The bill collector originally called my father and the message was passed on to me that this person keeps calling even after my father communicated that it was wrong number.
I called office and someone just answered with " hello. '' I had communicated that someone was trying to call me and that I did n't know where I was calling. The female then transferred my call to the collector.
I gave the gentleman my name and told him that they needed to remove my dad 's number from their system. He then cut me off and asked if my dad 's name was XXXX. I did n't want to give my dad 's info so I did n't answer and told him to take out number. The collector then said " Your father said he did n't even know you, just thought you should know that. '' I was taken back and asked what the point of his statement was and he just said " well, just thought you 'd like to know that he said that. '' Then he asked me if I remember seeing a Doctor back in 2015. I said, " I saw a lot of doctors. '' Then, without even verifying any more info, he completely disclosed what the bill was, who it was for and asked how I wanted to pay it. I said " Yo 're not even going to verify last 4 of my social? '' He then replied " you already verified yourself as XXXX but I have the full thing in front of my face '' " Last four XXXX and then gave me my birthday ... Then asked again, how I wanted to pay the bill or was I refusing to pay. I explained that he did n't give mini miranda or call disclosure and did n't properly verify my info. He laughed and asked if wanted to complain to a manager. I agreed and spoke to manager. Again, without disclosing who I was, he tried to get me to pay my bill. They did n't verify anything or disclose anything.
