My husband, mother, and brother were all contacted looking for me. They spoke to my husband in great detail about my debt. I received a voicemail today stating that they would proceed with financial judgement and told me this would affect my ability to be employed or get a bank account.
I closed a bank account in XXXX of 2020 with Georgia XXXX XXXX XXXX.
Before I closed the account, I paid XXXX {$18.00} for a web subscription.
According to Allied Consulting, the check processing company that XXXX uses, ( XXXX ) paid XXXX. They allegedly waited one week before withdrawing the funds from my account. When they tried to withdraw funds for themselves, they were notified the account was closed. Since my XXXX account was up to date, I never received notification that XXXX had not been paid. XXXX never contacted Georgia XXXX XXXX XXXX or me. They sent my {$18.00} charge into collections.
They claimed XXXX sold this debt to Allied Consulting, and that they tried to send a letter to an old address for me notifying me about this debt. I did not receive any communication about this debt.
XXXX from Allied Consulting stated I owed {$260.00}, but could settle today for {$100.00}.
They threatened me and said that if I didn't pay the {$100.00}, they would file a financial judgement today and I would incur up to {$700.00} in attorney 's fees. I paid the {$100.00} to get them to stop calling my family.
Georgia XXXX XXXX XXXX has NO RECORD of XXXX attempting a transaction from the dates they mentioned.
My Credit Report shows no records of a debt from Allied Consulting.

I have credit monitoring and its been active for several years. A company called ACS has left threatening messages on my phone and my parents phones. In the recordings they say I owe an outstanding debt ( I dont ) and this is going to impact my employment. The number they call from is XXXX and XXXX. Here is a transcript of the messages : This message is for XXXX XXXX ACS has tried to contact you on several occasions it is to be assume there are no intentions on a voluntary resolution is not the case we would need to hear from you prior to this affecting any employment in our bank accounts at XXXX once again the number is XXXX

Allied consulting service continue to call and text my phone and my husband phone. We do not have an account with them and have never had an account with them. We have good credit. My husband is an XXXX vet XXXX years and he has had a XXXX. I am his legal caregiver. We are constantly harassed. I have asked them verbally to stop calling. I have called them and provided both numbers to stop calling and they still call and send text messages. I was hung up on when I asked them to stop calling. Today I sent them a message on their website and provided both number and asked them to stop calling.
