I called back again and demanded to speak with a supervisor, which I was then transferred to a Ms. XXXX who also wasn't listening to my request. As I stated to her I was requesting a copy of the letter they said they mailed back in XX/XX/2020. This company is very rude. I told Ms. XXXX I will call the medical provider and pay whatever is owed to them because I'm not paying someone who will not provide the communication they stated they sent. Ms. XXXX stated go ahead it will just take longer to get it resolved. Why would I pay anyone who stated they mailed me communication when I'm requesting that they send it to me again so I will know who I'm making a payment too.

I received a letter from American Collections Enterprise ( ACEI ) stating I owed a debt. I contacted them to find out why and alleged date of service. I found out they had a medical bill for a date of service I had insurance for, again. I explained to them I had contacted the original creditor and they were to bill my health insurance and that I never received written communication regarding the debt from the original creditors or that it was going into Collections. I spoke with a XXXX XXXX who transferred me to her " supervisor ''. I was requesting the debt to be sent back to the original creditor so they can bill my health insurance because this is the 3rd time I've had to do this because of this creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX not doing the appropriate thing. He refused to provide me his name and hung up on me. I called back and requested his name from XXXX XXXX who attempted to transfer me back to the original " supervisor '' after requesting to speak to his higher up due to his rude and aggressive behavior towards me because I told him I was just going to file a complaint, he responded with, " So you'll write a complaint about our company but you won't dispute to us in writing? '' Before hanging up the phone on me. I attempted to contact the company back and my calls were screened and they would not answer. Low and behold I called from a different number and they picked up the phone. Extremely unprofessional and aggressive.

In XXXX of 2020 I checked my credit report and found a handful of collection accounts that I didn't recognize. Knowing this entry had to be a mistake I sent a debt validation letter to American Collections on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX that same day. To date I have not received a response from the company saying that an investigation was going to be done into the matter. I have never received any update or validation into this erroneous accounts. Instead, it remained on my credit reports and continues to lower my credit scores. I have sent a follow up validation bimonthly since XX/XX/2020 I sent a following up requests into this matter directly to American Collections. I let them know that it had been over 2 years since my initial request for validation and advised them that they had violated my consumer rights by not having these accounts removed from my credit reports and by not validating the debt while continuing to report it. I advised them that their silence was obviously and admission of silence and I was under the impression that the debt should have been removed because they failed their legal duty to answer my claims. I have even sent account validations requests directly to the credit bureaus and they are advising me that American Collections has verified these accounts as legit. I am requesting for these accounts to be removed from all 3 of my credit profiles immediately.

I took a rental car from XXXX XXXX leasing and they had a flier or a notice not part of their contractual agreement and they charged me XXXX USD for a car clean up. I disputed this with them on my XXXX XXXX credit card bill sending them the pictures of my car. Now they send this bill to collection agency resulting to an amount of XXXX USD. I received a letter 6 months or 9 months before stating that I owe and I explained American Collections agency on what actually happened. I never received any feedback or call from thereon. This charge is now on my credit report for a long time and I want to have it removed. I spoke to American Collections agency today explaining that the charge done by the location in XXXX for XXXX is a fraudulent charge. I can imagine anyone charging XXXX USD flat fee for a car cleaning where the car was rented for a week will have small dust particles because of walking. I also ensured the same before leaving the car that if I need to do anything at the time of check up. American Collection agency is basically being biased and saying that their customers rent a lot of cars and they know what they are doing. With all due respect they do not want to resolve this dispute. I called their office like 4 times and the lady just hung up on me. I conducted additional research and found another potential address. I contacted the collection agency to dispute the debt and advise them that I did not owe this location money. I received a letter back using the alternate address ( not the one on my credit ) that the account had been " validated '' which was mailed days after XXXX reported that they had mailed the information to me. I sent another letter to XXXX advising them that they have violated the FDCPA and had continue to report a debt to the credit bureaus after receiving notification that the debt was disputed. I further advised that if they did not correct this issue and refrain from reporting this inaccurate information, I would have no choice but to take further action. To date, XXXX has chosen not to respond.

American Collections Enterprise , Inc. has reported fraudulent information to credit bureaus regarding a alleged debt. This debt has been paid in full to the original creditor yet American Collection Enterprise , Inc. continues to report the debt as unpaid to credit bureaus even though they have acknowledged being informed of the debt having been satisfied prior to their most recent reporting to credit bureaus. I filed complaints with the XXXX and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau yet as of XXXX/XXXX/2015 they had yet to remove the incorrect information. In their response to the complaints, they state that they were informed that the debt has been satisfied prior to their most recent reporting. Their response states " XXXX XXXX ' payment was made directly to the original creditor. They reported it to our office on XXXX XXXX, 2015. '' However XXXX listed the account being updated on XXXX XXXX, 2015. The debt was then removed from my Credit Report when I checked it as of XXXX/XXXX/2015. However, the false information has been reported again to XXXX. This time, they have reported only the dollar amount and account number, electing to leave their name off of it. This is the XXXX complaint I have had to make regarding their tactics and I have been advised by council that these repeated false reportings constitute harassment.

I contact American Collections Enterprise , Inc. the same day I received an invoice for a XXXX medical invoice for my daughter. The invoice had an address to mail checks to but no payee information. I had overlooked the invoice and was calling to request to whom I should make the check out. They immediately started giving me the run around even though I was saying that I would pay them in full immediately. They wanted to send me to a web site ( I do n't think they have one ) to find out. The person on the phone got combative when I pointedly asked for the answer to a simple so that I would not have to waste time looking through a web site. Further it was not a confidential piece of information ( my daughter is over XXXX. ). She then hung up on me. I called again and got the same behavior from someone else although not quite as combative but combative still the same. She avoided answering the question, claiming that my daughter would have to call, but eventually did provide the information. Given the conduct, the many previous complaints about this company in your database, I am extremely concerned about identity theft or some other kind of fraud. I have never heard of trying to collect money and then refusing to tell you how to make out the check.

I called to setup payment and during the process I was asked few questions about address, card information and phone number. In addition to that the rep started asking for current employer and other details which I was not comfortable to answer. I declined it, and I told him I wonder why you need all other information and is it a standard practice. I was told yes, and I asked can you please share your compliance / data collection policy for my reference. The rep immediately told me he will transfer to someone in the compliance department. I asked for the same and expressed stating that it is not required to ask these questions. She told me immediately that you wanted a " free service '' sir and so you do not want to give information. This was an accusation and told her we changed our homes and somehow it bill got slipped off. This is the reason why I called to pay it off and i am glad you have called to resolve this. She continued to act rude and make statements which I never experienced before. This is unacceptable for any consumer to get treated like this. It is a simple question and she could have answered. Now, I would like to see their data collection policy which she declined to share. Please bar these types of companies. Her name XXXX XXXX.

On or before XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted the original creditor and paid the medical debt I have with them directly. They told me that day, and they have confirmed multiple times since then, that they ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) notified the debt collector ( ACEI ) on XX/XX/XXXX of the resolution of the outstanding medical debts with them. I called to confirm this with ACEI the first week of XXXX and was told it would take awhile to process the updates of resolution of the medical debts from the original creditor and that I should submit a request in writing via email. They gave me the email address and I did this, requesting an itemized list of the remaining medical bills be sent to my account. I received a packet from XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. This packet does not comply with the 'tear off " verification notice with the new CFPB rule that requires a tear off giving consumers notice of how to dispute the debt. Moreover, this packet contains falsehoods. There are bills in this packet ( dated XX/XX/XXXX ) that the original creditor has confirmed have been paid. I also have made multiple attempts to request in writing updated information about verification of any debt that XXXX claims I still owe them and which bills have been resolved.

On XX/XX/XXXX I called because I was trying to pay a debt. The woman hung up after she recieved my bank information. I made several follow up calls to attempt to get a record of the recieved payment and see when the payment would be reported to the credit bureaus. I was transferred and hung up several times. I was told I'd be given a call back, which I never recieved. On XX/XX/XXXX the representative who collected my bank info called me back not to return my call but because she transposed the number! She would not answer any of my questions and had the audacity to charge me an extra fee. I told her she must of transposed the number and tried to inquire further about how I would get a copy of reciept of payment. She caught an attitude and had to " transfer '' me at which point I was put on hold for 15 mins and someone from compliance answered. I submitted a complaint on the service I was recieved, which was completely ignored. She said she would review the call to see if I what I said was what was written and call me back on XX/XX/XXXX. As there was no viable evidence showing that this debt is being reported accurately, I wrote a second letter to the debt collection agency asking for this evidence. Alternatively, I can submit the bill, but the bill that XXXX XXXX is sending me is for a service that I did not receive at a price that has not been submitted to the insurance agency. To date they have not contacted me in writing and they have submitted this debt to the credit agency. I contacted Washington XXXX XXXX several. They state that they can not issue a letter stating that the debt was erroneously sent. When I reviewed the debt with the insurance agency it became apparent that they were billing me for services that had not been received. My parents received repeated phone calls from a company called ACEI ( American Collections Enterprises Inc ) regarding an alleged {$39.00} debt I owed to a dental practice. A woman by the name of XXXX XXXX requested that I call them. XXXX XXXX -- and her manager, XXXX XXXX -- both committed what I believe are violations of debt collection laws. Additionally, when I asked for written confirmation of ACEI 's attempt to collect the debt, both XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX refused to mail me such a notice, even after I informed them of their obligation to do so. last calls were today, I received five calls. They are attempting to collect a debt my son owes. My son doesn't live here. He's XXXX and qualified and applied for the emergency room charges at the hospital and they approved him. For some reason this group refuses to STOP calling me. I could only select one option and that was repeated calls, but they call before XXXX and as late as XXXX. They have been calling for several months now. Prior to this I received collection letters and I had to repeatedly return them and clearly wrote NOT AT THIS ADDRESS to no avail. I tried call the number they call me on, it answers, tells you to wait, cycles back over and over and finally disconnects. There's no way for me to block them on my cell phone either. This never was my son 's phone number, it was an emergency contact ( mom ) number. Please make them pay a fine or something, they are really aggressive and crossing the line over and over. I am on the do not call registry too, however I know that may not involve this case.

I have contacted the below companies requesting detailed information regarding the alleged debt owed. I never gave XXXX XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX permission to release my information to a third party. I asked the collection agencies to provide proof that I signed documentation releasing my personal medical history. I also forwarded a copy to the credit bureaus and they did not follow through with the proper investigation. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX refused to contact the insurance company to receive payment of services yet has elected to push the responsibility on me. I provided the information from XXXX and they said they never heard back to send payment information. I have attached proof from XXXX regarding my hospital claim for XX/XX/XXXX. I was contacted by PAYACEI regarding a debt to the UNiversity of XXXX XXXX XXXX. The bill was for {$360.00}. At the time Univ of XXXX sent the debt to this collection agency, I had been paying ( {$150.00} ) and was nearly halfway done paying it. After being contacted by PAYACEI, I paid them the remaining {$210.00} I will owed and wrote " paid in full '' on the check, which was subsequently cashed. To my dismay, ACEI contacted me AGAIN about the now paid in full debt. I asked them to cease and desist and provided proof of all payments in a certified letter. They then contacted me again despite my request that they cease and desist. I refuse to pay MORE than what I originally owed. On XX/XX/XXXX, PAYACEI put 4 different negative collection accounts on my XXXX report -- ALL of which are untrue.. Again, this account was paid in full as of XX/XX/2019 when they cashed the final check for {$210.00}.

I recently received a copy of my credit report and noticed some erroneous items on my credit reports. American Collection Enterprise Inc. is handling the collection of the accounts mentioned above. However after reviewing my records, I am unable to find any documentation of any contractual relationship between American Collection Enterprise Inc. and me which makes them entitled to enforce a commercial claim against me. This is not a request for verification or validation. This is a request for strict proof of contract to substantiate their claim.. Provide me with a certified copy of an original contract with my signature, specifically naming American Collection Enterprise Inc. entitled to enforce a commercial claim against me. Certification can be done through the presence of a notary public, who duly swears the copy made is in fact a copy of the original paper contract in questions.

RE : XXXX This company has responded to the above claim with the attached documents. These documents in no way show any commitment on my behalf to pay this alleged debt to this creditor. In fact, these documents do not even include the name of the creditor that is alleging this debt and reporting on my consumer report. A logo does not suffice. The documents that this company has sent via USPS do not include any contractual agreement between myself and any of their dbas in any way shape or form, as was admitted in their previous response. This reporting is causing issues with my ability to acquire essentials because of this negative reporting and defamatory remarks on my credit. Again, this company is violating several FCRA laws in addition to my consumer rights by reporting this inaccurate information and refusing to remove it.

I am writing this dispute for a second time and demanding that this item be investigated and removed in its entirety, immediately. This matter has already been addressed, and is in clear violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g, however this third-party creditor is still illegally reporting invalidated information to all three major credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) constituting fraud under both Federal and State law. This is a direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and Defamation of Character.
