I requested 3 yrs bank statement showing all Afterpay credits and debits as I am owed refunds from XXXXAfterpay refuse to acknowledge and refuse to call me and address ALL issues. Due to the lengthy times frames I will address XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, most recent transactions for now. While Afterpay sends wording docs REFUNDED means nothing. They have not refunded my account but a few times this year, NO refunds in XXXX, XXXX XXXX refund XX/XX/XXXX {$29.00}, although they mention XXXX 's of refunds, there has been NO refunds to me as you can see and view my XXXX XXXX bank statement with the one and only XXXX XXXX as I have circled nothing but debits-NO REFUNDS, as Afterpay continues to lies their way theiry refunds as the refunds were not made to me! Bank statements says it all. They place blame on the merchant as I have also provide letters from XXXX, XXXX AND XXXX how the merchants PAID Afterpay and I returned items and Afterpay never refunded me back. Its a scam and I plan to sue. To that group, Afterpay purports to offer a solution to cash-strapped consumers. Afterpay prominently markets itself as a service that allows users to pay for purchases at a later date, with no interest, no fees and no hassle. These representations are false. In fact, there are huge, undisclosed fees and interest associated with using the service. Afterpays services thus cause unsuspecting consumers like myself to incur significant overdraft and NSF fees on their linked bank accounts. I sent message re not able to make 2nd pmt Afterpay order # XXXX, Requested to delay online and received a reject error can not miss payment on XXXX and received a reply 3 days later they are investigating issue and will close 3 inquirings as they were all different issues! never heard back. Debit of XXXX went through my bank and caused my act overdraft on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Afterpays Fraud terms and agreemnts. Per TX Deceptive Trade Practices/CPA to protect consumers against false, misleading, and deceptive business and insurance practices, unconscionable actions, and breaches of warranty. It does so by prohibiting certain acts and practices that tend to deceive and mislead consumers.Afterpay makes way too many rules and dont abide by it. They take action and do anything they want and continuously ignore, refuse to acknowledge real issues, they have removed phone lines and now you can only send emails and have to wait DAYS until they respond, its too late and funds have gone thru my act and OD my act. Without having phone lines available to resolve issues they chose to ignore the issue and address anything but the issue.I have informed After many time as next week I will be driving to XXXX XXXX small claims court to sue afterpay for the max amt {$20000.00} for at least 3 counts. This complaint will be submitted to Small Claims. I asked Afterpay to explain to me all XXXX AND XXXX DEBITS as they refused to do so. I cant stop Afterpay from illegally debiting withdrawals from my account! They refuse to provide the order # and amount they have withdrawn from my account and they stole funds. Refuse to address issues, incompetent and unprofessional. No phone lines, no guidelines as to how they hold refunds for months and not refund my money back. The hold funds for years and hope that you forget about it is their process and how they do things. Refunds were not credited to my account and I want my money back immediately. XXXX XXXX and XXXX refunded this company and they sit on it transactions and sitting on my refunds. I requested for their legal name, address, attorney name or person handling my act and tax id to move forward to my suit as they also refused to provide the info. When they reply to you..they need to provide this info to me.

I ordered shirts from a XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), that is located in XXXX, and elected to make payments using a third party payment program, called " afterpay ''. I received my first order of shirts in about three weeks. I tried one on, and it didn't fit. Since all of the shirts were Hawaiin style shirts, I didn't need to try every shirt on. I packaged the shirt in it's original package, and contacted XXXX and afterpay for a return authorization number for all of the shirts. XXXX contacted me back via email, and stated that they would give me 35 % off of my next order, if I keep the shirts. I emailed back, that I am not keeping shirts that do not fit. They emailed back, that if I return the shirts, that they might get lost or stolen. I emailed back, asking, " how would they get lost or stolen with tracking numbers and signature confirmation? '' No answer to that question, but they sent me a return authorization number, and where to send the items to, and it wasn't back to XXXX. It was some address in California. After spending {$38.00} out of pocket, to send their junk back, with tracking numbers and signature confirmation of return, I contacted " afterpay '' by email of the situation, and received the same XXXX responses from them as well. I told them that the items were returned with tracking numbers, and signature confirmation of return, and that I am not making anymore payments. I also stated that I want my money back from the previous payments. They emailed me stating that I still need to continue to make payments until they get confirmation from XXXX. I emailed stating that I am not making anymore payments, and that I'm filing a dispute with my credit card company, which I did, and received part of my money back. They emailed back asking me to send pictures of the returned items, showing the tracking numbers. As I stated earlier, everything was still in the original packaging, so not much to see, except the packaging with the postal information on the outside. XXXX asked for pictures too, showing the packages with return address and tracking numbers. I just recevied an email from a debt collector ( XXXX XXXX ) trying to collect for " afterpay and XXXX, on merchandise that I returned on XX/XX/2022. Now after being harassed by three different companies, I want the money ( {$38.00} ) back that I paid out of pocket, to return the items. Everything that I have stated in this post, is documented in black and white with all three companies, via emails.

On XX/XX/2021 I filed a complaint and dispute with Afterpay US Services LLC, an international payment platform engaged in the " pay later service. '' Per their installment agreement complaints and disputes that arise out of or related to the agreement should be filed through XXXX. My complaint and dispute was in regards to a merchant that I placed an order with on XX/XX/2021. The payment method for the order was through Afterpay. In my compliant with Afterpay I noted that I had received a damaged order from the merchant and had reached out to the merchant for return instructions and a refund. However, the merchant failed to provide a return label. As a result, I was gong to have to pay {$76.00} on my payment due date of XX/XX/2021. On XX/XX/2021 I received a response from Afterpay stating, " your Afterpay payment plan remains in place, we are not able to adjust your payment schedule on the basis of longer than expected delivery. '' The response from Afterpay also failed to indicate if they attempted to reach out to the merchant for a response. It appears that was not done. On XX/XX/2021 I contacted Afterpay and indicated that the basis of my dispute was not due to " longer than expected delivery '' but had clearly indicated the merchant was failing to adhere to their return policy and did not honor the issuance of a return label. On XX/XX/2021 I received a response from the merchant that a return label would be sent to me on XX/XX/2021. Mysteriously this was the same date my installment payment was due. It appears the merchant deliberately stalled the issuance of a return label in order to fraudulently collect funds that were in dispute. As an international payment platform Afterpay does not provide a claim process in which consumers are allowed to file a complaint against a merchant. Having such a process would allow for an investigation and response from the merchant. Instead, consumers are forced to make payment and pay for goods they aren't keeping dispute evidence that merchants have failed to adhere to their return policy.

XXXX has violated my rights, treated me unfairly. While they can send emails & text mess to me ; they have locked my account as XX/XX/2022. I can not view my act online as they intentionally locked, sent multiple requests in writing to afterpays website along with additional emails my account was locked. They have refused to reply. I tried to reset and not receive an email to reset password.At this point I only receive incorrect bills via email and no response to myhelp or passwords. If I go to the ap, reset password, tried a different email I received messages to contact help desk as I completed info and still no response or a text stating your act is locked. This is not how a professional company do business.I have sent multiple inquiries re refunds as they will to cover their scam and say they refunded my account when they didnt. I have a copy of my act for the last 2 years and very few refunds when more than half of the Afterpays were returned.They stated to you they refunded my act is a flat out lie, or stated refund to an act that does not belong to me. Also there are other refunds where I returned items as they dont give me all my money back, approx 10 % as they make up excuses to buy time and after over 3 months still no refund. This is a true scam and something needs to be done about it. No way to contact is UNFAIR. No support, no response, no ph number to contact and they locked my act and now taking amounts from my account everyday without my authority, refuse to prove to me where theyre getting these amounts from has not happened. They continue to illegally put my act in an overdraft til the point its closed. Service is good until you return items and inquire about illegal transactions.I sent a mess to CEO viaXXXX & now messages come back as an error. One thing they can not do is take funds from me & lock me out or provide no support. My rights are violated CFPB including others, multiple class actions & complaints as it cont to happen. This must stop.See locked out & email correspondence attached

Hello. I made a purchase on XXXX for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in-store at XXXX using my AfterPay ( order # XXXX ) for a total of {$200.00}. 1. I returned part of the the order XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX in-store. ( Refund of {$75.00} ) 2. I have both copies of the original purchase and a copy of the refund receipt. 3. I contacted AfterPay via their online app message center on XX/XX/XXXX telling them the return was not given. 4. XX/XX/XXXX AfterPay wrote back Please note it can take anywhere within 5-7 working days for these funds to clear into your bank account once the refund has been processed by Afterpay. 5. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted the retailer in-person about not receiving a full refund and they sent me a response stating they did in fact give me a full refund. The retailer said I should to contact AfterPay to troubleshoot the refund issue ( see attached email from retailer ). 6. On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote AfterPay again via their online app stating its been since XX/XX/XXXX and I have yet to receive my refund and that the retailer provided copy of their investigation and its shows they did process my refund. The retailer said I should to contact AfterPay to troubleshoot the refund issue. 7. XX/XX/XXXX AfterPay responded Upon reviewing, we havent receive any refund from the merchant. Please be advised that the merchant have full control on their return and refund policy. Kindly contact the merchant to make a follow up or to check the status of your refund.

This is a continuous prob with After as they refuse to acknowledge issues and refuse to c all you and resolve. They now send auto messages that has nothing to do with thde issue and fail to acknowledge the real issue, after they auto take funds from my checking act without my authority, mentioned the issue and still take funds from me. I have paid for all items and they are still going back to my checking debiting funds every 2 weeks as i informed them repeatedly that I returned all items. They go back toask for personal info repeatedly & blow you off, tell me to go back to XXXX XXXX XXXX for a refund as merchant doesn't refund they SPECIFICALLY STATE refund back to AFTERPAY. AFTER running a SCAM and FRAUD as they come they keep your money and tell you to go back to merchant. THEY CONTINUE TO VIOLATE MY RIGHTS and steal my money. Refuse to help, refuse to call. They charged me XXXX and I returned all items to XXXX, they refuse to help and send auto emails telling me to check emails and bank, they will tell you anything and send useless email automated to blow you off as I will not go away-. They are true thieves. XXXX XXXX refund purchases were returned and receipt indicated refund and no refund from afterpay! REFUSE TO HELP and should be fined-how is this legal CFPB???

I placed an order with Afterpay back in XXXX its already paid for and fulfilled because of a glitch with Afterpay duplicated the order I never placed a new order in XXXX but yet I was charged for a new order and it needs to be cancelled I contacted the merchant and the only order they have for me is the one in XXXX which is already fulfilled and paid for.. I do not need this order to be sent again i just need my money back and to stop any future payments on this order. Please canceled this order and cancel all future payments. I have been dealing with this for order a month now and it is not fair to be paying for this order when it was already paid for I am in touch with them since XX/XX/2021 and nothing has been solved instead they were asking me to make payments until this is solved. Why would I make a payment on your mistake. And they were quick to send me to collections I am beyond upset at this point. I have emails acknowledging that it was in fact a mistake and still not refund was received instead a got to be put in collections.

I've been having an account with afterpay to 2+ years and this is the 2nd tine they dropped my limit and changed my status for no reason. I returned an item to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021. I called and advised Afterpay. It took a while for XXXX XXXX to receive the returned so I called and asked did I need to pay to prevent changes on my account I talked to a XXXX and she said that i had 10 days before there would be any changes. The next day my credit limit changed and my status went from Mint to gold. They also received the refund from the company. I called to advise them of this and they said that they would fix the mistake in 24-48 hours. It has been since XX/XX/2021 and the correct has not been made even though they confirmed that I have never been late on my account., and that they would fix it. I followed up yesterday and they acting as if nothing is wrong with my account. Like their was never an issue.

On XX/XX/22 I purchased a pair of shoes from XXXX and paid with an Afterpay virtual card in the amount of {$500.00}. On XX/XX/22 XXXX issued a partial refund in the amount of {$55.00}. I contacted Afterpay because the debit card I had on file with them initially to pay back my purchase has since been closed along with the bank account. With Afterpay the purchase is split into 4 payments. My first 2 payment were paid with the debit card that has since been closed and my last 2 payments were made with my new debit card. I wanted to inform them of such so that they dont credit the closed card since the bank will reject the refund due to my account being closed. The refuse to give me a straight answer on this issue and insist on crediting the closed account when they know I wont receive the refund. Its seems as if Im being given the run around and that they are trying to keep my money.

I am a federally protected consumer speaking on behalf of myself of the events that occurred. On XX/XX/2021 I reached out to via email Afterpay and requested all previous or current loan applications that are on my file. On XX/XX/2021 I received an email from the Afterpay Team that they do not provide a statement of account ( see attached screenshot ). If they are unable to verify any past, current or future loans, these loans are therefore invalid. Any payments that I made in the past did not pay a debt. Where did the payments go if I did not receive any loans? If a debt collector can not provide validation of the alleged debt, it is invalid.

Afterpay, a company that provides people the opportunity to make several payments for a purchase, has made several unauthorized charges on my credit card. Afterpay has no number to call for customer service. It does show online that complaints can be submitted online I have submitted my complaint several times, but have never received a response. I would like to know the identity of the person or persons who used my card without my authorization. I would like to know the identity of the goods I have been charged for, and the address to which the goods were shipped.
