I have sent XXXX other complaints through this form and nothing has been done. I have received another call from a XXXX from a XXXX XXXX from an Advanced Portfolio Group. He goes on to say he is needs statement as he is a pre-legal and it is part of his job. He also called me work, again, after I told this place not to call me last week as it is not allow and my voice mail is shared. This XXXX XXXX also called my ex-husband with personal information. They are not allowed to do that. They already know my contact information, so they are not supposed to be calling family, work and long lost ex husbands. I called XXXX XXXX, who is the original debtor. They told me they sold it to XXXX XXXX XXXX Collections. I looked them up. They are licensed in XXXX. I have not heard from this XXXX XXXX place yet. I called the XXXX and a man stated, " hey this is XXXX ''. I said, " what company is this ''. He stated, Advanced Portfolio Group. I mentioned he did not stated his company when he answered, that was a reg flag. I told this XXXX about this XXXX XXXX character, repeatedly calling my work ( XXXX times last week ; including a XXXX XXXX XXXX right after I told the lady at this Advanced Portfolio Group to quit calling me at work and I would wait for a validation letter ) and harassing me and now harassing my ex husband.I asked again to this XXXX not to call my work or anyone else except for the contact home phone they had. I also mentioned that I called both XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX and they do not know whom Advanced Portfolio is. XXXX stated, " oh they must be part of XXXX XXXX XXXX, as we are like a sub company ''. I stated I am going to look into this more before I do or say anything else. This XXXX stated he would call me back in a weeks time, but the other calls will stop and this XXXX XXXX will be talked to and reprimanded.

Advanced Portfolio Group is calling and harassing me. On XX/XX/22 This company has threatened to send my information over to the Sheriff 's Department for further actions if I didn't allow them to talk to me in a degrading manner and belittle me on the call. Upon receiving the call this company also released my complete personal information on the call without getting any verification by date of birth or SSN. This company released my personal details without confirming they had the correct person on the line. I requested a manager in regards to the violation of my rights to my personal information. The manager came on the line and over talked me, used a condescending and demeaning tone and also yelled at me after I requested to speak with him in regards to violation of my rights to my personal information and threatened police action. The manager also threatened to report my information to the Sheriff 's Department if I didn't comply. When I asked for options the manager was deceiving in the information provided and wouldn't give the proper information, details and options available with the company. He lied about payment options and threatened to hang up and send me to the Sheriff 's Department if I didn't make a decision with him right then on the call. He transferred me to another agent and she also lied about payment options and methods of payment available to their customers. After addressing them on their deceptive and abusive acts they also hung up in my face while attempting to discuss this violation and gave deceiving information and lied consistently throughput the call about their terms and what options are available. I would like to sue for FDCPA violations and file a complaint.

Advanced Portfolio Group ( aka APG ) first called me on XX/XX/2019 informing me that they were attempting to contact me to mediate a " business '' matter. Upon speaking with a representative at the firm, they are attempting to collect on an installment loan debt without ever notifying me via written mail. I asked the representative to mail me the appropriate information per the Fair Debt Collection Act, in which he verified my home address. I indicated to them that I would be disputing the debt. The company called again on XX/XX/2019 and left a VM saying I had plenty of time to review the email they sent on Tuesday and wanted to know if I would prefer to settle the account or go to mediation. I called back and spoke with another representative to inform them I still had not received the notification via mail. The representative indicated that they already mailed something 30-days ago and sent an email on Tuesday. I informed them that I had not received both, per law, and would again need to validate the debt. The representative became very angry saying they could verify a letter was sent, which I indicated unless you certified it, I have no record receiving it. It is my belief that Adavnced Portfiol Group ( APG ) is not following the Fair Debt Collection Act laws and have mailed them a cease and desist letter via certified mail. It is my expectation that all further communication be mailed via USPS per law.

I actually have two issues, but the site would only let me select one. So along with the repeated phone calls they also used language that was perceived as threatening. This phone number has called me 33 times between XXXX and XXXX which is definitely in line with harassment. Their number comes up as a potential scam number on my phone, so I have not been answering. I finally decided to call back. The agent identified himself, but not the company he worked for and asked for my name. I did not give him my name because my phone has said this is a potential scam caller. After some back and forth he said word for word that " I was screwing myself by not listening to him and this could mess up a lot of things for me ''. I have this whole call recorded. He hung up on me and I called back and explained to the new agent what happened. He removed my number from the call list, but that still doesn't excuse the way the first agent talked to me. His words were very much perceived as a threat.

Recently, XXXX XXXX XXXX has been contacting me through Advanced Portfolio Group LLC. Firstly, they left me voicemails that do not identify themselves as debt collectors and just say that we need to urgently speak. Secondly, I have asked them for proof of a debt owed and what the debt is for multiple times via phone and email, but they just say that I need to pay the debt or that I can get a good deal. However, they are not telling me what product/ service I supposedly owe debt for. I have also told them if they show me specifically what I have not paid, then I will of course be open-minded to working out a payment, but I will not do that until I know what the alleged debt is for.

On XX/XX/2022, at XXXX XXXX, I was contacted by a XXXX who did not identify himself, from what I later discovered was Advanced Portfolio Group located in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This XXXX disguised his number by using XXXX, a number with an area code belonging to the XXXX XXXX XXXX along all with government offices and departments of the state, to call my phone. He demanded I return his call at XXXX about a 'location report ' being conducted at my address, demanding that I verify my physical location. The voicemail he left has been saved by me as evidence. Advanced Portfolio Group is deliberately misrepresenting themselves and using false or deceptive tactics.

This company keeps calling and hanging up. When I called back I asked the guy for verification and he told me no. He was threatening me and I can't get the information for verification. I don't know what this debt is and he keeps saying '' I traced your IP ADDRESS. ". This is harassment. I finally told him to take me to court, because I'm unemployed. We can get this figured out there.
