I explained to her that they are the 5th agency calling me about this debt and i told her it was paid to another agency in XXXX. He said what do you want. I stated well I just received a call from here and he interrupted me saying. I didn't call you. I stated well your company did. he stated i see we have already talked to you and you refused to pay so we are moving forward with filing these charges against you so what do you want. i stated you yall called me. he stated no I didn't call you and you have already told us you aren't going to pay then he hung up. i called again talked to another woman and i told her what had just happened and that I wanted my number removed because of how they were treating me and how i had already asked for a cease and desist. she hung up. i called 3 more times and and they would answer and hang right up. on the 4th time a woman said. Lady we removed your number and hung up. i feel very threatened by what they did to me and my XXXX and XXXX XXXX was through the roof. they keep doing this to me over and over.

The company said the name of the company I owed was XXXX XXXX.. I have never heard if this company nore have I ever took a loan from this company. I asked the gentleman his name he would not give me it I asked what was the address and phone number to the so called company that I owed this money to. He could not give me any of this information. I continued to ask what the address to his company was and he would not give me that information as well. When I told him I have paid off all debts and had receipts if the company I took a loan out for he started calling me a XXXX and a XXXX and said he was going to keep calling my phone until the company closes for the day.. he then turned around and called my phone 7 times after the call. I called back and spoke with a so called supervisor and he said he can't help me with any of the information I was asking the other gentlemen for and I can go to the court on my court date on Thursday.. keep in mind I haven't been subpoena to go to any kind of court date.. im pretty sure this call is a scam. And would like to report this so some one who doesn't keep track of their finances falls for this trap and ends up losing money that is truly not owed to someone The phone number and name for this company calling me was called alliance recovery and phone number is XXXX

I keep getting phone calls from a company that never identifies themselves in the message. They call from a local number but give a XXXX number to call with a reference number. I believe they called and left same number last year saying something about my ssn being used in some type of fraud. Sure its bogus. I often access my credit report nothing different than what I expected. In recent weeks they have left many phones messages for me again never identifying themselves or who they are calling for. Then earlier this week they called my place of employment and asked for. They gave one of my co workers a message with phone number and a reference number only. Now this made me angry because I dont know who they are, Ive never received any bills or documentation, and now they are calling my job. I finally called the number to try and find out who they are. I had to ask the person a few times before they said the name which is Alliance Recovery. Ive never heard of them or received any bills or documentation from them. The messages that they have left lately say something like we have attempted to call and may attempt to serve you at home or work. Im not communicating with someone who is purposely concealing their identity. Its on the news ever day about people being scammed into paying people who use these exact tactics. They should be held accountable for them whether they are legitimate or not.

I began receiving calls for a young lady that I dont know, and has never owned my phone number around XX/XX/2020. Alliance Recovery would send and automated message for this person stating that they had a judgment against that person and they needed to resolve it prior to serving this person with papers. I followed the prompts to speak with someone to be removed from the callin list, as I was NOT this person. The First Lady I spoke to around XX/XX/XXXX stated she would remove me from the list and apologized. But yet, I kept receiving phone calls, several times a day, everyday. Each time I answered, and attempted to reach someone, but would get a weird voicemail stating that I reached they after business hours, although it was the middle of the day. I would leave a message stating that I was not the person they were looking for and to remove my number from their list. No such luck. Yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX, I finally got ahold of someone when they called, yet again and was meet with a ver combative woman, who was not willing to remove my phone number and kept stating that she wasnt going to help me because she didnt have time to deal with me right now. I told her that a I have left several messages to stop calling, advising that I would notify my attorney and CFPB if this persists and she became hostile, saying they ( CFPB and my attorney ) would be able to get the calls to stop.

I received a call informing me that they were processing an order in regards to a complaint filed against me and I had the opportunity to provide my address to the " information center '' so documents could be served to me at either my home or work address. I was given a case number. When I called the number with the referenced case number, I was told I had a delinquent account from XX/XX/XXXX, which was sold to a group of attorneys and finance company to collect funds. I was told it was a XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card I opened XX/XX/XXXX and was delinquent XX/XX/XXXX. I was told I could pay {$800.00} on a {$1800.00} delinquency. A document was sent to my email to sign to clear the delinquency and avoid legal action. They also explained that the phone call was to determine if the delinquency was purposeful or inadvertant. I explained I was unaware I had a credit card from XXXX and that I was going to check with XXXX to determine if this information was accurate. Upon speaking with several representatives at XXXX, I learned I did not have any credit cards with XXXX, and none that were charged off as delinquent. I called the " agency '' back and informed them of their error. I did receive their full mailing address and the agency name : ARG & Associates ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XXXX, AL phone number XXXX

XX/XX/2021 : I was contacted by a " private number '' and did not answer. When I retrieved the voice mail they left it stated it was from a firm attempting to file a case against me in my county regarding a " dispute over a broken contract ''. I called back the number left by the caller and an XXXX XXXX answered. I asked what this was in regard to and again got a very vague response regarding a broken contract dispute. I was only given the information about said dispute after providing the last 4 of my social. She stated it was due to a payday loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have been the victim identity theft in the past and am therefore very careful about calls such as this. I asked the name of the company and was given Alliance. I asked for written proof of the contract that was said to have been broken or of the loan itself and was told that since this is not a " collection activity '' that does not have to be provided. This is against the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They also threatened to contact my employer and family, send their " compliance officer '' to locate me at " every possible location '', and ruin my credit. XX/XX/2021 : Received an almost identical voice mail from another private number, this time the caller identified themselves as XXXX XXXX. Did not call back.

Contacted via VM on XX/XX/2020 by Alliance Recovery from phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I called back, Mr. XXXX XXXX informed me that there was a fraud case out for me. When I started asking questions, he began growing impatient and hung up. I called back and was hung up on again. Called back a third time and was told by another associate that they have every legal right to keep calling me, despite me asking them not to, until I receive legal documentation. I then started recording a video of me calling them back, where I was cussed out and was told that they were going to use my information to try buying a new home. This is all video recorded and I can provide that information.

Alliance Recovery keeps calling me even after I asked them to mail me verification of whatever debt is owed. They keep referencing a payday loan that was paid off years and years ago, and the loan itself was done over 10 years ago. After speaking with them again today and asking once again to mail me verification, he told me they would be at my house at XXXX Wednesday morning and hung up on me. They've also called me from XXXX and just switched numbers. I also told them to mail me verification at that number. Also, they've called my wife in the past as well.

They called my son on XX/XX/XXXX and I reached a person and stated that this was my son 's phone and not connected to the person they were attempting to contact. The lady on the phone assured me that they would remove my son 's phone number from their list. They have subsequently called back on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and twice today XX/XX/XXXX. They are getting increasingly nasty in their comments and I do not believe my son needs to hear this and to hear their threats.

Call from ( XXXX ) XXXX and other numbers. I receive at least one call a month over the last 3-4 years with the same recording asking for a random person named " XXXX XXXX '' and referencing a debt owed. I have blocked most of these calls after receiving them and also stayed on the line and asked representatives to stop calling on several occasions because they have the wrong number. Each time, the representative notes that my number will be removed from their call list, but to no avail.
