I have banked with XXXX XXXX for many years and have been going through ID Theft, Data Breaches, Cyber crime and am being tormented to this day and it started in 2019 if not earlier without my knowledge. My bank has told me they would not issue me another debit/credit card if this one is changed again because of reporting transactions that are not mine/fraudulent. My visa was taken out of my hand by a gentleman behind the desk and said they would not issue me another visa. I had gone down to XXXX to visit my 'sdaughter and went to the headquarters and they issued me another one without question. The bank has begun to treat me like i am the criminal. And now i am penniless because i am afraid to report my desputes that are clearly not my transactions, in fact have another person 's name from a XXXX and they refused to dispute it because i said i did not know that person, it was initials only and then i realized that may be my daughter and the bank now will not dispute my disputes. They told me because of IDentity Theft that i can't use the online banking and that made it hard becasue i had to go in every two weeks to get statements and now my visa has gone over the limit because i have NEVER gotten a statement from the bank so i dont know what is going on with my visa and i talked to a gentleman named XXXX at the XXXX and he admitted it had been the banks fault for not sending me statements when all i have been doing is paying on it and paying and now it is over the limit and i have not really used the card. I have a credit line there as well and since i have no money i have been using that to live on and the interest is so high i can't get ahead and don't know what to do and the bank is just making it worse by treating me like a criminal. They say " you have been diputing on my checking account for years and that is correct and they have given me the credits every time except now they wont help me at all. With the intimidation i have quit disputing. And now i am under, my credit has taken a hit and there are other credit cards created in my name that are not mine. Please help me it has all ruined a 25 year relationship and i have minimal income from SSD and have to relocate at the age of XXXX and i dont know how i am going to live or how i will survive. I was attempting to sell my XXXX XXXX XXXX to a private buyer that I met on XXXX. My car was listed for $ XXXX. The buyer sent me a check for {$33000.00}. He told me that the extra money was for a courier to pick up the car and take it out of state. On XX/XX/XXXX, I deposited the check and informed the bank, Alaska USA, that I deposited a check to satisfy the lien. I was informed that same day that the check cleared. I then called back the next day, XXXX hours, XX/XX/XXXX to verify the check did indeed clear. I was told that check DID in fact clear. I then proceeded to communicate with the buyer that he was the new owner of the car and asked how he wanted to proceed with the transfer of ownership. The buyer asked me to send him {$3600.00} via XXXX to pay for the courier. I sent 4 installments from my personal checking account - ( XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - {$950.00} ; XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - {$950.00} ; XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - {$850.00} ; XX/XX/XXXX - {$900.00} ) thinking I would receive a check from the bank ( essentially reimbursed ) in a few days because I paid over the lien amount. In Arizona, to complete a private auto sale, a Bill of Sale must be completed. When asking the buyer to send me his information to complete the paperwork, communication became very spotty and I became suspicious. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Alaska USA and asked them the status of the check that was deposited. I was then informed that the check was fraudulent. I asked the bank when anyone planned on telling me and the person said they would mail back the check several days later. Had I not called on XX/XX/XXXX, I would have never known the check was fraudulent. Further, and more importantly, I was scammed out of {$3600.00} all because I was given bad information from the bank saying that the check cleared. All this could've been avoided if I was given the correct information and promptly informed when the bank realized the check was fraudulent. I have filed a police report with the local authorities

Im not sure why my first case isnt showing up but Im having problems with the bank trying to come back and charge me over {$16000.00} for charges that apparently they paid a company in XXXX XXXX and XXXX only for me to find out that starting XX/XX/15 because they started posting to my account and they were fraudulent transactions. Ive provided them screenshots from the place, plus emails from the company and a ton of proof but even with all of that they are trying to make me pay those. however, because they didnt notify me that they had paid these people all this money until XXXX months afterwards I couldnt do anything to stop it and now the bank is trying to make me liable for all of it, even though I provided proof that my account was closed and that those transactions didnt happen by me. I could have stopped it sooner and had my card closed if they would have told me when they paid this merchant but they didnt. So now that have closed my checking and left me in a negative XXXX $ after taking over XXXX $ from my account on top of the negative XXXX $ they are trying to bully me to pay and sending me to collections and closing my account. I didnt make these charges and if they would have posted in XXXX when they apparently sent them then I could have closed my card and it wouldnt be like this however they didnt and they didnt deduct till XXXX XXXX and this XXXX and XXXX and now the bank wont help me as they say its on me to fight the merchant. But my issue is with the bank not merchant because the bank took my money and paid someone with out letting me know.

Alaska USA Federal CU ( Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Customer ) We wish to report a {$60000.00} loss as a result of a banks lack of security, fraud and negligence. More likely Gross negligence as it was reported to the bank while the fraud was in progress, they had three days to stop the fraud and didnt. On XX/XX/XXXX our bank account was fraudulently hacked in the amount of {$60000.00} dollars. An ACH was initiated on that date in the amount of {$60000.00} and was scheduled to go out three days later on XX/XX/XXXX. We notified Alaska Federal officials ( fraud dept, dispute dept and loan dept, etc. ) on that day XX/XX/XXXX, with both multiple phone calls and in writing of this fraud. An email was sent from the bank the same day confirming the above and our notification. Regrettably it went from bad to worse. The bank could have and should have intercepted this fraudulent transaction immediately on XX/XX/XXXX, or on XX/XX/XXXX, or XX/XX/XXXX or in the morning of XX/XX/XXXX, before the transaction was consummated. NACHA Rules, Section 2.9 Summary The Originator must make a reasonable attempt to notify the Receiver of the Reversing Entry and the reason for the Reversing Entry no later than the Settlement Date of the Reversing Entry. For XXXX XXXX XXXX loan. Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. I called XXXX to get a payoff amount to pay it off. Person gave me an amount but I could not pay it via XXXX their payment system and she said she would do it. She gave me amount of XXXX. She said it was more than today 's amount owing because it would take a few days to process. I said OK. XXXX I called again because nothing taken from my bank account for payment. i was told the previous person " screwed up '' and it wasn't processed. They then said they would process the amount which at that time was now reported as XXXX by employee # XXXX XXXX. Request # XXXX XXXX Still nothing taken from my account. Spoke to XXXX, employee # XXXX. She assured me she'd take care of it and also it would be the proper payoff of XXXX. On XXXX the amount of XXXX was taken from my account. However, now my account is open and showing {$26.00} due by XXXX. Therefore, my car not paid off and not reported as paid. i have no title to the vehicle either. They planning on holding my title now until more money than previous balance paid or XXXX? this is absurd. I have tried calling them a total of 6 times to straighten this out. Everytime I get the runaround and empty promises. I want this showing paid off and my car title as I am entitled to!

To whom it may concern ; On XX/XX/XXXX, I've asked Alaska USA Federal Credit Union to stop a direct deposit that was going into my account on XXXX XXXX. They said they couldn't stop it. That I would have to close the account and reopen another one. So I did what they told me. I also told the bank that this deposit CAN'T go in my account. They said that it wont go in because your account is closed. That it will go back to the sender. The credit union told us the our account is secured. So that weekend my wife and I had to change ALL of our accounts that had direct deposit. On Tuesday the XXXX, we noticed that our bank transferred that deposit that we worked so hard to stop. I asked our bank how did this happened? They replied that they did it as a courtesy. I didn't ask for that. I was so upset. I also found out that the bank gave this institute my new account number which I told them NOT too. Now my wife and I have to babysit our account because of what Alaska USA Federal Credit Union did. I was stopping an institute called XXXX XXXX from depositing any monies into my account. XXXX XXXX wont comment on how this mistake happened. I thought it was prohibited to give out personal information on bank accounts. Especially an institute that I told them about.

On XX/XX/2023, I sent a notarized Billing Error Notice to AlaskaUSA FCU 'S registered agent via USPS certified mail with a Domestic Return Receipt. AlaskaUSA FCU 'S registered agent received the Billing Error Notice on XX/XX/2023. I also sent a copy of the Billing Error Notice to AlaskaUSA FCU 'S XXXX XXXX XXXX and AlaskaUSA FCU Payment Processing via XXXX XXXX mail on XX/XX/2023, and XX/XX/2023. Those Notices were delivered to and received on XX/XX/2023, and XX/XX/2023. I am aware that AlaskaUSA FCU shall follow the following procedures as defined in 12CFR 1026.13 ( e ) ( 1 ) Correct the billing error and credit the consumer account with any disputed amount and related finance or other charges, as applicable ; and ( 2 ) Mail or delivery a correction notice to the consumer. I am also aware that " the creditor may not collect any disputed amount. The creditor can not restrict, accelerate payment or close an account and or make or threaten adverse reporting to any person about the consumers credit standing without resolving the billing error. '' Lastly, AlaskaUSA FCU has not responded with a rebuttal, point for point, which forfeits AlaskaUSA FCU 'S right to collect the disputed amount as described in 15 USC 1666 ( e ).

XX/XX/XXXX bank was called and a higher up was notified about my debit card getting cancelled many many times. Fraud and dispute are doing this. Senior person of dispute recorded me without permission and knowing until I ask. She kept asking what what??? It was not cool to be recordedXXXX went into 2 banks and noone at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX could not help. XXXX from back support said someone wanted to talk Monday to me but no calls to my phone on Monday. I called the bank and we did not work out a resolution. I guess its their way or no way!!!!!!! I have been a member for a very long time. This is nonsense getting my Card canceled many times and others blocking my card.. On XX/XX/XXXX talked to an acting supervisor and he had me write my concerns down on paper with me attaching some mail I received about old and new accounts at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX not have an old account anymore. I received a letter in the mail from Alaska USA Federal Credit Union telling me that they were turning down my application submitted online on XX/XX/22. I did not submit any such application, and had my credit locked through XXXX ( they notified me months ago of a possible data breach ) which is why they turned this fraudulent application down. I notified this company that it was a fraudulent application, and theyve noted this in my file. They had my ( correct ) social security number on the fraudulent application. Is there any way that I can get a new social security number since mine is clearly compromised? Alaska USA Federal Credit Union suggested that I file a complaint with you. Can you advise on what else I should do to prevent additional fraud? Thanks.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX opened an account in my name and Ex-wife 's name years ago without my knowledge. XXXX XXXX has since removed me from the banking portion of the account since my wife and I have divorced, and I explained no knowledge of this account. However, they will not remove my name from the credit portion of the account. I have never used the account, nor do I have access to this credit. I have made attempts to contact XXXX to make the appropriate changes, as well as all 3 credit bureaus with no luck. My credit is affected by this joint account that I have no ownership of.

I was sent a check for what I thought was a business deal. I made transactions with funds from this check, having funds available at the beginning of XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, there was a stop payment placed on the check, causing any transactions to not go through, and causing my account to go negative, which I have not been able to catch up on. The check was from Alaska Credit Union, written from the account of XXXX XXXX for {$15000.00}. I have attempted to obtain funds from this check, to no avail. The credit union would give me no information as to why a stop payment was issued.

A major bank in Alaska called Alaska USA federal credit union e mailed all their members a new policy with predatory over draft fees. In the e mail it says members will be charged {$25.00} per over draft and will continue to charge an additional {$25.00} per day until its paid off. I called the bank and spoke to a manager and confirmed these fees are the new policy and will be enforced no matter the situation even if a members card is stolen or a bank error This is by far the most extreme fees Ive ever seen in my life and it must be stopped.

Hello, This was a vehicle loan and I was in an accident in 2016. I could not fix the vehicle, so Alaska USA took the vehicle, fixed it and auctioned it off to satisfy the remaining of the loan. They closed the account stating it was paid in full. However, it is still showing on my credit report as negative. Alaska USA added the following comments to my report Remarks : Charged off as bad debt Dispute resolved ; customer disagrees This needs to be taken off of my credit report please.

On Saturday, XX/XX/2022, XXXX from the fraud department of Alaska XXXX in XXXX, Alaska, called me to tell me that someone from XXXX had all of my personal information and called Alaska USA on XX/XX/2022 and had them send him or her a new debit card.
