On XX/XX/XXXX, the Environmental Health Department of XXXX XXXX County conducted a complaint inspection at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX CA, XXXX, sent to lien holder XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, DE XXXX. The complaint alleged that debris material had been buried on the site. The results revealed there was large amount of waste that had been disposed of on the site, including hazardous waste. On XX/XX/XXXX, A Trustees Deed Upon Sale was recorded on the property in XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, Trustee ( a wholly owned division of Altisource Portfolio Solutions ) deeded the foreclosed property to the lien holder XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX DE XXXX. The sale price was {$200000.00} and was recorded by XXXX XXXX of California, a wholly owned subsidiary of Altisource Portfolio Solutions. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( division of XXXX XXXX ), conducted the sale of the property at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX. They intentionally concealed the fact the Environmental Health Department of XXXX XXXX conducted a complaint inspection for dumping and sold the property for {$290000.00} to Mr. and Mrs. XXXX & XXXX XXXX. The Sellers exclusive REO disposition agent, Altisource Portfolio Solutions, actively concealed materially adverse information that this property had been used as a dumping site prior to sale at auction, with hazardous waste buried on the site. " This is considered an illegal site operated post regulation - it must meet Title 27 California Code of Regulation ( T27CCR ) for closure or be clean closed. XXXX XXXX, Program Coordinator REHS, Environmental Health Department, XX/XX/XXXX. The Seller retains strict liability for the burial of hazardous waste, and AS-IS proclamations do not relieve the seller of any responsibility whatsoever under XXXX. Mr. and Mrs. XXXX XXXX meet the criteria of innocent buyers under XXXX and the XXXX XXXX federal law, as they acquired the property without knowledge of contamination on the property. A visual inspection could not have revealed buried hazardous waste, and they were expressly prohibited from trespassing on the property prior to the sale as the tenants resisted eviction, and they feared for their safety. It took over 6 months to recover the property from the occupants. California law requires sellers to disclose material details that may materially affect the potential buyers desire to purchase the property. AS-IS and like disclaimers are ineffectual in removing liability from the Seller and Sellers Agent. Dumping hazardous materials is clearly a material fact, and XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, that orchestrated the REO sale for XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Trustee ) and Premium Title [ the latter two owned by Altisource ( Sellers Agents ) ] can face severe penalties for intentionally concealing such known material facts. Since they actively concealed a known material adverse fact, this is fraudulent misrepresentation under the law. Remedies include compensatory damages, punitive damages and contract rescission. In such a case, fraudulent misrepresentation may even be considered a criminal offense. The Seller and Sellers Agents actively and fraudulently concealed this information to obtain a higher price at auction. XXXX XXXX and Altisource Portfolio Solutions have an ongoing financial interest in maximizing REO sales through deception. The Purchase Contract devised by Altisource Portfolio Solutions induced Mr. and Mrs. XXXX to engage the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( a subsidiary of Altisource ) by refusing to pay customary title fees unless Premium Title was selected by Buyer, in full knowledge that the standard ethical buyer/seller arrangements would not be followed. Mr. and Mrs. XXXX believed XXXX XXXX would follow all legal and ethical norms, including providing known materially adverse information that impacts the marketability of the property. On page 1, Section 1 of California REO Advisory Requirements, the notice clearly states that : the Seller is not exempt from common law and statutory duties concerning fraud and deceit, even though the specific TDS Form is not required to be completed. Seller remains obligated to disclose known material facts affecting the value and Desirability of the Property. C.A.R. form REO Advisory, Revised XX/XX/XXXX There are literally tens of thousands of complaints against the unethical, illegal practices of these two related organizations ( XXXX is a shareholder of Altisource, with an exclusive Reo disposition agreement ). As they intentionally concealed material adverse information known before the sale in order to cheat the Buyers, Altisource must take appropriate corrective actions, pay punitive damages, and their license to operate should be reviewed.

We received an email requesting " Feedback about the company 's response ''. We did not read the company 's response. We know their responses without reviewing them. The XXXX is obvious. We were alerting the CFPB to what you already knew. The CFPB knows that XXXX steals homes ; you acknowledged that by filing a second lawsuit. If the Victims were mainly " XXXX '' ; this would have been stopped a long time ago. No ; let me correct that, it would have never started. You have a XXXX XXXX company that is stealing " XXXX '' people homes ; there are other victims as well ; but just like predatory lending, the main victims were XXXX. The CFPB also knows that Altisource is used to illegally confiscate these stolen homes for XXXX. Altisource paid XXXX XXXX for their relationship with XXXX. As of XXXX, XXXX the CFPB was once again investigating the XXXX XXXX XXXX Relationship ; so the CFPB is well aware of their crimes. The CFPB sued XXXX AGAIN for these crimes ; along with XXXX Other States. It does not take a genius to see that XXXX States banning these crooks and filing their own lawsuits, as well as cease and desist orders against XXXX proves that XXXX and their attorneys are engaging in Illegal Activities ; and our research has revealed that it is mostly against XXXX People. When the CFPB saw that XXXX and their XXXX party vendors, aka Unscrupulous attorneys violated the previous XXXX XXXX ; that alone was grounds for a cease and desist order. They should have issued a cease and desist order just like the XXXX states that sued XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The CFPB knew they were continuing to steal homes and chose to look the other way. We 'll say it again ; if it were XXXX people, it would be a different scenario. Filing a lawsuit and providing {$1800.00} to people that have lost their homes to these crooks is an INSULT. The CFPB, was created in part to govern these crooks, but has allowed them to continue in their well known, obvious Crimes. XXXX 's actions are not in dispute, or debate. The Investigation from the last Consent Order reported that XXXX files false, deceptive, mortgage related documents and affidavits ; files Illegal Foreclosures and Violates Homeowners Rights. What part of that Investigative Report do you not understand? Altisource is one of their Co-Conspirators ; and the CFPB knows this as well ; or you would not be investigating their relationship. In our case ; XXXX, Altisource and these XXXX attorneys knows that they DO NOT have any type of contractual relationship with us. They know that they have NEVER collected for our Lender ; they know they have never received one dime from us ; they know that our home has no liens or mortgages. They Know This. What they did not know was that Criminal Charges would be filed ; and that they could not complete a fraudulent conveyance. These crooks have tried everything in the book to steal our home ; and because we XXXX XXXX, has the AUDICITY to defended ourselves and our property, by filing numerous complaints with the CFPB and the Bar Association ; they RETALIATED by having Altiosurce attempt to confiscate our home ; aka steal it out from under us ; but THEY FAILED ; because what they discovered when they went to the courthouse to file one of those " Deceptive Mortgage Related Documents '' referenced in the Consent Order ; is that these XXXX XXXX XXXX, who has the AUDICITY to defend themselves from these Crooks do we do own our home. Altisource broke into our Privately Owned Home ; and did over {$7800.00} worth of damage ; and used Foreclosure as the excuse according to Altisource Ombudsman, XXXX XXXX. There was NO FORECLOSURE ; so whats the excuse now. There is no excuse ; XXXX never has an excuse. We have possession of our home ; No Foreclosure was EVER filed. This was a XXXX XXXX ; and a Violation of our Civil Rights. I guarantee you that if we were XXXX ; this would not have happened. If we were XXXX, XXXX would have fixed their mess by now. our home would have been repaired by now. The CFPB wanted our feedback ; well here is our feedback. We are disgusted. As XXXX we defended this XXXX ; including these XXXX People who tried to steal our home. The CFPB, who has the authority to govern Altisource and XXXX has failed. When the CFPB saw a need to file a second Lawsuit because XXXX had violated the previous Court Order/ Consent Order, a Cease and Desist Order should have been filed ; and if the Victims were XXXX ; it probably would have been filed. The CFPB deals with Civil issues ; and this is a Criminal Issue as well as a Civil Rights Issue ; plain and simple, a XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX now has the jurisdiction.

XXXX XXXX will not verify my payments made for their account through XXXX XXXX. They are disregarding their contracted collection agency payment arrangements when pulling accounts back. They 've now sold to another collection agency for the full amount which is incorrect and require me to postal mail all bank statements. I could not get a phone number or fax number for XXXX 's dispute department. Only a PO box from an offshore representative with a 30 day turn around on response, if they choose to respond. XXXX - XXXX XXXX charged off my XXXX credit card for the amount of {$1500.00}. XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX picked up the account in XXXX XXXX. I setup a payment arrangement with XXXX XXXX XXXX to deduct {$45.00} from my XXXX bank account until the balance was paid in full. Was given the option to settle in the letter but decided to pay in full so my my credit report would look better when I purchase a house. I made XXXX on-time automatic deductions of {$45.00} from my XXXX account between XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - XXXX/XXXX/XXXX before XXXX XXXX stopped the automatic deductions for the XXXX XXXX payment. My total payments to XXXX XXXX was {$720.00} with a remaining balance of {$790.00}. This has been verified through the XXXX XXXX reps. XXXX - I called XXXX XXXX when I noticed the XXXX amount had not been deducted from my XXXX account. I was told XXXX XXXX had pulled the account back for unknown reasons and the account was closed. I received no mail or calls from XXXX XXXX regarding this decision or after this occurred. XXXX - I receive a letter from a new creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX, seeking the full balance of {$1500.00} again on behalf of XXXX XXXX. I sent XXXX a dispute letter by certified mail on the amount owed requesting them to verify the amount and told them about the previous payments made. XXXX - XXXX XXXX is also reporting a balance of {$1500.00} and past due amount of {$450.00} on my XXXX Credit Report. Disputed with XXXX and amounts were not updated when the investigation was complete, XXXX XXXX responded with incorrect amounts again. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - XXXX responds with a large packet of XXXX website screenshots from XXXX saying the account is now verified, still say I owe an incorrect amount of {$1500.00}. I called XXXX XXXX again telling them about the XXXX XXXX payments totaling {$720.00} were not applied to this debt before they transferred to XXXX. The rep was located offshore and only able to provide me with a PO box to mail my XXXX bank statements and payment proof from XXXX XXXX. Told him they should be the ones to contact XXXX XXXX about payments made to this account not transferring between their companies correctly. Again the burden of proof was put back on me - I again requested a phone number to contact someone who I can speak with about this and he could only refer me to a mailing PO box to dispute! XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - Called XXXX XXXX asking for payment history and tell them what is going on with XXXX Bank. Told a manager is only able to access my account for payment history since it 's closed now. The rep said it would be sent and I will receive it in about 10 business days. She verified the amount left when the account was closed was {$790.00}. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX Called XXXX XXXX and explained my situation. The manager told me they would send the account back to XXXX Bank as disputed. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX Followed up with XXXX XXXX on the dispute - Was told by the rep my fraud dispute was denied. I never told XXXX it was fraud, only that the balance still owed was incorrect! They 're requesting again I send in payment proof again to the PO box and it could take up to 30 days to get a response. Asked him if I could just pay the remaining {$790.00} to resolve this matter, was told I owed {$1500.00} still! XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - Spoke to XXXX XXXX and they say the payment information was sent to XXXX XXXX when the account was returned. The rep told me today she did n't see where the manager had requested my payment history be sent from my call on XXXX. She said they 're sending me payment history by mail. I should have it by next week to send to XXXX XXXX. ( I recorded call - and includes information on my payments and balance ) I have all phone conversations recorded to prove these conversations occurred. I have all XXXX bank statements attached with my sixteen {$45.00} XXXX XXXX Payments highlighted. When I get the XXXX XXXX payment history proof next week in the mail I can mail it, but I should n't have to. They should have a communication line to their collectors. I have no confidence they will verify any proof I send since they 've taken no effort to do so to date. Please help!

Altisource, in an effort to steal our home, broke into our home and damaged it. In order to avoid Felony Charges of Theft By Conversion, they claim it was a Foreclosure on XX/XX/XXXX. THERE WAS NO FORECLOSURE ; first and foremost ; you can not foreclose on a Fully Reconveyed Deed filed and recorded in the County Records. We have been telling these XXXX this for the longest. This was further Validated by Title Insurance ; which we sent to Altisource ; and we will attach the first of 10 pages ; just in case you need to see it again. In addition to the Fully Reconveyed Deed ; and Title Insurance ; XXXX 's Ombudsman ; XXXX XXXX stated that I was NOT XXXX Customer. You broke into a Privately Owned Home with no Mortgages or Liens ; damaged it ; and you are Liable for the damages. Whatever happens with the Criminal Charges has nothing to do with repairing our home. It has been almost a month and we still have not received payment. Our home is not livable. The front door and frame is damaged ; our carpet is torn apart and ripped up off the floor in three rooms, and the ripped up damage carpet thrown all over. The pantry door broke when the some of the ripped up carpet was thrown inside. The carpet on the stairs and upstairs is muddied. No one can live there until this mess is fixed ; and Altisource has the nerve to continue to delay to fix my home. Altisource 's Ombudsman, XXXX XXXX called last week to state that the case had been sent to the Legal Department and XXXX XXXX stated that they will offer {$1500.00} for {$7800.00} worth of damages if we would sign a Release of Liability that was to be sent in an email. We never received the email ; which would not matter, because we would not sign it away. You will pay for the full damages. Detective XXXX called to discuss the case ; and said that an Altisource Rep stated that XXXX was the buyer of our SUPPOSED Foreclosed Property. This was a big laugh ; XXXX supposedly SOLD the home in Foreclosure and BOUGHT the Home that they supposedly SOLD in Foreclosure. Do you see how ridiculous this is? What really happened was that XXXX 's Attorney ; XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX, acting independently of XXXX attempted to file one of their many, Illegal Foreclosures that they are so notorious for. According to Altisource Ombudsman, XXXX XXXX ; XXXX XXXX contacted Altisource to break into our home ; and begin the process of House Stealing as the FBI calls it. They broke in ; changed our locks to a coded lock ; literally damaged our home and attempted to transfer our utilities ; but stopped abruptly and dropped everything ; including the process of transferring utilities. What they discovered was that THEY COULD NOT FILE A FORECLOSURE ; BECAUSE THE DEED HAS BEEN FULLY RECONVEYED FILED AND RECORDED IN THE COUNTY RECORDS OVER A YEAR AGO. Meaning ; the Mortgage and Liens had been satisfied. Meaning, There are NO Open Mortgages or Liens or Judgments as Validated by Title Insurance with XXXX ; and XXXX, XXXX XXXX used by the FDIC ; XXXX, XXXX XXXX. There is No Foreclosure ; and never will be ; Altisource and XXXX attempted to steal our home ; as they are known for doing. They damaged or home in the process ; and Altisource WILL PAY FOR IT. Altisource Ombudsman ; XXXX XXXX stated that XXXX gave the instructions ; but Altisource 's name was given as the entity that tried to transfer our utilities ; and Altisource is named as the Suspect on the Police Report. As previously stated ; it has been almost a Month and Altisource STILL has not paid for the damages and they are causing severe hardship. Local Police are already involved ; do we really need to escalate this to the State and Federal Level? I suggest you take a look at the evidence and review the County Records for yourselves. This is not some foreclosed property ; you damaged a Private OWNED Home ; and you Altisource are Liable. We do n't care about what XXXX told you. We have NO contractual relationship with XXXX ; and never have as their own Ombudsman stated. Altisource has already paid XXXX XXXX for their relationship with XXXX. XXXX has been sued again by the CFPB ; and since AXX/XX/XXXX XXXX states have banned them ; as well as filed suit ; it 's time for Altisource to get a Clue about XXXX.

My name is XXXX XXXX, I am a settlement attorney in DC-metro area. I would like to submit a formal complaint about Altisource, a mortgage servicing company and it 's subsidiaries operating the Title/Settlement businesses, such as Premium Title. I have worked with Altisource several times and had the same issues several times so I can no longer believe it is simply a processor error. I believe that Altisource intentionally miscalculates the " purchase price '' on the HUD-1 so buyers pay more in title insurance and the title company receives higher title premiums. In the HUBZU/Altisource contract, there is a clear misinterpretation of the purchase price figure. The contract lists the " purchase price '' which is the price that the buyer and seller agree upon. However, after they sign the contract, XXXX other fees are listed - " Buyer premium '' and the " Buyer Tech Fee ''. In XXXX places in the contract, it mentions these XXXX figures as the " Total Due from Buyer ''. I do not disagree with that - the buyer is responsible for these fees. However, the processors at Altisource consistently combine all XXXX charges into the " Purchase Price '' on the HUD-1. When questioned about it, they point to the contract which simply states " Total Due from Buyer is the purchase price, buyer premium and buyer tech fee. '' It does NOT state that the total purchase price equals the purchase price, buyer premium and buyer tech fee. Only in the FAQ 's does it state that the total purchase price is the total of these XXXX charges. I believe the contract is intentionally vague as to this point since the FAQ 's are a separate document and I believe the intent is to deceive buyers, knowing it is likely they will not read the FAQ 's. The FAQ 's & the contract do not use the same language - if the contract intended to use the purchase price, buyer premium, and buyer tech fee as the total purchase price, it should ONE time throughout the contract refer to those as the " total purchase price. '' The contract is the binding agreement that is signed This miscalculation of the purchase price creates a financial disadvantage to the buyer. First, the transfer/recordation taxes will be higher to the buyer w/ a higher purchase price. With almost all REO properties that XXXX & Altisource deal in, the buyer is responsible for 100 % of all transfer/recordation taxes. And more often than not, the buyers of REO properties tend to be cash purchases, so traditional lenders are not available to point out any discrepancies. The second issue with the inflated purchase price on the HUD-1 is that the Deed will only reflect the purchase price agreed to in the contract ( exclusive of the buyer tech fee and buyer premium ) yet Altisource will base Owner 's Title Insurance off the higher purchase price ( inclusive of all XXXX charges ). In my opinion, I think this is the motivation behind the trend. Since commission is almost always fixed ( rather than a percentage ) in these transactions, only the buyer is placed at a financial disadvantage. XXXX offers buyers reduced closing costs if they go with their title company - Altisource, so buyers are inclined to use them. Most recently, I assisted my brother in a REO purchase working with Altisource. When the purchase price appeared too high on the HUD-1, he questioned the processor who pointed to the contract where it states " Total Due from Buyer equals Purchase Price, Buyer Tech Fee and Buyer Premium. '' He questioned them again and the processor agreed to write an addendum stating that the total Purchase Price shall not include the Buyer Premium and Tech fee. My brother was smart enough to know this brought down his closing costs, why would n't this option be available to every buyer if they realized the consequence. I believe Altisource intentionally deceives uninformed buyers hoping they do n't educate themselves on how the inflated purchase price affects them.

Background : In XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX I began falling behind on payments to XXXX XXXX. A substantial balance had accumulated because of recent large unforeseen expenses - vehicle repairs which resulted from our truck being rear-ended. The insurance company unexpectedly denied claims for over XXXX in repairs. We met minimum payments in XXXX XXXX - {$3100.00}, XXXX XXXX - {$3100.00}, XXXX XXXX - {$2300.00}, XXXX XXXX - XXXX, XXXX. XXXX - {$1100.00} and XXXX. {$4300.00}. we were able to meet these obligations only by closing a small IRA and borrowing. The debt situation began to grow serious. The XXXX minimum payment was {$3100.00} and I was unable to pay it. We paid {$500.00}. There were multiple phone calls and conversations with XXXX XXXX. In XXXX I wrote to XXXX requesting that they grant a XXXX month grace period since I had been a customer for over 20 years and had just become eligible for Social Security Benefits ( and would therefore have additional income ). The XXXX SS benefit check would arrive the last week in XXXX and I promised substantial monthly payments from then until the balance was satisfied. I sent a payment of {$1000.00} on XXXX XXXX and, at the end of the XXXX cycle, XXXX XXXX closed the account and sent it to collection. Phone calls from a collection agency began XXXX XXXX, XXXX and repeated multiple times each day. They were all from " unavailable '' or " restricted '' numbers. My XXXX conversation with a representative at " XXXX '' was XXXX XXXX. I sent a letter ( certified return receipt ) requesting that they ceased calling me and send validation / documentation of the debt. I did not receive this documentation so I sent a XXXX request XXXX days later. A short while later ( XXXX XXXX ) I began receiving multiple phone calls from another collection agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX After numerous phone calls ( with a call center in XXXX ) and another letter requesting validation of the debt, I did finally receive the documentation on XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. I then called XXXX and spoke with a representative called, XXXX. We hammered out a verbal agreement. A " settlement '' was not possible because of our limited financial resources. I needed to make payments. They wanted at least 10 % down. I wanted to put {$500.00} down. The end result was an agreement of {$890.00} down ( which XXXX stated he was able to achieve under " hardship " conditions ) and monthly payments of {$430.00} for 36 months. Except the agreement had to be in XXXX parts - 24 months was as long as they would go. We would need a XXXX agreement for 12 months for the remaining amount. There would be no additional interest on what I owed. I stated that I would send in my own payments and ( on legal advice ) not provide a bank account number and allow them to take automatic payments. I also wanted our agreement in writing before I would send in the XXXX payment. I requested information on the " clean slate '' offer XXXX was making. XXXX directed me to call the credit reporting number at XXXX XXXX since XXXX could not determine how XXXX would report this account. XXXX told me that a letter outlining what we discussed would be sent to me and I should call him when I received it. This was on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I waited a week ( XXXX XXXX ) and emailed my mail service to forward mail. The packet arrived on XXXX XXXX but there was no letter from XXXX. I almost immediately began receiving collection calls from another XXXX #. When I returned the calls I had to start all over with a different office /division of XXXX. I reiterated the terms of the agreement that had been achieved. I dealt with XXXX people at this new office ( XXXX XXXX, then XXXX and finally the " supervisor '' XXXX XXXX. They stated that no letter would be sent until I gave them access to my bank account and they had taken the first payment. This was after ( cont. )

My home loan is serviced through XXXX. On Friday XXXX XXXX, 2015, XXXX contracted with Altisource Property Preservation and Inspection, who operate in XXXX New Mexico, to break into my home. At approximately XXXX MST on Friday XXXX XXXX, 2015, I was contacted by my children who advised me that someone had changed the door knob on our front door and had left a notice advising they had entered our home and found it occupied. My children were rightfully frightened. Both my husband and I had to rush home, myself having to leave work early, to determine what had happened. Upon arriving home, we discovered that someone had drilled a hole into our existing door handle to " shatter '' the lock. They left our door knob lying on our porch. They placed a different door knob on our door and actually placed it on backwards to where the turn lock was facing outward and the keyhole lock was facing inward, rendering it pointless as anyone could then just turn the lock and walk into my home. My children had to wait in an unsecured home because of the company. My husband called the number on the notice left by Altisource ( XXXX option XXXX ) and was advised that XXXX had contracted them to break into our home as it was a vacant property. When my husband told them that the property was certainly not vacant, they advised that they would make a note within their system to not come back to our home as it was occupied. I would like to call attention to the fact that our door knob to which we have keys was destroyed by the company contracted to break into our home and we were left with a door knob to which we do not have keys for and we have no idea of who may possibly have the keys. Please understand the serious concerns we are experiencing with the knowledge that someone from that company, or even someone outside of that company ( if the keys have changed hands ), has keys to a door in our home. With that said, I want to be clear that while we recognize that we have been behind in payments, to our knowledge our home has not been foreclosed on, we have not been to any mediations or court hearings regarding our property, we have not received any legal court orders notifying that we must vacate the premises, nor received any court orders citing the right to enter into our home while we still occupy it. While it does not appear that anything was taken from our home, there is indication that the contracted company did walk through our home as we had recently painted a room upstairs and the company took the painters tape left in my daughter 's room and actually used the tape to secure their notice to our door and the left the tape along with our damaged door knob on our porch. There are many serious concerns resulting from the action XXXX and Altisource has taken that I will list even if some are reiterations from above. 1 ) We have received no legal notifications that gives the right to enter into our home 2 ) Despite # 1, the contracted company did enter into our home 3 ) Our children were put at risk by the company 's decision to have someone enter into our home which resulted in an unsecure door 4 ) I had to leave work early to rush home due to our home being broken into 5 ) The company walked through our home looking at our personal belongings and property 6 ) We were left with a door lock that we do not have keys to 7 ) We have no way of knowing who has keys to this unauthorized changed lock 8 ) We have been left with the expense of replacing the lock 9 ) How can we be assured of the legitimacy of this contracted company and how are we to feel confident that they may not return at a later date to burglarize our home? 10 ) How are we to know that XXXX will not contract with a company in the future to break into our home? 11 ) There were no efforts made to address or resolve our concerns by either company.

My name is XXXX XXXX, I am a mother of XXXX children and a soldier in which I have served my country for 14 years. I recently underwent a tumultuous battle with several lenders that were trustees of my mortgage. Back in XXXX I purchased two lots one being given a deed to me after paying a sum to the original owner. The other was financed through XXXX XXXX XXXX back in XXXX of XXXX. This moment was a exceptional one for I finally was on my way of owning something great that would eventually be mine. After about 8 years I underwent a divorce in which the property was split between me and ex-husband. Around XXXX while XXXX he did not make a payment and begin to default the loan. After I return the next year I immediately started to contact to find out whom had the loan. For two years no one from XXXX XXXX XXXX would give me information on who or where I can contact the individuals. My ex husband at that did file three motions to dismiss the case and they all were accepted. However moving foward once I came back to the home in XXXX, I learned that nothing had been resolved. The nightmare began from this point out, I begin to contact the once lien holder XXXX XXXX XXXX whom conveyed to me that XXXX was the new holder of the loan. I contacted XXXX back on XXXX XXXX, XXXX to learn that they would do a modification and try to resolve the matter with me. Around XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX stated that they needed a payment to begin the loan process, the representative in whom I spoke with was XXXX XXXX whom had an XXXX accent. The number in which I called was indeed an XXXX number XXXX. XXXX XXXX I worked with and did a payment of XXXX dollars to over the course of the year in efforts of paying fees requested to do the modification process. In the year of XXXX I learned that all my efforts that I underwent with XXXX was not a success and it was then passed on to XXXX XXXX. I immediately reached out to an individual name XXXX to assist me in resolving the matter yet again. After calling and emailing constantly with no response it was, XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX that stated she could help and was assigned to the case. I begin to think that finally as a consumer someone would be there to help me and I could stay in my home. This was not the answer after a rushed modification in which XXXX XXXX stated she did not have everything. XXXX XXXX moved foward with the foreclosure sale, the date was not disclosed to me until I went on an XXXX site that gave it. Where I contacted a XXXX XXXX XXXX of the law firm whom acted on behalf of XXXX XXXX Bank. He stated that he could see what could be done and call me back, I never got that call this was XXXX XXXX, XXXX around XXXX The proceeding moved forward and I then begin to work with AltiSource in which I spoke with XXXX XXXX. For about a month I made an offer after going back and forth with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX on where the offer was to be made. XXXX XXXX then contacted me back stating that my service in the armed forces did not protect me nor did I have the offer accepted by their investor. She begin to tell me that I needed to removed my belongings from the home and that at the time there was nothing that could be done nor did the investor wish to take my offer of the original price left on the debt. Here I am still will all my kids trying to see if at all possible I can save my home, I feel that the law should protect any service member from undergoing such a injustice act as this not just XXXX XXXX. I am still baffled at the way I have been treated and feel completed exhausted with the injustice I feel has happen to me and my family. I only want to pay the debt through the finance server and remain in my home. Please I am asking that this be known to everyone on the type of practices that the banks do.

I, XXXX XXXX, received a Letter today from XXXX XXXX, XXXX 's Ombudsman. The Letter is dated XX/XX/XXXX. I called the number on the letter, because I do not have an account with XXXX ; and I am glad that I did, because I discovered that someone has been trying to impersonate me ; or XXXX XXXX is LYING ; Either way ; it is a Huge RED FLAG. XXXX in XXXX 's Ombudsman 's Office stated that XXXX XXXX sent the letter as a follow up on a conversation that she said that I had on XX/XX/XXXX. I NEVER HEARD OF XXXX XXXX until I received this letter on today ; XX/XX/XXXX. So what is this person really up to? She is up to FRAUD. I HAVE NEVER AN ACCOUNT WITH XXXX ; and XXXX 's Ombudsman Letter Validates this fact. I received a Letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that Validates that I have NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH XXXX ; and neither has my husband, XXXX. The Letter was from XXXX 's Ombudsman, XXXX XXXX and it stated, " Our records indicate we have not received authorization from the Customer to provide account information to you. Therefore, we are unable to release any information regarding the account. '' ( Letter Attached ) XXXX needed authorization from the Customer to provide account information to me. But this XXXX XXXX claims that she spoke to me ; I AM NOT THEIR CUSTOMER AS THEY VALIDATED, AND NEITHER IS MY HUSBAND. So, why is this person lying? She is lying because of the Criminal Charges of Theft by Conversion-Felony Charges pending. They want to manufacture an Account to cover themselves. We OWN OUR HOME ; and there are No Mortgages or Liens ; and we have NEVER had an account with XXXX ; but according to Altisource Ombudsman, XXXX XXXX ; XXXX 's attorney, XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX, instructed Altisource to break into our home ; making a false claim of foreclosure. It Was a LIE ; just like this XXXX XXXX is LYING. XXXX is known for Stealing Homes using Foreclosure as the front. The Consent Order investigation revealed that manufacturing and filing False, Deceptive, Documents and Affidavits ; flies Illegal Foreclosures and Violates Homeowner 's Rights. Because they are still doing this ; they are being sued by the CFPB AGAIN along with 25 States ; that 's half of the country. The 25 States have also banned XXXX. Massachusetts kicked them our completely. I do n't know the depth of these LIES AND IMPERSONATIONS. Did they try and file false documents with the county, pretending to be XXXX XXXX. They better hope and pray that they did n't. Either XXXX XXXX is Lying or Someone is pretending to be XXXX XXXX ; or BOTH. Impersonation is Identity Theft. I dont know how far these crooks will go. XXXX and Altisource broke into our home ; and attempted to transfer our utilities to their name. Since these crooks went that far ; they are No Limits to what they would do, including impersonate me at the county records signing my name in a Fraudulent Property Transfer. I have already provided the CFPB with the Police Report with Charges of Theft by Conversion-Felony ; but this latest incident may include an additional charge of Identity Theft, a Federal Charge. The Suspect listed on the Police Report is Altisource ; but Altisource Ombudsman, XXXX XXXX named XXXX 's Attorney, XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX, as the person who gave them the instructions to break into our home ; maybe the search for this Impersonator should begin here. I will report it to the Authorities as such.

On XXXX XXXX, 2017, a company called ALTISOURCE broke into our home, changed the locks to a coded lock, ripped up carpet ; broke our front and pantry door and caused over {$7800.00} in damages. They claim that they were given the instructions by XXXX XXXX XXXX Attorney, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; who by the way is no longer handling the case. XXXX 's Ombudsman was not even aware that this had occurred. We own our home with no liens or mortgages ; and has never had an account with XXXX WHATSOEVER. XXXX knows this ; the CFPB knows this ; and most of all the Attorneys who provided this lie knows this. XXXX steals homes using Foreclosure as a front ; and in this case used Altisource is the accomplice. Altisource Ombudsman XXXX XXXX has held up repairing our home for three weeks. He was argumentative with my husband who is a XXXX XXXX XXXX Veteran who gets monthly treatments for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, ( XXXX ). The XXXX of this entire situation is XXXX enough ; but then to have this XXXX XXXX be argumentative ; instead of apologetic ; throwing fuel on the fire is unacceptable. And they have the nerve to say, " Thank you for your Service ''. Give me a break. Altisource was given false information for the sole purpose of stealing our home ; but they got caught. Ciminal charges of Theft by Conversion were filed, but XXXX XXXX still thinks that it is a Civil Matter ; even though he received a copy of the Police report showing Felony Criminal Charges. They were hoping that it was a Civil Matter ; but the Police Officers saw right through their fraud ; and filed criminal charges. Both Altisource and XXXX have been sued for their association with each other. XXXX is nothing but a Fraudulent Collection Company for Mortgages that has already paid XXXX XXXX for their fraudulent acts. Altisource paid XXXX XXXX for their association with XXXX ; and since XXXX XXXX 2017, the CFPB filed suit against XXXX again along with 25 State Attorney Generals ; who also banned them. So, Altisource, XXXX XXXX, and anyone with half of a brain knows XXXX 's history and reputation of stealing homes under the guise of foreclosure. What we experienced is just par for the course for XXXX and Altisource ; and no one should be surprised ; and certainly not defend this non-sense as XXXX XXXX has. There was no foreclosure, we still have our home ; nothing filed in the county records ; and if any fraudulent documents gets filed ; that 's just more evidence ; and additional charges. As previously stated ; the Attorneys who provided the false information ; specifically, XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX, is not handling the case anymore ; it appears that they did their deed and ran away. Baker Donelson Attorneys, XXXX XXXX was given the case ; but they did not know Criminal Charges were pending. Altisource name is listed as the Suspect on the criminal complaint ; because the Police saw their name on the paper on the door ; and after calling and speaking to Altisource Representatives getting conflicting stories and reviewing our evidence, decided to file the complaint of Theft By Conversion against Altisource ; therefore Altisource has the responsibility of repairing our home ; and they will do so.

Hello, After my husband 's death, I contacted the mortgage company to notify them and take on the mortgage payments, but the company refused to talk to me. I wrote them several letters, but they refused to talk to me each time. I consulted a lawyer and he said that I should just wait them out because the mortgage company should have handled the situation properly. I have waited eight years. The property has been maintained by me for the last eight years and now they are trying to take the property. Below is a summary of their actions and my actions : Their Actions : 1. In XX/XX/XXXX, Altisource sent a contractor to preserve the property. The vendor 's name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The vendor changed the locks without notifying us. The only way we found out was a neighbor saw him and thought he was breaking into the house ( which he did in my opinion ). 2. On XXXX XXXX XXXX, the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX visited the property again. They left the house unsecured. The garage was open and the door to the house was wide open. ( Once again, I am thankful for my neighbors who alerted me about the garage door ). 3. Altisource will not provide any documentation or clear answers to myquestions. My last e-mail was XX/XX/XXXX. I have not received a response. 4. Also, I have several documents ( none from Altisource ). The documents do not make sense and I am not getting clear answers. I hope the documents help you understand all the other things that have happened since XX/XX/XXXX. My Actions : 1. I have written and called to inquire about the mortgage payments, debt collection, and " foreclosure ''. I have yet to receive a clear explanation of anything. Altisource will not provide any clear answers or documentation. 2. I called Altisource XX/XX/XXXX. They told me to call XXXX and XXXX told me to call Altisource. Recently when I called Altisource, they told me to call XXXX. I called XXXX. I talked with a phone representative at XXXX. They listened and said they would call me in two days. I have not heard from anyone. I have sent e-mails to Altisource and they respond sporadically. My recent e-mail was XX/XX/XXXX and I have not received a response. 3. I have contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They are rude and will not properly identify themselves. They said they could not talk to me and that I had to call Altisource. Recently, someone named XXXX e-mailed me and wanted to meet at the house on XX/XX/XXXX because he was supposed to give me keys to the new locks he put on the door. I am elderly and I am not meeting someone that e-mails me and demands that I meet them at my house. 4. I have not abandoned this property and have preserved the property since XX/XX/XXXX. 5. I have maintained the lawn. The utilities are still on and operating. I still pay the electricity, water, sewage, and trash bills. 6. I have spent money on other repairs to the house since XX/XX/XXXX. 7. I have paid the taxes on the land. 8. I have paid house insurance since XX/XX/XXXX. The house insurance is up to date. 9. I have done everything that I know to settle this peacefully and legally, but I am getting no where. Please help.

These XXXX party debt collectors/interlopers and Altisource are attempting to steal my property even though this " debt '' was lawfully discharged in a Chapter XXXX in XXXX. I listed the debt as unsecured/disputed which was never challenged by these XXXX party debt collectors. The new " bank '' that is now saying that they have standing to do this did not try and lift the stay, nor did they file any kind of proof of claim. The bankruptcy was lawfully discharged and listed this new bank as being fully discharged. These interlopers did not prove that they are the holder in due course, nor did they have anything filed such as an assignment in the court records in XXXX XXXX XXXX until XXXX. They filed that assignment within days after I filed a Quiet Title action against them in XXXX XXXX XXXX, these documents ( an assignment and substitution of trustee ) were back dated to XXXX XXXX. These XXXX party debt collectors have been harassing me and attempting to seize my property without any proof of having the authority to do so since XXXX. They have attempted to sell my home on XXXX different occasions. They held an unlawful administrative auction on my property on XXXX XXXX XXXX and unlawfully foreclosed. This was done despite the fact that there were XXXX lis pendens filed on the property and there was active litigation with a Petition for Rehear in the Virginia Supreme Court. The " bank '' then e-filed a Trustee Deed stating they " paid '' {$490000.00} but they simply made a book entry and never paid any lawful money. I have asked NUMEROUS times for the full account loan data from the original lender in numerous QWR 's and other correspondence, they have refused to provide this information because they do n't have it. I have received numerous threats, the last one was sent as a Notice of Demand For Possession. In this UNSIGNED threat letter, they state they will start eviction proceedings if I do not vacate the property within 10 days. This letter was UNSIGNED and dated the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have made a formal complaint with the postal service that this is harassment sent through the XXXX. I also plan to make a police report with copies to the XXXX 's office as well. I sent these XXXX party debt collectors an affidavit for them to sign to show they are doing this lawfully - they have not responded. Again, I have asked time and time again for account loan data from original lender and the debt collector refused yet they are continuing to threaten to steal my property. They have also enlisted this company Altisource that has been on my property causing further injury to me and my family. Altisource has called me numerous times and has called relatives and discussed with them our private business, these relatives were as far away as Florida. This is harassment and needs to CEASE AND DESIST until these debt collectors/interlopers can prove they have the authority to foreclose on a unsecured/disputed debt that has been lawfully discharged in Chapter XXXX without any proof of claim otherwise filed.

I ordered a pest removal service from terminix XX/XX/2015. The service I requested consisted of spraying the entire inside of the house, as well as removal of a beehive attached to the outside of the house. The problem is, the service was never provided. A representative of the company came and after seeing the beehive, he said he would be back later that evening, though he never returned. I called XXXX to find out what happened, and was told they saw it was not completed but would reschedule an appointment for the following weekend. i agreed, waited all day on the agreed upon day only to have nobody show up at all. I called the next day, and XXXX apologized for wasting my day waiting, and offered to schedule another date for their representative to come perform the services. They did n't show up to the rescheduled date either, nor did they show up for the next XXXX rescheduled appointments either. Each time I was apologized to but no explanation was given. After all of these missed appointments, and wasted time, I called another exterminator and he performed all of the services needed. i saw that XXXX charged my credit card and called to ask why they had done that if they never performed service. They apologized and assured me they would refund me and correct the error. they never did, so i called my credit card company and had the charge reversed. I started receiving bills from XXXX stating that i owed them a balance of {$270.00} ( for the service they never performed ). I again called them and was assured their mistake would be corrected and I should not worry. They never corrected the mistake, and instead sent it to a collection agency called NCI. After receiving the letter from XXXX claiming I owed a debt, I called XXXX and was told I would need to send them a letter in writing asking for proof of the debt, Which i did within thirty days of receiving their letter. Their proof was a work order from XXXX stating that they sprayed some chemicals outside the house, and in the area where I supposedly signed is a horizontal line. I was not there when they supposedly performed the service as I was receiving treatment for XXXX in XXXX. The signature is fraudulent. Besides that, the services I ordered were primarily for the interior of the house, which they clearly state was not done. ( I would not order the service of removal of a beehive for {$270.00}, which is a ridiculously high amount. My local exterminator quoted the same service for less than {$80.00}, and ended up performing the interior for a total of {$150.00} combined ). After receiving the alleged proof, I attempted many times to contact NCI by phone but was continuously hung up on by their phone system before being able to speak with anyone..

I received a letter today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX from Nationwide, attempting to collect a debt I do not owe. " XXXX '' from Nationwide had called me on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, attempting to collect debt that I do not owe ( please see CFPB complaint, # XXXX ). I informed XXXX that I had filed a complaint against XXXX with the FTC, under the Fair Debit Collections Act ; I told XXXX that her company is to never contact me again about this, and if they do, I will file a complaint against Nationwide. Here is the history, as denoted in the above-mentioned complaint ... On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I called XXXX and spoke with " XXXX '' and cancelled my policy, effective same day. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I realized that XXXX had billed my bank account on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and XXXX/XXXX/XXXX for premiums of {$45.00} each time. I called XXXX, spoke with " XXXX '', who confirmed that XXXX had closed the account on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX but had not deleted my payment information. XXXX put me on hold and then confirmed she had just deleted my payment info. I requested a refund and she said she is unable to do this, that I would need to speak with a different department during office hours. I then called XXXX XXXX XXXX to dispute the charges and request that all future charges be denied as unauthorized. I spent a total of 2 hours on the phone that day. I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX informing me that my dispute was considered valid ( see enclosed ) and crediting my account. Subsequently, I received several letters from XXXX, first threatening to close my ( closed ) policy due to non-payment. Then 2 weeks ago I received a letter threatening to send me to a collection agency. So that day ( XXXX/XXXX/XXXX? ) I called XXXX ; I was on hold for 30 minutes without ever speaking to a representative, before hanging up. During that 30 minute wait, I went online and filed a grievance with the FTC against XXXX for violation of the Fair Debit Collections Act ( Reference # XXXX ). I then drafted a courtesy letter to XXXX to inform them of the grievance ; I mailed it XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I received the Collection phone call from " XXXX '' at Nationwide. Despite my providing her with the above information, and telling her that her company is to never contact me again, and informing her that I would update my grievance with the FTC to include her call, Nationwide has now sent me a statement, for MORE THAN the amount that was initially paid, refunded, and sought. I am now filing this grievance against Nationwide.

First of allow us to make the declaration ; our home is paid in full with No Mortgages or Liens validated by County Records and Title Insurance ; but this Company, Altisource an affiliate of XXXX, broke into our home ; and changed the locks to a coded lock ; destroyed our front door ; and pantry door ; ripped up our carpet in the den and master bedroom, muddied the carpet on the stairs and upstairs ; and transferred our utilities to Altisource Name. We contacted the Police ; and the Police after reviewing the evidence ; and speaking with Altisource and XXXX Reps filed a Felony Charge of Theft by Conversion. XXXX XXXX, Altisource Ombudsman Customer Manager claimed that XXXX 's Attorney, XXXX XXXX was the culprit stating that the property was vacant ; but the yard was manicured and the utilities were on ; so he changed his story to state that was foreclosed on XXXX XXXX, 2017 ; this lie was also debunked. XXXX 's Ombudsman had no knowledge of any foreclosure and this was validated by his letter that stated " They are reviewing the issues raised that was submitted to the CFPB and would respond by XXXX XXXX, 2017. ( Ombudsman Letter attached ). The CFPB email stated, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is reviewing the issues and are requiring 60 days to respond. ( CFPB Letter Attached ) Aside from the fact that we own our home outright and has never had an account with XXXX or Altisource ; and has NEVER paid Ocwen nor XXXX dime. We have no idea what Altisource is ; but know that XXXX is nothing but a Big, Fat, Criminal Collection Company for Mortgages that was sued and ordered to pay 2. XXXX XXXX Dollars and issued a Consent Order by the CFPB ; and has recently been sued again by the CFPB and 25 other states that also has banned them. Neither Ocwen nor XXXX are banks or Lenders yet they think that they can break into someone 's home ; change utilities and take possession ; NOT OUR HOME. Evidence has shown that the CFPB is investigating the Altisource- XXXX Relationship. ( Evidence Attached ) Evidence has shown that the SEC Subpoenaed XXXX over Altisource Associations. ( Evidence Attached ). Evidence has shown that Altisource paid XXXX XXXX to settle a Class Action over its XXXX 's relationship. ( Evidence Attached ). With all of the above ; and much, much, more ; how in the World are these Crooks still operating in America? As Veterans that defended this country ; someone is going to answer that question ; and Altisource is going to PAY to restore our home.

On XXXX XXXX, 2017, I was the highest bidder on a property listed on XXXX. The property address is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MD, XXXX. The house is titled to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and was acquired through foreclosure on XXXX XXXX, 2017. I want to buy this house, but I have no confidence in the sellers ability or commitment to provide an insurable title due to a lien on the house. On XXXX XXXX, 2017, I entered into a contract for the purchase of the house. Per the contract, the seller is listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The document processor, XXXX XXXX, is employed by AltiSource.com. My real estate agent is XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the title company is XXXX XXXX, with XXXX XXXX as the title attorney. The contract specified the closing must take place by XXXX XXXX, 2017, or I would suffer a penalty. I obtained a loan commitment and was prepared to close on XXXX XXXX, 2017 and scheduled closing for XXXX XXXX, 2017 at XXXX XXXX The closing did not take place because the seller could not provide an insurable title because of the pre-existing lien stated above. The seller had been advised that there was a problem with the title by XXXX XXXX several days in advance of the closing. I was advised of the issue on XXXX XXXX, 2017. Attempts were made to resolve it up to the last minute. The original contract extended to XXXX XXXX, 2017, with one additional extension since that date. In total, there have been four closing dates XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and now, XX/XX/XXXX. My interest rate commitment ended on XXXX XXXX, 2017. Ive had to pay {$48.00} per day to keep my interest rate lock in place. I want to know the steps, if they have taken any to this point, to resolve the lien. To this point, XXXX XXXX, the contact point for AltiSource, has provided my relator with no substantial updates. He has failed to give her a plan of action for how they are addressing the lien on the home. XXXX XXXX has also ignored requests from both XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX for additional points of contact and additional details. In the emails provided, XXXX XXXX responds to XXXX XXXX questions about how he and AltiSource are fixing the issue by asking if I want to void my contract.

XXXX. In 2013 I had renters staying in my home for 3 years. When they moved out I needed time to get the place ready to re rent. I chose to do loan modification. Because I am a XXXX XXXX. My husband and I needed to clean the place mow the lawn spray for termites and fleas as it was infested and paint. a company was hired by XXXX called altisource solutions. They broke into my home, they broke sliding glass doors to the kitchen, theback sliding glass doors, the front door, and broke the locks both regular lock and deadbolt off the door and replaced the regular lock and a lock box. This make the property less secure. Once inside they left a sticker on the window and when we called the number had been disconnected so we called the police. They started charging fees. Meanwhile we were in the middle of going through a mortgage renegotiation because it was so high. The home was not vacant nor was it in foreclosure and they had no rights to the property. For 2 years we have been asking to get this resolved! We filed a police report. We called many times only to be told to call and speak to our " relationship manager '' which is a joke as we have had so many of those we cant count. They have added and refuse to remove their " Maintenance '' fees which they never provided any maintenance. Today altisource called stating they tried to contact us in XXXX of 2013 by mail. ( never happened ) and gave me crazy off the wall phone numbers they said were supplied by us LOL! ( I know my own phone numbers and they have n't changed in 2 years ) Yesterday the guy called me and asked if I was the guy who was supposed to be helping me from XXXX. When I said excuse me? He said oh " this is n't XXXX? I do n't think I sound like a XXXX .... He offered to fix the damage and add it to my loan. Can you imagine? His company broke my property and he will buy materials and contract to fix it and charge it to me to pay for so I get XXXX twice. What a happy ending. I pray no one ever has to deal with XXXX or altisource solutions as they wolves in sheeps clothing pretending to be helpful all the while and XXXX as soon as you turn around.

This company is in direct violation of 15 U.S.C 1693 ( f ) and FDIC 6000- Consumer Protection ; TITLE VI - ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS 908 Error Resolution and have refused to pay the Treble Damages demanded for failure to conduct a good faith investigation, provide in writing and results of any investigation and determination within ten business days and still have failed to do so, they have failed to mail any findings or reproduce any documents they used to determine their findings, they have failed to provided the verifed, certified and complete transaction history I requested within ten days. These are all direct volations of this consumer protection title vi - electronic transfer 908 error resolution. I received a bill from this company and went online and paid them three times each amount was for {$2200.00} they stated that no account was found. I faxed them a letter of dispute and requested an audit be conducted and asked them to provide me all documents included the verified, certified and complete transaction history of my account within 10 days ( based off the EFT Act ) or Treble Damages of 3 times the amount of each payment submitted would apply. The company failed to provide any documentation requested nor did they complete a good faith investigation within the 10 day period and provide the documentation from that. By failing to do so this is a violation of the act stated above and I am entitled to the damages requested that come to the amount of {$20000.00}. They also failed to produce their W-9 form as requested on 10 occassions. they also knowingly and willfully concluded that my account was not in error when such conclusion could not reasonably have been drawn from the evidence available to the financial institution at the time of its investigation as they had produced no such documentation to support that finding and this was all done AFTER the 10 days in which they had and also not until I told them I would be filing complaints with the FTC, FDIC, and CFPB. I sent a demand letter for the damages in which they ignored.

I had a home warranty with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have maintained the warranty off and on since I purchased my home in XX/XX/XXXX. The last series of claims were handled very poorly, with problems continuing to persist. A complaint was made to XXXX and I was told repeatedly that it was due to a high employee turnover at the time. As for the service ... It appears they bandage mechanical issues, rather than repair the source ... causing ongoing issues, creating more revenue from deductibles. I decided I needed time to shop around for another home warranty before I paid any more premiums. I was under no contract, and was told multiple times, over the course of the business relationship, that a cancellation notice was never needed. If I no longer wanted their services, I simply stopped paying. That is what I did. I received a letter from Nationwide Credit , Inc stating that they are collecting a debt of {$180.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX! So XXXX continued to bill be for FOUR MONTHS, then turned it over to collections. I have had ZERO claims since the last series that was handled so poorly in the fall of XX/XX/XXXX. This is a complete racket!! I should not owe this amount. And if I do n't take care of the " debt '', my credit score will suffer. That I can not afford ( a drop in credit score OR the debt ). I am a single mother with XXXX children, receiving no support from the non-custodial parent or anyone else, just recently in XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ... ..I should NOT owe this debt. When I have tried to contact their billing department, the recording says the wait time is greater than one hour. Not surprised, considering their new business practice. When you try to contact their SALES department, there is ZERO wait time, but they will not answer my billing questions. This home warranty company needs to be closed down. Please contact me to discuss my options. XXXX XXXX XXXX Contract ID : XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX Nationwide Credit, Inc Account Number : XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX

On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I received in the U.S. mail a one page letter from " XXXX '' credit reporting company in XXXX, Georgia that even with my final Divorce Court Order decree dated around XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX Court Case number XXXX XXXX awarding 100 % of my former single family residence to my now ex-wife effective immediately, " XXXX '' refused to " Delete '' the " Foreclosure '' negative entry off of my " XXXX '' credit report after my now ex-wife stopped paying HER mortgage sometime in XXXX. " XXXX '' told me to contact the former mortgage lender named " XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' out of XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida. I did so in writing. On or aroundXX/XX/XXXX, I received a two page letter from " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, '' dated " XX/XX/XXXX. " XXXX '' instructed me that in order to get a " Legal Binding Release '' form to remove the negative " Foreclosure '' entry off of my " XXXX '' credit report that I had to contact their 3rd party " Real Estate Owned ( REO ) '' private contractor by the name of " Altisource Portfolio Solutions, S.A. '' out of XXXX, Georgia, which is a publically traded company on XXXX as listed : " XXXX '' ( now trading at about {$27.00} per share as of this writing ). And I also did so in writing. On XX/XX/XXXX-Tuesday-XXXX, I faxed and then mailed a 5 page letter to " Altisource Portfolio Solutions, S.A. '' via regular U.S. mail postage. For nearly 3 weeks I heard nothing back from " Altisource Portfolio Solutions, S.A. '' So this time I mailed out a 2nd copy to them via the U.S. Postal Service 's " Certify Mail, Return Receipt Requested '' service on XXXX XXXX-Friday-XXXX. The company " signed '' for my letter about 4 days later but still did NOT respond. So I called them on their company 's toll free number on XX/XX/XXXX and they said that they HAD mailed out a written response. Yet here it is on XXXX XXXX-Friday-XXXX and I still have NOT received their so-called written response. Thus, I need help from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. "

We closed on our home on XXXX XXXX, 2015, signed a HUD statement and loan documents, wired funds to the title company, were given keys to the home and told we were closed and could move in. XXXX hours after closing, we had to go back and resign a HUD, and the statement reflected we were to be reimbursed money, which we still have n't received to this date. On or about XXXX XXXX, 2015, we were contacted by XXXX XXXX at XXXX Mortgage Company, who stated they received their loan proceeds funds back that day, even though she has signed loan documents in her file. XXXX then proceeded to tell me we needed to sign an early occupancy and extended closing date form and that all would be good to go. On or about XXXX XXXX, I was contacted by my real estate agent informing me that we needed to move out immediately because there was a mix up between our lender and title company and that we did not technically close as the deed still has not been filed. On or about XXXX XXXX, I learned that my lender sent our loan funds to the wrong company, being a sister company of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the sister company never sent those funds to the XXXX GA branch. Therefore the title company never recorded the deed or mortgage documents. However, we have been living in the home since XXXX XXXX, 2015, and no one ever contacted us to say there was an issue before XXXX XXXX or that we needed to move out until on or about XXXX XXXX. No one has ever refunded our funds we wired to the title company, where is that money? Dry closings are supposed to be illegal in the State of Nebraska, had the laws been followed, we would n't have been able to close, as that title company did not have the funds in their account, only mine and my husbands funds were in their account. My lender will now not provide me with any documentation, ignoring my phone calls and that I need to talk to her boss, who will not return phone calls either. Now, my family is out on the street until something is resolved.

Hello, my client and I are having difficulty submitting offer for properties that are being auctioned and sold through XXXX, com due to their restriction of non-acceptance of debit card. XXXX only allows credit card and will not accept debit card and therefore borrowers with good credit scores, adequate and sufficient down payment and qualified for financing and / or cash byer but do not have credit card to post on XXXX are being discriminated against and are precluded from biding on properties being auctioned and sold on their platform ( XXXX ). My client and I have lost out on numerous properties that I sent offers on and were told that my offers will not be reviewed unless we go through their auction portal. I have called XXXX at ( XXXX ) XXXX to see if they could make an exception, but after speaking to one of their supervisor by the name of XXXX XXXX ( Last name initial ) who adamantly reiterated that XXXX will not make the exception to accept debit card. These properties are being marketed on a public platform such as the local mls and therefor, everyone should be given the opportunity to participate in the purchase of such property most especially if the buyer have the cash to make such purchase or even if it's a loan purchase. There are other online auction platform that accept debit cards, but unfortunately are not the platform for the properties my client is interested in. My client and I have lost our on properties that could have been theirs only to be prevented from participating.

Dear CFPB, I am writing to you because im trying to purchase my home, its been such a nightmare dealing with Altisource/XXXX because they are the listing agent, escrow office and the title company. After my offer was accepted as being financed, i received a call from my agent telling me that a representative from Altisource/XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) called to let her knowthat my offer will be cancel because the purchase was not Cash. So i called back XXXX and she never answer my calls, i requested for a manager and i spoke to XXXX XXXX who told me that it is not on the best interest of the seller to sell the home to me. So i was so confused since her response did n't make any sense. i told XXXX XXXX that my offer since day 1 was a financed offer and it was not fair that after i had paid for home inspections and a home appraisals. Altisource/XXXX decided to cancel on me because it was not on the best interest to sell me the house. Now as of today 3 weeks later i got a call from my loan officer telling me that another mortgage company called him asking to provide a copy of my appraisal that i paid for because the property is being sold to another buyer who is purchasing the house FHA. I believe this is not right, i feel that Altisource/XXXX is discriminating me since they are trying to cancel my offer to give it another buyer after we had a signed contract showing that my offer was accepted as financed offer. Please help this is not right for me and my family. XXXX XXXX

I have filed several complaints with the CFPB to no avail. I recently discovered that if the complaint receives a response it is considered closed. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX foreclosed in spite of rectifying the accounts servicing and other illegal fees. ( XXXX. ) They proclaimed they only offered representation and forwarded my complaint to XXXX. 3. They state an inspection was completed XX/XX/XXXX and the property was determined vacant and was secured. The property was not vacant, I was out of town for the holiday abd neighbors were watching the house for me. Upon my return I was unable to gain access to my home. I notified Altisource who was responsible for the lock, The XXXX County Sheriff, the XXXX XXXX Police, Congressman XXXX and the attorney general. The verified the lock was placed XX/XX/XXXX. 4. First, the problem was not with XXXX XXXX XXXX, it was the seller ( Altisource ) and the Title Agency ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). From the beginning I felt it was like a shell gave, every email was from a different person, based in XXXX, and the company name was different. I was scheduled to close on XXXX XXXX, 2015. Due to lack of response from the title company ( which I was forced to use due to the online foreclosure purchase process ) the settlement statement to XXXX for final approval was sent late thus missing the scheduled close date. The Close of Escrow was XXXX/XXXX/15 they did n't get the statement to XXXX till late on the XXXX. Then the loan docs were not received by the notary for my signing till XXXX on the XXXX. In the meantime I had wired my closing funds and XXXX wired the remainder of funds the same day. By the time they actually recorded the deed and closed the transaction it was XXXX/XXXX/15 six days late. Then they did not return my excess closing funds for another five days. Lastly, the costs the Title Company charged were significantly higher than the local companies charge. The inability of the title company cost me, they delayed my ability to move in on time, causing me to stay in a hotel since I had packed my belongings and was out of my apartment and I had to pay interest from the XXXX to the XXXX on the loan on a home that I did not own at the time.

I, XXXX, received XXXX collection letters from Nationwide credit Inc. where they are showing the bar code in plaint view for anyone to see. To be clear here, I choose " Communication Tactics '' and choose the third option " Used, obscene, profane or other abusive language. '' I could not find an exact description of my issue with respect to the Bar Code. Showing the " Bar Code '' is a FDCPA violation of section 1692f ( 8 ). And in their first letter I received from them, they are violating the FDCPA by only allowing me XXXX options to resolve my account. SECURE ONLINE PORTAL, PAY BY MAIL, and PAY BY PHONE. It is like I have no other option but the XXXX that are given to me. Then they reverse themselves and tell me " Unless you notify this office within thirty ( 30 ) days after .... '' This of course is my mini-miranda rights. This is also a violation of the FDCPA and Texas Finance Code. They have been sued in the past for the very same things they have done to other consumer. Just recently XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX., the same bar code matter went before the court and the Defendant debt collector lost in the Memorandum that came out in XX/XX/2015. Today I was contacted by Nationwide Credit Inc stating that I owe a bill in the amount of {$220.00} regarding terminix. I contacted terminix on several attempts and as of today 's date I have never received a corrected bill from their accounting office in order to pay what is owed. Every time I call their office it is a difference amount than what is on the original bill and as of today 's date this collection is also for a different amount than what they have stated I owed. I can not pay a bill if a company is not sure of what I owe nor can a bill be paid when I have never received a corrected copy in order to pay it. I was advised that I would receive a discount on my bill for customer loyalty and as of today 's date that has never been discounted and also I have never received a bill that showed the corrected amount to pay. Today I received a bill from Naitonwide Credit advising I needed to pay {$220.00}. I have never owed {$220.00} to this company and do not know where this amount has been calculated from and what for it has now became a form of blind payment system. Throwing money on a bill and never receiving or paying more than what is owed in order to satisfy a greedy company that does not live up to what they said you owe and for services that have not been rendered.

I have been receiving repeated phone calls from XXXX XXXX regarding a corporate card charge with an original balance of {$1300.00} with an additional {$150.00} in interest and fees. This was a legitimate business expense that had been charged on the same day of an illegal termination that the corporation illegally refused to pay. I won a legal settlement which included compensatory damages because of this illegal termination. During the time I have been involved in litigation, I have not paid this debt. Although I did, in fact, explain the situation in depth to XXXX customer service, XXXX did not care and reported this to a collection agency. This agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, has called me repeatedly regarding this. I started getting calls from debt collectors stating that I owed money for various credit cards. The credit cards were from XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I was extremely confused but they threatened that if I did not pay the debt then it would ruin my credit score. Of course, out of fright, I decided to start making payments on these large bills. Most of the bills were over {$1000.00}. So i tried to settle the accounts as much as I could. Upon moving across the country, I did n't have a job, so the debt collectors called me again and threatened that I had to pay and if i did n't then all of my payments that I made previously would not even matter. They would hand the account off to another debt collecting company and I 'd have to start all over. I am at my wits end. I have tried to pay but this debt was not mine to begin with. Around 2012, I dealt with identity theft and had to switch banks and take several steps to make sure my money was protected. Now, I 'm dealing with it all over again. My credit score is in the pits and I can not take out any loans for school or otherwise.

I'm getting debt collectors calling almost every day asking to collect on a card that doesn't belong to me and isn't under my name. Sometimes they ask for a different person 's name, sometimes they don't say anything and just hang up. This started happening right after I got a car loan. I have a second mortgage loan that was charged off in 2009 in the amount of {$29000.00}. At the onset the loan was owned by XXXX XXXX whom I modified the loan with. Due to the charge off portion of the loan, XXXX maintains a lien on the property. I contacted XXXX to settle the debt through the sale of the property. XXXX informs me that they have sent the loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who now tells me that they have sent the loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX for servicing. XXXX informs me that the debt is now {$45000.00} to settle. There has been n o explanation of any escalation in charges and the companies are now blocking the sale of the property to see my bank records, tax statements ect. I am trying to settle the debt in full and need to see the escalation in charges and neither of the companies are cooperating. Even attempting to settle at the inflated amount, the companies are not cooperating without wanting to see all of my personal information. Neither company has validated the debt after I sent letters to each of them requesting a validation.

Nationwide Credit is acting illegally and unethically in dealing with a debt. Their license in CA must be pulled for unethical behavior. At issue is the fact that we are trying to do a short sale. CA law forbids contribution to junior lien holders in a short sale. Nationwide, the junior lien holder, is trying to receive a significant contribution which is illegal. To make matters worse Nationwide a division of XXXX very well knows that their parent company 's policy is pay junior lien holders 8 % of their outstanding debt on a short sale. This is the amount being owed to the owner of the debt and their parent company XXXX. XXXX only pays 8 % they can receive 8 % too. What 's good for the goose is good for the gander. Try to illegally play a shell game and move this debt to their Nationwide department does not obsolve them of the requirement of receiving 8 % of their pay off for the short sale only! Nationwide/XXXX must issue an approval letter ASAP to match the amount notated on the first lien approval letter attached.

I started receiving emails in XXXX of 2015 from XXXX regarding update of credit card associated with an account for which I had made a purchase. I had been reviewing my checking account and noticed that the funds were being taken out so I disregarded the emails for those couple months. My balance had been pain off ; However, I was still receiving these emails. I followed up with XXXX and was notified that there was an additional account in my name and address for merchandise that I had not purchased. I notified the rep that this was not a purchase made by me, and she agreed that the card and name on the card used did not match my account name, although it did not match my address. I later received notice from a collection agency regarding this matter. I followed up with the collection agency and let him know that this was not a purchase made by me. They notified me that the only thing they can do is receive payment on the debt that is in my name, they can not change any names or transfer debt.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX stating:1. That this debt was discharged by XXXX. 2. All Charges were removed. 3. I have since been receiving collection letters from a Nationwide Credit , Inc. on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX attempting to collect on this debt. I assumed the first XXXX letters, even though they were one day apart in their creation, were so close to the date of the discharge that Nationwide Credit , Inc. had not been notified of the decision by XXXX. When I received the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, I can only assume that Nationwide Credit is illegally collecting on this debt.

I told them at that time that I wanted to cancel and then they told me that I was in a contract and could not cancel. I had never agreed to that. I told them that I did not owe them and that I wanted to cancel. I received a call last week from a collection agency called XXXX XXXX XXXX trying to collect on this debt. I explained to them the problem and they stated that they will continue to try and collect. XX/XX/2018 Today, I tried to resolve a credit card issue with XXXX XXXX and their Collection Agency, XXXX XXXX. My mothers account was canceled several months ago. The statements were being sent to a different address than hers in Florida. XXXX XXXX said they sent the account to their collection agency for non payment. I called the Collection Agency and tried to resolve the matter and the collection agency wanted to speak with my mother who is XXXX XXXX XXXX. They started arguing with her and harassing her and demanding to get her bank routing number. I told her not to give it because they would not send any records of her charges and dates. They demanded to get her bank routing number and would not even take a credit card # to pay the outstanding balance. I am filing a complaint against XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX for treating customers this way, especially vulnerable elderly people.

I received a letter in the mail on XX/XX/19 from a collection agency with a debt from XXXX. The product purchased was mistakenly placed on XXXX XXXX by XXXX as I did not order it that way which caused the last two payments to go unpaid due to a credit card change. I spoke with the collection agency, the agency put the debt in dispute as I was never contacted by XXXX to resolve said debt. I spoke with XXXX and they claimed they made calls and sent letters that were never received. I requested copies of the letters they claimed to have sent and was refused. The debt was paid at the time of the call to XXXX on XX/XX/19. Had they contacted me this would have been resolved without the use of a collection agency. Their use of a collection agency without attempt to contact me directly can potentially affect my credit.

I was unable to speak with anyone in debt about the account because my information didn't match the information they had on file.
