I received the attached collection notice from Advantage Collection Professionals on XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, for a debt I owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, in the amount of {$310.00}. Please note that the collection notice intentionally does not have the date the notice was mailed to me. This was the first time that Advantage Collection had ever made any contact with me regarding this debt ; I had not received any notification of this debt from Advantage Collection prior to XXXX XXXX. As a result, I was not given any opportunity to dispute this debt, pay this debt in full or otherwise exercise my consumer rights under applicable debt collection laws, to avoid this collection account from being placed on my credit bureau reports. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I attempted to pay this debt in full via the website given in the collection notice : www.acpi-pay.com. The website charged a {$5.00} fee and did not offer any way to make a payment without incurring a payment processing fee. This practice was entirely dishonest, deceiving and abusive -- the website only allowed me to make a payment with a {$5.00} processing fee attached to any payment method used on this website, whether it was ACH or credit card. Since Advantage Collection knowingly and intentionally did not offer and did not provide information on free-of-charge ways to pay the debt, I e-mailed Advantage Collection on XXXX XXXX in the attached e-mail to advise them I was mailing a check that same day to pay the debt in full. I also requested my account with their office be updated accordingly and a paid in full letter sent to me once my payment had been processed. I did not receive any reply to or acknowledgment of this communication to Advantage Collection. As you will note in the attached copy of the cancelled check, Advantage Collection processed my payment, and they endorsed the check as well. The check was processed by my bank on XXXX XXXX. This is proof that my payment was received and processed, despite Advantage Collection knowingly and intentionally not responding to my e-mail mentioned above. On XXXX XXXX, I received notice from my XXXX and XXXX XXXX credit monitoring tools that my account with Advantage Collection was placed on my XXXX and XXXX credit bureau reports, and Advantage Collection had knowingly, deliberately and intentionally reported that the account was unpaid and had a {$310.00} balance. Advantage Collection knowingly and intentionally reported dishonest and inaccurate account data for this collection item with their office. Screen shots of my credit files reflecting this are attached. Advantage Collection did not adhere to lawful debt collection practices when it reported the inaccurate and dishonest account data to the credit bureaus. They also did not adhere to lawful debt collection practices -- but instead engaged in deceptive and abusive practices -- when the first and only contact I had with them regarding this debt was on XXXX XXXX, not even XXXX full week prior to when I e-mailed them and mailed my payment, and when Advantage Collection cashed my check. Advantage Collection also offered no option on their payment website to submit a free-of-charge payment, intentionally and knowingly engaging in dishonest and abusive debt collection practices to charge and collect extra fees, and not offering any information on how to submit payments that did not cost fees. After cashing my check, Advantage Collection knowingly used dishonest and deceptive practices to report my account as an unpaid collection item, when in fact it had been paid ; they were notified of the payment fee issue on their payment processing website, and they were notified I was sending in payment. At no time did Advantage Collection contact me or respond to my communication.

XXXX was informed properly that I would need my internet/ communications service disconnected at my apartment in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX the end of XXXX XXXX. I settled my debt to end of XXXX XXXX and double checked that they everything tied up on their end since I moved to XXXX XXXX, XXXX end of XXXX XXXX. XXXX continued to draw from my account every month until XXXX XXXX when I finally had my accounts switched at my bank. I was undergoing XXXX treatment from XXXX XXXX - currently and while I was getting my finances in order I noted this unauthorized withdrawal. I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX again and it was " cleared up '' although they refused to return the 1.5 years of unauthorized draws on my account. XXXX XXXX I was made to believe that it was all taken care of. I never received a bill, phone call, email or any communications that there were any problems with my account and that I needed to do more. During XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX I moved back to XXXX at XXXX XXXX, near my family again for support. I again went with the only internet provider XXXX XXXX XXXX. They ran my information and I was given an account. They again reassured me that my past account from XXXX was closed and fine. When I moved after the end of XXXX XXXX back to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was very through about making sure that my account was paid in full and closed with XXXX XXXX XXXX, again checking both accounts. I never received a bill, phone call, email or any communications that there were any problems with my account. This XXXX I received a threatening phone call from a collections agency ( XXXX and Advance Collections Professionals ) telling me that they would ruin my life if I did n't pay my debt and I should know what they mean. I had no clue what they were talking about and figured it was a wrong number. After a few very scary calls I finally got enough information that it was about XXXX. I immediately called XXXX XXXX XXXX to double check both of my past accounts which I had been informed were in good standing ( closed and paid in full ). XXXX XXXX XXXX assured me that they both were and that they would contact the collections agency to clear it up. I recently found that my credit score went from XXXX to below XXXX because they posted it on my credit that I have an outstanding bill from XXXX for XXXX XXXX, which I was living in XXXX XXXX and had already closed out my account with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX. This is very frustrating and I feel helpless with this company basically saying " what are you going to do about our unethical behavior ''. I hope you can help.

I was contacted by XXXX XXXX, advising me that my credit score went down due to XXXX XXXX reported a negative collections on my account. I 'm requesting a investigation and for this inaccurate information on my credit report to be removed. I have never received or agreed to having any cable or any service from them. I transferred my XXXX XXXX services to another address which XXXX XXXX stated they could n't install my cable boxes. XXXX XXXX had to install the boxes XXXX XXXX XXXX was paid in full for installing XXXX XXXX boxes.XXXX XXXX sent me something in the mail inviting me to have service with them I respectfully declined.I have never set up account with this company nor would I ever use them as my cable provider. I made a formal complaint against them when they installed XXXX XXXX boxes. I was given a credit due to their poor installation services. This company should be fined for charging for service they never provided. I have requested from them to send me a copy of an agreement with my execution of signature and agreement to any service and proof of service their claiming they provided. I received a call from a rep at XXXX XXXX stating I owe {$56.00} I asked her what was the charge for, she stated for cable service. I explained to her that I never agreed nor had any service with them. This is company is a fraud. I have a right to choose who I want to do business with. they have reported this on my credit with brought my credit score down almost XXXX points due to this false credit reporting. please investigate and remove this from my credit report immediately.. There have been many damages done from these companies to my consumer report and in pursuant to 15 USC 1692k Except as otherwise provided by this section, any debt collector who fails to comply with any provision of this subchapter with respect to any person is liable to such person in an amount equal to the sum of ( 1 ) any actual damage sustained by such person as a result of such failure ; ( 2 ) ( A ) in the case of any action by an individual, such additional damages as the court may allow, but not exceeding {$1000.00} ; or ( B ) in the case of a class action, ( i ) such amount for each named plaintiff as could be recovered under subparagraph ( A ), and ( ii ) such amount as the court may allow for all other class members, without regard to a minimum individual recovery, not to exceed the lesser of {$500000.00} or 1 per centum of the net worth of the debt collector. If you have no proof immediately of any or one, I would like it removed immediately. By the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I demand that these items be re-investigated and removed from my report. It is my understanding that you will recheck these items with the creditor who has posted them. Please remove any information that the creditor can not verify. Federal Law states that you have thirty ( 30 ) days to complete your re-investigation. Be advised that the description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information is also hereby requested, to be provided within fifteen ( 15 ) days of the completion of your investigation. I received a call at XXXX on XX/XX/2018 from Advantage Collection Pros at my place of employment. I politely asked if she would not call me on my job. She told me I have a bill of XXXX (? ) and I told her it would come out of my account on Friday and please not call my job, please send me correspondence, she said : we did, in XXXX. I said again, please dont call me at work and she said I will call until the bill is paid and hung up on me. This upset me that she was so rude and just hung up! I called the company back at XXXX on XX/XX/2018 and I spoke with somebody and she said that my account indicates not to be contacted at work. I asked her to review the conversation.

I have disputed this debt with another debt collections company and it was sold to a new company. This reporting on my credit report is violation of HIPPA and I never gave XXXX XXXX my SSN or any of my personal information. They need to validate this debt and show me where I signed an agreement. Per the FCRA and HIPPA this needs to be removed. The debt collectors has also contacted me and I am on the the Do No Call registry. This is a violation of the TCPA and I will be charging them {$1500.00} for the violation. They can apply this amount to the debt and issue out any remaining balance to me. If they choose not to award me any funds I will file suit in court.

today XX/XX/XXXX advantage collection professionals called me stating I owed over 1300 hundred dollars from where I had XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX ky XX/XX/XXXX XXXX looked at my file and said I owed nothing to them, that if I did owe anything not paid the business office would contact me before a debt collector. So then I called XXXX XXXX which I paid off the rest of my eye bill XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX. They put a note that bill was paid in full and no balance owed on that card. Not sure if this is a scam or what just want it sorted out. XXXX was paid in XXXX and XXXX was charged on XXXX XXXX which I have already paid off in full.

She then contacted me again at my work and stated " I know you told me not to call you at work, but you did n't return my call. '' I told her again not to contact me at work and she said at this point I would be facing legal action. I have a collection account on my credit report that I have no knowledge of. I never received any kind of communication from the collection agency, and was never notified of having any owed balance being sent to collections. I disputed this with XXXX and they refuse to remove the unknown collection account from my credit file. This collection account has hindered my ability to get accepted for any type of personal loan, and has made it extremely hard for me to even try to raise my score.

I was contacted by this company repeatedly from this company. I received XXXX but it was done incorrectly by a Dr. that was not suppose to be doing these procedures. I had to get a real doctor to fix my XXXX. The company closed soon after and the lifetime warranty was not respected. The company was a fraud. I have been requesting for this company to send me validation of debt to clarify everything about this alleged debt but not only they have failed to send me information, but they are also reporting false information to the credit bureau which is damaging my character. Called work number, the first time she was transferred to me, I explained that it was absolutely unacceptable for me to have calls at work and they could not call me again.
