APG and associates collection agency continues to call family members and others no matter how remotely they are associated with me even though I have already spoken with them multiple times and given them my phone number, address and email address. They continue to claim that they are calling from a lawyers or mediation office and that there is action being taken against me. They refuse to identify themselves as a collection agency and continue with abusive and illegal collection practices. I have asked the agent, XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), repeatedly to send me something in writing about the debt and they claim they will yet I have received nothing. I do n't even believe that APG is actually their company name. There is no website associated with the name APG of New York. I find it strange that I ca n't find any information about this business online anywhere. A search of their address brings me to another company called XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. or XXXX which both have XXXX Alerts on them. Every tactic they use goes against the FDCPA.

I was paying them off, I owed {$410.00}, I was going to pay {$200.00} on XXXX but they said it had to be in XXXX . Someone from APG called and blocked their # and said call XXXX , they were with XXXX County and were going to serve me with papers tomorrow between XXXX and XXXX and I must have a valid government issued ID. I called XXXX County Courts ( Civil and Circuit ) a nd asked if they had any cases with my name, they both said no. I called the XXXX number and asked who it was they said APG, I asked why there were representing themselves as XXXX County and they said they were retained by XXXX XXXX but now the case has left their office and I better pay XXXX XXXX before they take further legal action. I 'm sure I have paid them way more then the original principle.

I defaulted on my payday loan with XXXX. I got into a difficult financial situation and am trying to get caught up. Have spoken with reps at their collection agency APG about working out a payment plan but I do n't know yet how much I can pay until my payday the XXXX. So instead of waiting 5 days they call my work and cell multiple times a day to see if I have magically gotten money yet to pay them off. They sent a verification of employment letter to my employer today. I thought they could only do that if they have n't been in contact with me?

They contacted my mom, brother and sister. They collected funds from my mother without my consent. I contacted them the first day they called my family and asked them to only contact me. They continually contacted my family & gave my mother details about the debt so she paid it in full. I never authorized them to speak to anyone about my debt
