AFC Recovery, LLC sent me a undated letter which I received XX/XX/XXXX.
The letter stated that they were trying to collect a debt owed to XXXX and that as of XX/XX/XXXX I owed {$350.00} and now owed an additional {$600.00}.
I have no memory or records of any outstanding debt.
It is my belief that any debts I owed in this time frame were paid in full and I have received no communications in writing or electronic in the past 10 years indicating otherwise.
I do remember checking my credit report about 10 years ago to assure myself that any outstanding debts had be settled.
My current credit report shows no record of any such debt.
If I ever owed XXXX this money I believe that they either : - did not properly credit payments received - did not bother to inform me of a balance due for over 20 years Additionally this debt was not submitted to any credit reporting agency.
On XX/XX/XXXX I responded to AFC Recovery, LLC using the form they provided and stated : I wanted to dispute the debut because I think- This is not my debt - Other The statue of limitations on debt in Washington State is six years I have never received any original bill for this debt I wanted AFC Recovery to send me name and address of original creditor This response was sent by USPS Priority mail and received by AFC Recovery on XX/XX/XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX I received another letter from AFC Recovery, LLC dated XX/XX/XXXX stating they were the new owners of this so called debt.
I do not keep records going back 11 years. I honestly have no idea if this particular debt ever existed but I most definitely have heard nothing about this in 10 years.
