I purchased a vehicle from Albuquerque Auto Outlet XX/XX/2015. I was not offered a bank finance option instead I was offered in house financing. I was told that by using their in house financing after 6 months of on time payments it would reflect good to my credit report and I would then be able to refinance. On XX/XX/XXXX I had pulled my credit to see if the on time payments had improved my credit enough to refinance. After reviewing Albuquerque Auto Outlet had not reported to my credit at all. I reached out asking why it had not reported and was told they are working on it. After months of waiting for them to report to my credit and being told they were working on it it never was reported. I then made the decision with never paying late to return the vehicle to them. They are now reporting that 3 years later that they just repossessed the car and that the balance owed is over {$40000.00}. I have disputed the inaccurate amount owed and inaccurate reporting as to when the car had been repossessed and each time they have claimed its accurate.

Car was repossessed on XX/XX/XXXX. They did not give me 10 days to redeem collateral, they sent me a certified letter received XX/XX/XXXX ( tracking # XXXX ) " Notice of Plan to Sell Property '' but the letter was dated XX/XX/XXXX and stated they put up vehicle for private sale on XX/XX/XXXX. This was all I ever received from them. Never have I received a notice of sale of collateral and possible deficiency. I am attempting to purchase a house but having problems because they show a repossession with balance owed {$8900.00} which does not reflect the sale info for vehicle. I have had nothing but problems with Albuquerque Auto Outlet from the get go. I need to have someone audit their disclosure and collection methods. I also called and spoke with XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and advised of the problem. She stated she would call me back but as usual I have not heard anything.
