In XX/XX/XXXX a severe wind storm damage the roof on our house. Initially the insurance company denied our claim, but after retaining a lawyer we were able to settle with the insurance in XX/XX/XXXX. The settlement check was made payable to us and our loan services, Allied Mortgage Group ( NMLS # XXXX ). When we contacted the services they said to just mail them the check, they would endorse it and return it to us. We followed these instructions but heard nothing from the services for 2 weeks. In the meantime we enter into a contact with a reputable roofing company. We finally contacted the services again, and was transfer to their loss-drafts department. The employee of this department after finding our check informed us that since it was more than {$10000.00} ( it was for {$15000.00} ) they would need to monitor the claim. The check was returned to us for endorsement together with various document to be signed by us and our roofing contractor. We completed all the paperwork and return it to the services in late XX/XX/XXXX. Again we heard nothing from the services for several weeks. We again contacted the servicer and were told that they had not received the contracts Lien Release, which we were certain they had, but nonetheless we forwarded them another copy. The servicer gave us a call to say they had all the documents they needed and to go ahead and schedule the roof replacement. We did so, and the roof was replaced in early XX/XX/XXXX. We call the servicer, or more rightly tried to call the servicer regarding next steps, and found that the number we had been using was no longer in service. We finally had to go back to the agent that originated the loan to get a good contact number for the servicer. We were then informed that their loss drafts department had moved and had a new number. ( at this point I would like to interject that what I really believed happened was that the Mortgage Loan Servicer had sub-contracted their insurance processing and they had changed sub-contractors ) We called the new number and the employee told us the could find no record of our prior paperwork, but did know the had our {$15000.00}. In the meantime our contractor need to be paid, so we paid him with funds from other sources. This was XX/XX/XXXX. Thereafter we went back and forth resending documents scheduling and rescheduling inspection for the next three months with this company before they finally sent us a check for the escrowed funds. At this point I need to note that we are snow birds the house that was damaged is in XXXX but we generally spend the summer months at our second home in XXXX. The check we received in XXXX was sent to us in XXXX and was made payable to us and the roofing contractor jointly, despite the fact we had provided proof that we had already paid the contractor. We contacted the servicer again and asked them to reissue the check to us solely. My complaint is that this servicer never answers the phone or return phone call or response to email or letters. It is now mid XXXX and this servicer has had our funds since XXXX the repairs were completed and paid for since XXXX. The servicer will not respond to our request to release the escrowed funds to us and there is no longer any legal reason for them to hold the funds except to used them for their own cash flow problems. The property address is : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Fl. XXXX and our loan number is XXXX. XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX

We believe Allied Mortgage Group is running a scam to steal " fees '' from loan applicants and not delivering loans. 1. We applied for a {$200000.00} re-finance mortgage on a house worth {$600000.00} with Allied Mortgage Group approx early XX/XX/2019. 2. We submitted, in a timely manner, all income documentation required, W2s, income taxes, pay stubs, ... 3. Allied set up a home appraisal and charged us {$500.00}. 4. Allied 's appraiser appraised house in the current condition at {$600000.00}. We are in the process of upgrading the home with some of the updates " in process ''. The appraiser said the value will be higher when our updates are complete. 5. Allied, XXXX XXXX, told us the mortgage was near completion in early XX/XX/2019 and we'd get our funds by mid XXXX. 6. Mid XXXX, XXXX said that a deck repair in the front of the house was a " safety issue '' and prevents the closure. The repair cost {$30.00} in material and 2 hours of labor, which is negligible on a {$600000.00} house and has no impact on the appraisal value. 7. We had to rush ( in the snow ) to complete this repair to satisfy Allied. 8. Allied then wanted to charge and additional {$200.00} for an appraisal update for this {$30.00} repair. We had already paid {$500.00} for the appraisal and were starting to get the feeling that Allied was running a scam to collect fees from consumers without ever actually issuing any loans 9. I emailed XXXX and told him our concerns about the illegal, non-disclosed fees and our concerns about being scammed for fees and not ever getting the loan we applied for. 10. XXXX ignored our contacts ( phone, email ). When I was finally able to get him to answer his phone, he was rude, obnoxious and verbally abusive to me and then hung up, very unprofessional and rude. 11. I tried to get XXXX to roll the additional, undisclosed fees into the loan amount instead of forcing us to pay up front ( for fear that they would collect fees and never deliver the loan ) 12. XXXX cancelled the loan request, but denied refunding the fees we paid them claiming they can keep anything they want. XXXX and Allied are basically holding consumers XXXX and forcing them to pay undisclosed fees for trivial reasons. It seems they are scamming people out of fees for profit and not delivering loans. We feel scammed and cheated by Allied Mortgage and the loan officer XXXX. The mortgage we applied for is only 1/3 the value of the house we are re-financing. Our income is approximately 6 times the required amount ( per 28 % rule ) for the {$200000.00} loan requested. The only reason Allied declared for refusing the loan is a {$30.00} deck repair ( which is already completed ), and therefore doesn't make sense. I did a refinance loan with Allied Mortgage Group ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, PA XXXX ( phone XXXX ). I closed on the loan on XX/XX/2019. At closing XXXX XXXX XXXX representative told me you get a month off ( no mortgage payment for XXXX. ) I get a text from my previous lender ( XX/XX/XXXX) on XXXX XXXX stating my mortgage payment is still due XX/XX/XXXX. To my surprise I called XXXX the to inquire about this payment that was due {$990.00}. Turns out XXXX received the wrong payoff amount from Allied Mortgage Group and XXXX XXXX title. XXXX tried to reach out to both Allied Mortgage Group and XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX. They received no response back and they returned the payoff check back to XXXX XXXX XXXX. So from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX I'm being charged extra interest in sum of {$380.00} from my old lender XXXX because the loan is still open. Not until XX/XX/XXXX did Allied Mortgage and XXXX XXXX resend adequate funds get the loan closed with now a higher pay off amount because of acured interest. 1. How did Allied Mortgage Group give the wrong payoff amount to the my previous lender XXXX? Why was the payoff amount not verified? 2. Why was the correct contact number and contact names for Allied Mortgage Group or XXXX XXXX XXXX not supplied to XXXX in case of a major issue like this one. XX/XX/XXXX I the customer had to notify Allied Mortgage and XXXX XXXX that my loan did not close and i was charged a extra {$380.00} in interest. Allied Mortgage Group and XXXX XXXX XXXX negligence has cost me a higher payoff ( XXXX extra ) that was not even disclosed anywhere on my closing contract. They are stealing money from me if they do not refund me the amount of {$380.00}.

I received my escrow analysis in early XXXX from my mortgage company ( Allied Mortgage ) which indicated a shortage of over {$4000.00}. This was not only due to a {$1000.00} increase in my hazard insurance ( which is beyond Allied 's control ) ; but also due to them not collecting enough at closing. This shortage increased my payment by over {$300.00} a month. I understand things happen ; however I am terribly concerned that I will not be able to pay my mortgage. I reached out to Allied Mortgage on XX/XX/21 requesting the shortage be spread out over 4 or 5 years. They advised me that they will submit a request to the investor ( FHA ). I have been following up with them at least once a week requesting updates. With each call I get a different answer. Some representatives indicate this request does not require approval and others say it does. Each representative promises to call me back within 48 hours ; however none of them do. During my most recent call today, they advised me that they have reached out to me. This is absolutely not true ( I confirmed they have the correct contact information ). I received one call from them several weeks ago around XXXX in the evening ; but they hung up before I could answer ( two rings ). My mortgage is now 6 days past due and I still do not have any answers. I filed a complaint with the CFPB about this company earlier this year as they did not pay my taxes and insurance in a timely fashion which caused my insurance to cancel. I have never experienced such ineptitude.

I made an inquiry about mortgage refinance online through XXXX XXXX and was contacted by XXXX XXXX from Allied Mortgage Group. After many emails from him I asked what information did he needed to move forward. He replied with some questions which I answered to the best of my ability. However he didn't asked me for my SSN and never indicated he would do a credit inquiry on my credit report. I was under the impression that with the few questions I've answered, he would be able to give me a pretty good idea of what to expect in which he did but, after he realized I was not a veteran he apologized for the confusion and said that based on my income he would not be able to assist. I questioned if perhaps a HELOC was a possibility but never got an answer. Instead I got an alert about the credit report. He never disclosed any guidelines about credit inquiry nor did he obtained my consent or permission for it. With this complaint I intend to have the credit inquiry withdrawn along with any personal information I may have provided to XXXX XXXX and Allied Mortgage Group and it's affiliated Companies. I've only communicated with XXXX XXXX over emails which I can forward them if needed.

This is a continuation of my last complaint against Allied Mortgage Group. This mortgage company continues to have difficulty with properly calculating our appropriate payment at a 2.8 % interest rate, which is alarming. When I have notified them in the past of errors in their calculations, they were rude and dismissive. We have always paid on time. Last month 's statement said no payment was due. This month 's statement says we have paid $ XXXX YTD and that {$17000.00} remains unapplied. While I would like to accelerate the payment process, it is uncomfortable to send principal only payments since all calculations have been incorrect since the inception of the loan, per their last explanation on this site. There are no pre-payment penalties, but it feels like we are being penalized with this incorrect accounting. I request that all overage be returned to us so that we can either shop for a competent lender or send it in as a principal payment once the current errors have been corrected. When I explained to Allied today what my statement shows, I was asked to provide proof ; another alarming issue, because how do they not see the statement they sent out? Please assist.

I contacted XXXX XXXX and got a list of their recommended mortgage lenders. I spoke to a few companies and chose Allied Mortgage, as they offered the best terms. I followed all of their steps, completed all requested paperwork, and all of that was finished on XX/XX/2022. I hadnt heard anything for r at least three weeks, so I emailed the agent I first dealt with, as well as the person in underwriting. I was told they were still working on it. I expressed concern with having it resolved before XX/XX/XXXX, when the prime rate was raised. I emailed and called several times, but was told on XX/XX/XXXX that they would not give me the loan without a co-signer. I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX woman with excellent credit, and they valued my home at {$510000.00}. I was trying to borrow {$300000.00}. I was asked to provide {$11000.00} in savings, but sent proof in excess of {$45000.00}. They kept delaying this denial until it was too late for me to submit to another lender before the rates increased. I receive a state pension, as well as Social Security, so perhaps this is ageism. Waiting six weeks for an eventual denial indicates fraud, in my opinion.

I spoke to the mortgage company mid XXXX to inquire why my mortgage payment was increasing so much. They stated it is due to my escrow shortage. I let them know they have the wrong amount for my taxes which was the same issue they had last year. They have my taxes at {$5500.00} which they paid last year on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. A refund was issued for {$3700.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. They still have my incorrect tax amount and have significantly increased my payment. My correct tax amount is {$1800.00}. They will not review the most recent bill that is published on the tax website because they stated it was too old. I then provided an estimate directly from the county which they said they will not take because it is only an estimate. I was told the earliest they would resolve this is sometime in XXXX. This has caused my monthly mortgage payment to increase over {$400.00} dollars. The only resolution they offered was to stop my auto payment and wait till resolution. This is causing a large financial hardship with no resolution. I have already made two payments over the amount.

I am in market shopping to Re-finance my mortgage. I spoke to a lender- Allied Mortgage Group ( https : //www.alliedmg.com ) on XX/XX/2020 exploring details on what offers do they have available. The representative took some details regarding my Annual compensation, current mortgage details and property location. We NEVER spoke about running credit check. On XX/XX/2020, I get a notification through a credit monitoring app that a credit inquiry was made on me by Allied Mortgage Group. I never authorized the company to make any inquiry on my credit, and they ran an unauthorized check. When I reported the discrepancy to the representative, he used profanity and abused me on phone and text message.

This company sold my information after applying for a mortgage with them. I put in an application on XX/XX/2023 and immediately began receiving XXXX calls a day on my phone at my place of employment and also on my personal phone from various lenders across the United States soliciting my business. Upon looking into it further, there is a link in small print on the application stating that I do not want the lender to sell my information.
