Debt was to be waived by original creditor. Received a call to collect without getting original notification. Also received call to collect without my right to dispute. Below is an outline of the issues we had, people we chatted with, and extensive notes that weve taken for a situation like this. A copy of this letter will be going to the following. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ), Admin Recovery LLC, XXXX member Support, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Balance total on invoice that have received from Admin Recover LLC collections is {$650.00} We are requesting total refund of {$2600.00} for total bill refunded as you will see below item is not able to be used and we were paying/paid for Item Ordered XX/XX/XXXX o Total {$2600.00} Mid XX/XX/XXXX issue o the bikes resistance & elevation feature were no longer working. This feature would react to the landscape the instructor was taking you through. If they were climbing a hill, the resistance and elevation would increase. Even if you tried to increase resistance and elevation manually, it would not adapt but instead stay static. It took me a week or XXXX but eventually I was able to place a service request on the bike as it was under warranty. XXXX said they would contact a third party vendor to come out and service the bike. XX/XX/XXXX o I was contacted by XXXX with Fixed. Since XXXX was mailing out the parts, he reached out to confirm I had received the part. We scheduled a service visit for XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX o XXXX did not show up as he was running behind. After many backs and froths, we ended up scheduling a visit for XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX came out to fix the bike. He said that the part he had to put into the bike, a new circuit board, was inside the bike. To get to it, he had to remove the middle covering. To do this, he would have to remove the pedal on the left side of the bike. We left him to his work on the bike. XXXX minutes or so he was unable to remove the pedal due to a stripped screw. We asked what the next step should be to fix it & he said he had to order a new pedal & a tool to remove the stripped screw. He said hed order them & they should show up in the next week but he would keep me updated. XX/XX/XXXX o Text to XXXX ( XXXX ) to ask what the status was on the order. He said they had been ordered but hadnt received any confirmation on shipment. He said he would keep me updated. XX/XX/XXXX o No response yet on parts so another text to XXXX, I asked if there was any update on scheduling service or the parts. There was no response XX/XX/XXXX o I called back into XXXX to see if we could get another service individual scheduled to come out. I also asked them the update on the parts. They said there was no order placed. Ws told they would work on getting an order in along with providing a NEW service individual to fix the bike. XX/XX/XXXX o contacted by a new vendor called XXXX XXXX. We worked to schedule service. XX/XX/XXXX o They came out this day, however, I had not received the part yet, so there was no service to provide. XXXX XX/XX/XXXX o I received the part XX/XX/XXXX o Called to schedule service. At the time, the individual who answered said that someone from the office would call me to schedule a service. I never received a call back. XX/XX/XXXX o XXXX from XXXX XXXX called me to state they were at my house. I told them I was not there as no one had called me back to schedule a service date. He apologized and said he would send a note to his manager to give me a call. I never received a call. XX/XX/XXXX o XXXX XXXX XXXX to schedule a service. The earliest they said they could get to me was on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX o I was called and told the individual who was scheduled to come up that day could not make it but rescheduled for the XXXX at XXXX a.m. XX/XX/XXXX o Waited at home for an individual to come. After XXXX minutes and no one showing up, I called the number for XXXX XXXX to see if they could make sure the individual was still showing up. After another XXXX minutes of no contact, I called back and told them to no longer bother sending someone to the house. I was not there & would not be working with an unresponsive company. o Called XXXX XXXX tell them I would be requesting a charge back for the bike. o XXXX XXXX team lead for client services team contacted us letting us know they would put a request in with the XXXX XXXX XXXX to request a new bike or refund the bike. We needed to provide some requested details on the situation first. This info was not available right away and would need to take some time on our part. XX/XX/XXXX o Provided her those requested details. XX/XX/XXXX o Reached out to XXXX and requested an update. XX/XX/XXXX o She responded and said a product resolution solution had been approved and that someone would be reaching out from the team. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I asked what to expect from this team. XX/XX/XXXX o XXXX XXXX said that I could expect an email, which I had not received from them. She said she would reach out and get an update. XX/XX/XXXX o I told her I still hadnt received an email. I told her that if I didnt hear anything by Wednesday ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I would be requesting a chargeback. I did not hear anything by the XXXX so I called TD Services & requested direction for beginning the process of a chargeback. XX/XX/XXXX o Called into XXXX to be provided some details on dates for my call-ins to put on the dispute form. When doing this, the client service individual reviewed the notes on the account & put me in touch with XXXX XXXX. He stated that he showed I had been approved for a new bike. However, through conversation, we found out the reason they had not gotten ahold of me is they had the incorrect email address in the system. I told him we appreciated the offer, but we are requesting a chargeback. He then stated he could get approval for a refund of the bike, if we were comfortable removing it from the house without help from XXXX. We agreed that would be fine and he began the process of a refund. XX/XX/XXXX o XXXX confirmed that a refund had been approved. XX/XX/XXXX o The refund was transacted and posted on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1600.00} XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX o Continued to receive calls from XXXX on paying off the remainder of the bill. XX/XX/XXXX o Called to find out why the remainder of the bill, {$650.00}, had not been cleared. The individual who helped me stated that there was a pending payback on the account. The way they explained this to me was that it was showing as a credit that would be cleared. They would call back if this was not the case, however, it was under this impression that we believed that we no longer owed anything on the bike. XX/XX/XXXX o Continued to receive calls from XXXX on paying off the remainder of the bill. XX/XX/XXXX o Called back to the client service team to find out if payment had been applied to the account. Again, I was told something like the conversation on XX/XX/XXXX that there was a pending payback and that I would not need to pay anything back to the account. XX/XX/XXXX o Received a call from XXXXs collection Third Party stating there was a bill that had been sent to them and they were reaching out to collect on it. XX/XX/XXXX o After several attempts to be put in touch with a manager at XXXX, I finally talked to a XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX and I were on the phone for XXXX hours as she explained to me that whatever I heard from my calls in XXXX was incorrect and that, in fact, we did owe the remaining portion of the bill. I requested that the calls, which she had reviewed, be forwarded to me so I could hear back my conversation. She said she was unable to provide this and if I wanted to dispute the remaining charges, I could do so through a dispute form. XX/XX/XXXX o Received initial letter from Admin Recover LLC

I am a NJ consumer filing a formal complaint against Admin Recovery for abusive and harassing calling practices, unnecessary skip tracing, third party disclosure about a debt and deceptive collection tactics. Parties involved : Admin Recovery , LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX Debt Collector name = XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX Collection Manager name = XXXX XXXX Original Creditor name = XXXX XXXX Credit Card - XXXX An account was placed with their office on XX/XX/XXXX with two good phone numbers, a cell phone number and a work number. Since placement, this agency has called both numbers repeatedly several times in a single day, multiple times a week using both an auto-dialer and manual calling efforts. The voicemail clearly identifies my full name so they know they have good location information. Additionally, they call my wife at her place of business on an out of state number. I have call logs, voicemails, cell phone screenshots, and a recorded call to prove these harassing call practices have been taking place and support the validity of this complaint. Today, Monday XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX the debt collector assigned to my account, XXXX XXXX reached me on my cell phone as I was driving and I hung up. At XXXX he called my cell phone again and I did not answer. He then called my work number at XXXX and again at XXXX according to my caller id. At XXXX he called a relative with the same name ( my father ) on his home landline number which is listed to a different address. He knew I could not be reached at this number and identified his company name and insinuated the call was about a debt. He did not ask for my contact information, but did say it was " Very Important that I contact him '' and he asked my father to get a hold of me to have me call him back. Out of concern for his son, my father called me right away. My father has a XXXX XXXX and was previously unaware that I had any financial hardship or past due bills. This message that was left with him caused unnecessary/undue stress on him. Admin Recovery put my father 's health at risk today. If leaving a message with my father wasn't enough, at XXXX he contacted my uncle at his private home number. Again, for the sole purpose of harassing me and to inform a relative that Admin " Recovery '' is looking to speak with me, he instructed my uncle to get in touch with me and have me call his office. If leaving a message with another relative was not enough, at XXXX he contact another relative with an entirely different last name and did the same thing. At XXXX he contacted my cousin on his MD cell phone number and asked for me when my cousin picked up. Despite purposefully calling the wrong number in an entirely different state in an effort to get my attention, he still asked if he was reaching the right party. This is a deceptive collection tactic. A debt collector does not need to disclose details of a debt in order for a third party to know it is a collection call when his company 's name consists of the word " Recovery ''. Then at XXXX he contacted another out of state cousin on his AZ cell phone. This time he was rude and aggressive and made it very clear that he was a debt collector. He knew he would not reach me on an out of state number so it is very clear that his intentions were not to get a hold of me, but to get my attention and prompt a call back. In 10 minutes he left messages with at least 5 relatives ( that I know of ). This was at least a 22 minute time span that he spent on my account trying to leave as many messages that he could with as many relatives that he could find. At XXXX I called XXXX XXXX back and recorded our 20 minute conversation. He stated that the original creditor had provided him with all of the numbers he dialed today which is a lie and should be considered a deceptive business practice. When I expressed how upset I was about him calling my relatives, he admitted that he was pleased that his efforts paid off and he achieved the desired result of getting me to call back. He also stated that his actions were a part of his company 's normal business practices and felt he was not at all out of line by leaving so many live messages with so many different third parties while knowingly calling numbers that I could not be reached on. When I asked what skip trace tools he was using to reach out of state cell phone numbers for my relatives he refused to tell me. When I asked him to play/send me the call recordings of the 5 conversations he had today, he refused. He had a rude tone, made snide remarks and continued to cut me off several times as I was speaking to talk over me in an attempt to redirect the conversation to talk about the debt and not about how he managed to get me on the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and he transferred me to XXXX XXXX. I received the same treatment from him and he stated that his collector did nothing wrong and no company policies were broken. I advised him I would be filing a complaint with the CFPB and he did not care, as if there wasn't any repercussions that would ever come from such a complaint. I further requested that he cease and desist all phone contact with me. He told me that I must notify him in writing in order for this request to be valid. That is when I provided him with my attorney 's contact information and advised all future communication needs to be directed to him. After looking at the company 's website, they have a large section that reads " We take compliance concerns seriously '' and " Please contact our Compliance Department to address and concerns you may have ''. So I called back and asked to speak with someone in their compliance department and the person ( XXXX ) that picked up said there was no compliance department and wanted to transfer me back to the manager I was speaking with. This company is very unprofessional and is not operating in compliance with the FDCPA and NJ state collection laws that are in place to protect consumers. They need to be shut down.

On the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX a close family member received a MSG on his C/PH which by the way his phone number is private I would never dare to give it out without permission. That MSG was at XXXX HRS to his C/PH from XXXX at the above number to call her at the above EXT. Approximately between XXXX HRS the same day my brother has spoken with XXXX and with a Supervisor. ( a ) that this is not his number, he has his number and if he is not home, he is not home, ( b ) this MSG was clearly related to both of them on a recorded line. To the MNGR my brother said, all the above plus he does not appreciate how un professional they are, are you a legit licensed business, then be and act like professionals. He agreed and said he will remove all numbers accept his number XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I dont remember which day she called the house but was advised directly who ever she spoke with that I will not talk on the phone to people I dont know, she has a choice to write to him. Calling the Home Phone ( XXXX ) XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX HRS XXXX HRS XXXX HRS XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX HRS The same female XXXX called the house and my brother picked-up and he wrote down the MSG she requested, to give to me. XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX HRS she called again my brothers CP and left a very clear MSG this is after she and the MNGR was told that they are calling the wrong person, on this MSG she added if you are not XXXX than dont listen to this MSG. my brother aid the last time he checked he pays his cell phone bill she will not tell him what to listen if somebody leaves a MSG on my phone. Multi FDCPA and FCCPA Violations No : 1 that amount of calls on the house number the month of XXXX, which I cant retrieve them. Only if its a missed call, but if I pick-up than its gone it will not be in the missed calls. No : 2 disclosing to a third party all while she knew clearly that that CP belongs to another person. We all can agree that a few phone calls a week might be ok, but every single day a few phone calls is way too much, especially when she was advised to write to me. 15 U.S. Code 1692d The following violation. After she was clearly advised that the person she is calling is not a spouse even. So the MSG on Wed the XXXX of XXXX, XXXX was not for location. However, when it comes to other family members, friends and neighbors, the rules change. A collector can call these third parties solely for the purpose of seeking location information of the debt. The collector is prohibited from disclosing where they are calling from or what they are calling about. The collector must not disclose the debt to this third party. The only legitimate reason a collector has to make third party communication is to verify a consumer debtors whereabouts. 1692-1692p 805b Communication with third parties Except as provided in section 1692b of this title, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector, or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, or as reasonably necessary to effectuate a postjudgment judicial remedy, a debt collector may not communicate, in connection with the collection of any debt, with any person other than the consumer, his attorney, a consumer reporting agency if otherwise permitted by law, the creditor, the attorney of the creditor, or the attorney of the debt collector. But absolutely not to friends and Family members, First of all, any and all MSG is being saved for future needs. I am attaching here a screen shot from my brothers phone the MSG itself if you need them you actually can pull the call logs from this company direct. The consumer is seeking for all this violations payment whatever the law permits especially under the FCCPA it is for each violation Pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692 ( k ), in the amount of a ) Actual damages b ) Punitive damages Here are the screen shots, my brother sent me.

MY BALANCE WAS LISTED AS A CHARGE OFF BUT WAS PAID IN FULL I had traded-in a XXXX XXXX XXXX phone in XXXX for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I sent in the phone, which worked but had a big crack on the top left corner of the screen. When I did the trade-in, XXXX initially gave me a {$250.00} credit toward the purchase of the new XXXX phone, which was {$1000.00}. That amount was paid immediately and in FULL. Then they reversed the {$250.00} credit and said the phone didn't work. I spoke to a supervisor and requested that they have someone else re-evaluate the phone, and they did. After the last evaluation, they stated that the phone worked but had a cracked screen, so they had to adjust the credit from {$250.00} to {$100.00}, with me owing {$150.00} based on the adjusted balance. In the interim, I was billed {$250.00} by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XX/XX/2021, I was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX, NOT XXXX XXXX doing business as XXXX XXXX, NOT to pay the {$250.00} balance because it was incorrect and that they would send XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX an adjustment with the new balance of {$150.00}. They also said the new {$150.00} would show up on my statement in 2-3 billing cycles. I did as they said until I received a bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for $ XXXX AND a collection agency called XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX for {$150.00} in the same week in late XX/XX/2021. I filed a dispute with BOTH companies and contacted XXXX XXXX and informed them of the situation. I was again instructed by XXXX XXXX NOT to pay the balance from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX because the amount was wrong, and the actual amount owed was from the XXXX collection agency. When I asked why it went to collections, I was told by a supervisor at XXXX XXXX that they had a problem processing my credit card payment of {$160.00}, which was the {$150.00} owed plus {$10.00} tax. I was also told by XXXX XXXX that they would notify XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that the balance they had been billing me was incorrect. So I paid the {$150.00} from XXXX that same day as instructed by XXXX XXXX. In the interim, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX rejected my dispute and said that I still owed them the original balance plus interest and late fees, which was almost {$500.00}. When I filed my dispute with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I told them that they were supposed to receive an adjustment from XXXX XXXX for {$150.00} I was told by someone at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( part of their collections division ) that they had NOT received an adjustment. They then sent me " proof '' that I still owed the almost {$500.00} balance. What they actually sent was the adjustment statement I was initially told they had never received. When I tried to file another dispute with this new information, I was denied and told that I could not and that no one would talk to me. I was told that I could email them, snail mail them, or fax them any information I had. I did all three, and every email I sent bounced back, and they never replied to my snail mail or faxes. Instead, in XXXX of 2021, I received a call from another collections agency called Admin Recovery LLC. After speaking to the manager there and sending him the same information I'd sent to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, he agreed that the balance was indeed PAID IN FULL and that the debt was NOT OWED. But XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NEVER took the debt off of my credit report ; instead, they listed it as a charge-off.

Unfortunately I and my husband were out of work at the same time beginning in XXXX XXXX. ( He still is ). To our regret we fell behind with our creditors. We did the best we could to keep up, while receiving unemployment but it was n't enough to handle the expenses. I finally began a new job in XXXX XXXX. However, we were very far behind on paying our bills. By XX/XX/XXXX we caught up somewhat and began arranging settlement payments, where possible. On such settlement was with Admin Recovery LLC where we owed a statement amount ( rep. from the company ) of {$640.00}. He said he could settle with us for {$480.00}. If we could pay that day. I explained our financial situation and asked if we could make two payments against the {$480.00} amount. He stated he understood our predicament and said if I could agree to provide post dated payments, one XX/XX/XXXX for {$350.00}, with the balance by XX/XX/XXXX ( {$130.00} ). I agreed. The payment was taken on time in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that the money was not with drawn from my account and there was nothing pending to be withdrawn. Monday morning, XXXX XXXX, I phoned the rep and asked if the company took the payment. He mentioned that he did not see it processing in our system, so I needed to make a payment through his payables department so I could provide the with the payment information. He transferred and I provided my routing and account numbers so the {$130.00} could be withdrawn from my account. Later that morning, I checked my account online and notice that there was a payment pending for {$290.00} ( the non-settlement ) amount. When I called and asked the rep about the payment, he informed me that he checked on the account and discovered that the original settlement amount of {$350.00} was indeed withdrawn in XX/XX/XXXX and the {$290.00}, he stated, that was owed in XX/XX/XXXX, was processing on his system, unbeknownst to him. So he quickly cancelled the {$130.00} amount the I received a confirmation for ( XXXX ) since the {$290.00} was being processed. After addressing the disparity in his comments and what was actually owed. I mentioned I 'd rather stop the payment and mail a paper check for {$130.00}, after which comment, he transferred me to his director. His director very rudely disputed with me when I let him know what the rep had quoted as a settlement amount, the director yelled at me and stated he would call me back and playback my agreement. Long story short, I stopped payment on the {$290.00} and am mailing a check for {$130.00} amount. I 'm not sure if it will be accepted but, I did not come up with the original amount owed ( {$640.00} ) that 's the amount the rep said I owed. Nor did I come up with the settlement amount of {$480.00}. How could a consumer come up with random numbers like that and have a collection agency accept them. Particularly since neither of those amounts were the current balance stated on the notice I had at the time I made the call. I 'm writing you because I 'm not sure what the recourse will be once the collection agency realized I cancelled the payment. It has always been my intent to pay what is owed, otherwise I would not have initiated the call.. But I believe the collection agency wrongly debited my account. So this letter comes with the intent to make your regulating agency aware of the incident. Thank you in advance.

It's been more than a year that I'm trying to find a way to negociate the debt I have with Visa XXXX XXXX, if I call Visa, they tells me that they can not talk to me, the debt was SOLD to Admin Recovery LLC. I called Admin Recovery LLC and I spoke many times with XXXX XXXX, Vice President of Collection, the debt was {$18000.00}. ON XX/XX/2019, I received a letter from Mr. XXXX stipulating that they cut the debt to {$9000.00} to close my file. Obviously I called Mr. XXXX, and explained that I can not pay this amount in one lumps. He called me back that same week and told me, that he spoke with his contact at XXXX XXXX - Mr. XXXX told me all the time that Visa XXXX XXXX never SOLD the debt. He called me back to tell me the lumpsum can be {$7200.00} or {$1500.00} per month for 6 months. I thanked him, but {$1500.00} per month it is too much. I can pay a lower amount but in the meantime I asked if that will stop reporting CHARGE OFF on my Credit File every month, he told me that it will stop once I'm done paying the debt. He told me that he will call back his contact to see if they can do more or reduce the monthly payment. Between XX/XX/XXXX as of now in XX/XX/XXXX, I never heard from Mr. XXXX again. As I am penalize every month by XXXX XXXX XXXX that claim they SOLD the debt, but report me at all credit bureaus as Charge OFF, I called VISA on XX/XX/2019. Again same answer, nobody can help me because my debt was sold to Admin Recovery LLC. The same day I called Admin Recovery LLC and samething Mr. XXXX will not take my calls since back in XXXX. Never returned any messages since XXXX. - I was in a total incapacity to be helped or to resolve this situation. Today XX/XX/2019, Mr. XXXX took the call and told me that XXXX XXXX XXXX gave him back my file, and confirmed that's why he took the call. He told me, when I asked why he did not answered or returned my calls since XX/XX/XXXX, he said that he did not feel that I will be able to pay. - Nice and encouraging. -- Unfortunately we are turning around, as his numbers {$7200.00} lumpsum or {$1500.00} per month for 6 months, we can not have an agreement. I told him again that I can not commit myself with a high amount of {$1500.00} per month and maybe have other problems. So, the conversation stopped there. Unfortunately.

Despite a {$0.00} balance and oweing nothing to the store, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX are knowingly reporting false information to the credit bureaus. I have called XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX DOZENS of times to to resolve the issue. XXXX XXXX was closed due to XXXX around the time of the incident and I was not able to contact XXXX until almost a year later once they reopened their physical location. XXXX XXXX once reopened acknowledged the mistake as well as provided a statement and email showing the correction and {$0.00} balance on account. This email and statement was sent to me in XXXX of XXXX but failed to do their due diligence to correct the negative impact it caused to my credit profile. Despite XXXX correction, XXXX XXXX continues to report negatively and reported the account as charged off as well as a {$250.00} balance. I have dealt with nothing but incompetence for XXXX years. The mix up occurred XXXX years ago and I have been dealing with this for XXXX years. I have been denied loans and been impacted continually. This has gone on far too long. Around XXXX of XXXX an incorrect furniture delivery was made and returned ( picked up ) by XXXX XXXX shortly after. Im assuming They were negligent in relaying information to their servicer. There are several concerns that I have about the communication tactics from a representative of Admin Recovery. 1. On XXXX/XXXX/15, a person by the name of XXXX from Admin Recovery ' made initial contact about a XXXX Bank debt using my spouse 's cell phone number instead of mine. No other contact was made directly to me prior to this phone call on XXXX/XXXX/15. I never released my spouse 's phone number to XXXX Bank nor did I ever give permission to be contacted on my spouse 's cell phone number. I have no idea how my spouse 's phone number was obtained by Admin Recovery. 2. I briefly spoke with XXXX XXXX on the evening of XXXX/XXXX/15 when he called my husband. He repeatedly asked me to verify my DOB, last four digits of SSN, and/or my address. I refused to verify personal information over the phone because I did not know him nor anything about Admin Recovery. I requested that he send a letter to me instead. In a rude tone, he refused to send a letter and just ended the call with me. 3. On XXXX/XXXX/15, XXXX XXXX called MY cell phone number this time and left me a voicemail message about said XXXX Bank debt. I returned his phone call on XXXX/XXXX/15. I informed XXXX XXXX of the times when it is convenient for him to reach me by phone. His rude reply was that he does n't work during the times that are convenient for me to be reached. I then requested that a co-worker contact me during those times. He said that was not possible because no one works on Wednesday or Friday nights from XXXX - XXXX XXXX. Then he proceeded to tell me that at this point, I lost my rights to be contacted at a time that 's convenient for me. So basically, I must discuss this matter with him during HIS working hours. 4. I, again, requested that he send me a letter verifying this debt so that I can be fully informed to respond. 5. As of today, 10 days after his initial contact with me via my spouse 's phone number instead of mine, I have not received any written communication from Admin Recovery about said XXXX Bank debt.

I submitted a complaint about a collection agency called ADMIN Recovery LLC, about how they violated the FDCPA and their harrassment in trying to accuse me of owing a debt that is not mine. In response to the complaint, they were not truthful and stated incorrect responses. So my 2nd complaint report is to state that they lied about me not stating they have the wrong XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX i received two calls and the first call i answered and they asked for XXXX XXXX and i stated you have the wrong number then the person stated no i dont and I repeated yes you do and I hung up. then the same person called again and i didnt answer. then this person called my father and sister, in which, only my father answered, and ADMIN stated to him that i breached a contract and he sent the letters to two addresses in which my father told him i never lived at those addresses and that you might have the wrong XXXX. Admin left a voicemail on my sisters phone. Then ADMIN called me again on XX/XX/XXXX, stating that i owed XXXX and that was in a breach of contract as of XX/XX/XXXX. And then like a week later is when I received a notice in the mail. So I called ADMIN, and i told them that i already told your company you have the wrong XXXX, I stated I never had a account with XXXX XXXX, I dont owe any credit cards and never had a credit card with that much money and I stated this is Fraud and you have me confused with another XXXX and I requested the phone number of the creditor. Then sent a letter to ADMIN for validation of the debt ... not cease and desist ... and i requested the validation just to prove to ADMIN that they have the wrong person. This complaint that im submitting is to prove that ADMIN is lying in their response to the previous complaint and to prove that they are harassing the wrong person, I called XXXX XXXX and gave my social security number and there is no account with my personal information in their system. Therefore ADMIN Recovery are violating the FDCPA and giving false information to the CFPB.

i have an outstanding debt currently and admin recovery is handling it. i have had them calling repeatedly through out my week both on my personal phone and directly to my job repeatedly, even when i have answered and told them i am busy and can not talk i will call back they still call me back again to harass me the phone right after i hang up. my coworkers have taken messages from a XXXX XXXX that works for admin recovery saying it sounds like an emergency and needs to hear from me today or asap and it sounded very important and the guy was trying to force them to get me on the phone, to give away a direct line which i dont have and to try and get more information on me. XXXX XXXX and admin recovery have called excessively to reach out to me through multiple channels, places and people. he has continued calling different departments at my workplace throughout the previous weeks in attempts someone will get me on the phone with him. i believe this is harassment and or abuse by XXXX XXXX and admin recovery per Fair Debt Collection Practices Act 15 USC 1601. i feel as if i have been harassed and abused. they place repetitious phone calls to both my personal line and reaching out to different coworkers of mine at my place of business near daily and send mail weekly. i have finally been able to reach them as of today, i was unable to speak to XXXX directly after speaking with someone else and expressing the abuse and harassment needs to stop they apologized and said they will speak to XXXX later when he is back with lunch and have him return my phone call. a while later i received a call from his manager. they claim to have removed my works phone number from their system now and wont call back again but that does not excuse or rectify the fact they have already crossed into the harassment territory. calling my phone and work regularly and interrupting our business seems to be harrasment, from my understanding they have not been following the FDCPA.

. months later my home flooded, as did much of the surrounding area that i live in, and insurance would not cover it. I had to stop payments on several things including this furniture acct in order to not lose my home and rebuild three rooms in my home. In XX/XX/XXXX this account went into collections and i set up payments with Admin Recovery to pay this off. the payments came directly out of my checking account each month until this month, XX/XX/XXXX. The reason i stopped payments was due to the balance on the statements. I realized, yes i should have paid attention earlier and did not, the balance every month as on Admin Recovery 's statements is {$2500.00}. The same amount on every statement which is n't even the amount I originally financed. To make matters worse, I checked my credit on XX/XX/XXXX due to being subjected to the XXXX hackng issue, and saw that on my credit report the balance has n't changed either. It states the higher amount there as well and does not reflect any payments at all, even though i have been paying a year now. I called my bank and stopped payments on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with a supervisor at Admin Recovery on XX/XX/XXXX and explained all of this to him. I also told him they will not get any more payments automatically drafted from my account and that I am investigating this further before they get anything and that my hope is to just start paying XXXX XXXX again directly. The only comment the supervisor gave me is that i need to do what i need to do and that they will not give me a balance update until the account is paid in full. That is ridiculous! How will I know it if it is paid off, how long i have, what is left? When i originally set up the payments the man on the phone told me it would be paid off in XX/XX/XXXX, at the amount i am paying a month and this inflated amount that would never happen. Something suspicious is going on here. How am i not allowed to know the balance?

I had credit card debt with XXXX XXXX In XX/XX/2022 a settlement agreement was reached. The lump sum settlement was paid in full, on the spot ( at the time of settlement ). A company named Admin Recovery aggressively contacted ( over multiple phone calls ) in XX/XX/2022 trying to collect the debt not owed ( already settled and paid with the original creditor ). Apparently XXXX XXXX made an error and charged off the debt to Admin Recovery ( even after the settlement agreement was made and paid ). XXXX XXXX ( recovery department ) has acknowledged that the payment was somehow not applied correctly. They assured me that they would correct the situation and " withdraw the debt from Admin Recovery ''. I called Admin Recovery and informed them of this situation and of what XXXX XXXX said. Things were quiet for months. Admin recovery started repeatedly calling me again. I called XXXX XXXX again in early XXXX and after a long wait, and multiple phone transfers, they confirmed that the account is settled in full ( since XX/XX/2022 ). They said they would send a fax to me to confirm that in writing, and also contact Admin Recovery stating that the account is settled in full. I never received the fax. Admin recovery is now again harassing with repeated phone calls and just today ( XX/XX/2022 ) left a long voicemail referencing my name ( and another name ) and debt owed. The voicemail greeting is generic and there would have been no confirmation that the phone number or voicemail belonged to me. This is highly inappropriate. Furthermore, continuing to attempt to collect debt not owed constitutes harassment.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ct XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX Subject : Complaint against Admin Recovery LLC Dear XXXX, I am writing to file a complaint against Admin Recovery LLC XXXX who I believe has violated my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). The debt in question has not been properly verified by Admin Recovery LLC, despite my request for verification. The details about the original debt and the amount owed have not been clarified to me. On multiple occasions, the agents of Admin Recovery LLC have refused to send proof of the debt, stating they will not settle even though I have sent a letter to that effect. They have also disclosed information to a third party, which I believe is a violation of my rights under the FDCPA. Furthermore, once I had informed them about filing a complaint with the FDCPA, the agents stated they would no longer communicate with me. They refused to assist or accept payment and threatened to negatively impact my credit score. I believe these actions are violations of the FDCPA, which requires debt collectors to provide verification of the debt, prohibits disclosure of debt-related information to third parties without the debtor 's consent, and outlines fair and respectful treatment of consumers. I respectfully request that the CFPB investigate this matter and take appropriate action. Please inform me of any steps I need to take to assist in this process. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

Debt collector, Admin Recovery, contacted an unrelated, third party about a debt I owed to a company. This person was not listed as party to the debt so I 'm not sure how Admin Recovery even got their contact information. When Admin Recovery called the person, it was not for the purpose of verifying my contact information. They told this third party my information and what the debt was related to, including the company name even though they were not asked what the call was regarding and did not verify who the third party was before discussing the debt and/or company with the third party. They were also told that the person they were looking for ( me ) could not be reached at the number they were calling, however, they proceeded to discuss my information with the person on the phone anyway. Admin Recovery was told by the third party that the third party was not related to the account in question, had never been related to the account in question, had no knowledge of the account in question and that they should be calling the person who was responsible and listed on the account in question. When I confronted XXXX different reps, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, from Admin Recovery about their company contacting a third party regarding about me, they denied doing so and said that I was lying and making things up. Little do they know I have a screen shot showing where they called the person 's phone along with the date and time of the call.

I spoke with this company back in the summer of XXXX and told them to stop calling my friend about this collection. The person I spoke with told me that when they ca n't get a hold of the debt holder that they call any numbers associated with their address and assured me that they would stop calling my friend. I have recently discovered information that makes me think my payments are not going where they should and stopped those payments last week. They began calling me and they same friend. I spoke with a supervisor on XXXX to discuss the issue of my money and the payments and also brought up again that they are calling my friend. The supervisor assured me that the only number they had for me was my cell. I explained to him what i was told the year prior and they she just told me they called her again and he assured me they did not do that. Now today, XXXX my son, who is a minor, tells me he is now getting the calls and voicemails from this company. I have instructed him to leave the voicemail and the phone number in his history in case they deny it again. They have a working number for me, and I even spoke with a supervisor last week and told them why i stopped payments and what my next steps are and they are now embarrassing my friend and MY CHILD.

This is a follow up to CFPB complaint XXXX credit card account ending in XXXX from XX/XX/2018. A letter from XXXX XXXX was received by me on XX/XX/2018 stating that my complaint was received and that my debt was paid on XX/XX/2018 in the amount of {$6200.00}, which was the agreed upon settlement amount. I was asked to wait up to 45 days for the major credit bureaus to update their records and an apology that XXXX XXXX did not report accurately to the 3 bureaus on my behalf. I also have a letter from Admin Recovery dated XX/XX/2018 stating that this debt was paid. Upon checking my credit reports in preparation to purchase a home, I find that XXXX XXXX is still reporting the account with a balance due of and an open charge off right up until the present time. They have been falsely reporting inaccurate data on my credit report since XX/XX/2018. This is seriously hurting my credit scores and my ability to get any type of loans. This is fraudulent activity by XXXX XXXX and I want this information removed immediately and updated, backdated and all previous reporting that is inaccurate removed from my credit reports in all 3 bureaus. I am happy to provide all written documentation from XXXX XXXX.

In XXXX 2017, I was in credit card debt and could not pay my monthly expenses plus the household bills. I enrolled in a debt relief program with XXXX XXXX XXXX and they took all of my outstanding debt and are helping me resolve/satisfy with my creditors. I sent written notices to all of my creditors indicating that they are to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX and provided their address and phone number regarding the outstanding debt. My credit card with XXXX XXXX XXXX was one of the accounts in the program. They use Admin Recovery LLC as their collection agency. Numerous calls and most recently yesterday XX/X/17 they contacted my XXXX sister looking for me and also my nephew on his cell phone. How is this legal that these companies can contact family members with my personal business that I do n't want anyone to know about??? The phone calls are borderline harassment and I just left a detailed message for the contact person at Admin Recovery XXXX and advised to no longer contact my family members or myself and they need to reach out directly to XXXX XXXX XXXX and provided their contact information.

Admin recovery , LLC called me today XXXX/XXXX/XXXX at XXXX. I blocked the number because I have spoken with someone from this company in the past and asked them to stop calling me. Someone named XXXX then called my husband 's cell phone at XXXX XXXX and told him that they were a debt collector and needed me to call and left his phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX. My husband texted me the information and I called the number back. The guy was very rude when I told him that I was on the do not call list. He asked for my last 4 social numbers and I provided it to him and then he started yelling at me. I told him it was illegal to call my husband who is not a joint owner of any debt of mine. We got into a shouting match and I told him to remove both my and my husband 's number from his registry. He said it was not illegal and that he would keep calling until the debt was resolved. I hung up in his face after that. I think it is illegal for this company to be calling anyone besides me about my debt. They ca n't call my husband or my family and I want this to stop, hence the complaint.

The collection agency Admin Recovery has contacted me regarding a debt. I spoke with XXXX XXXX, and made a monthly payment arrangement to pay the debt in full. He refused to administer the payments on the date I informed him was necessary. The date of the draft is specific because my husband is a XXXX XXXX veteran who is receiving Veteran 's Affairs XXXX Compensation, this limits our budget severely. The payments would not go through until the first of the month and they continued to draft them on the last day of the month resulting in a missed payment. They were unwilling to negotiate a better solution. XXXX XXXX then threatened legal action to scare us into payment. There were multiple occasions that after the payment would fair on the last day of the month he would call my place of employment multiple times and notify them of my debt. Then recently on XX/XX/XXXX2019 he contacted my mother directly on a phone line that is unlisted to notify her of my debt and obligation to pay. He has been harassing and unprofessional.

My name is XXXX XXXX. Because my name is so common, I receive frequent calls from collection agencies seeking other people with the last name XXXX. Today I received a call from a company claiming to be called Admin Recovery seeking a XXXX XXXX. They asked about a credit card that I never have had. I advised them that they had the wrong XXXX XXXX. I have received calls about this account before. The person on the line then asked if they could leave a message, I explained that I had no connection to the debt or the individual they were seeking. They provided a date of birth that was not mine. I stated that I wanted to be removed from their calling list, the individual stated that my phone number was listed as a secondary contact and that they would investigate it. This happened around XXXX CST. I wish to repeat -- I have a common name, I am not the individual they were seeking, I do not know who they were seeking and they refused to simply remove me from their contact listing.

Admin Recovery has been contacting me numerous times on a daily basis. If I do not get the chance to answer the phone call, and I transfer it to voicemail, they will call back again. If I do that again, they will call again. They have contacted my sister, brother-in-law, father, mother, business partners ( coworkers ), mother-in-law, and wife. They continuously still contact them even though my family members have stated they do not wish to be involved. They have left me voicemails stating they know I am the vice president of sales for XXXX XXXX XXXX and they need me to voluntarily resolve this debt willingly. They have left voicemails that legal actions will be taken if not resolved. XXXX they contacted me 3 times from a number, and once from a unknown number. XX/XX/31 called me 5 times, 4 being an unknown number. XXXX called me 4 times. XXXX called me 5 times. XXXX called me 3 times from unknown number. I have copies of all the voicemails as well.

XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX from Admin Recovery LLC at XXXX have left messages with my employer, my friends ( claiming I put my friends name as a reference??? ), left messages on a work phone claiming I breached a contract, etc. and calling my boss immediately after calling my co-worker. They have this tactic of calling one person and then another soon after. I contacted them back and could not get a hold of them except their voicemail, and then spoke to XXXX XXXX and told him that I do not want to be contacted at the workplace, for phone calls to stop since it is before XXXX, and to send me the information so I can dispute because I have nothing from their end of what I owe except when they left a message with my coworker stating its a bill owed to XXXX. They stopped for one week and its starting again. When I asked them to stop calling me and I said goodbye, they would call back. A living nightmare. Please make them stop!!!

A collection agency is contacting my Mother, a XXXX year old with health issues. She told them i do not live there yet they continue to call. On one call they told her to relay the message if i do not contact them before XXXX they would be filing a complaint against me. First of all to tell a non spouse that any action is going to be taking against me is against the FDCPA. They were vague as to why a complaint would be filed which frightened her even more to death to the point when she was trying to give me the message she was unable to find the correct words which happens when she is stressed or flustered. They have one opportunity to leave a message after that the number should have been ceased and never called again yet they have made at least XXXX calls to her. This is a debt I am disputing as over the course of 3 years they continued to take the payment out on the wrong date causing me insufficient funds monthly.

A collection agency called Admin Recovery has been calling my workplace. I 'm usually too busy to take personal phone calls while I 'm working so a coworker will take a message for me. This evening, a representative who called himself " XXXX '' called after I had already left and told my coworker that if I did n't call him back that he was going to call my company 's corporate office to complain and he hung up on her. I do n't appreciate my job being threatened over something like this. The behavior being exhibited by this company is, in my opinion, highly unethical. I moved last XXXX and none of my mail got forwarded. It took a while to get it settled and put me really far behind on some of my bills. I 'm catching up as fast as I can but I 'm a single mother working XXXX hours a week in a XXXX and it 's hard. I ca n't believe that man would threaten to call corporate on me like that!

Admin Recovery contacted me about an alleged debt and refused to send me documentation to validate the debt. The original creditor was notified months prior that I opted out of privacy sharing and release of the account information to nonaffiliated third parties but they sent the information to a third party, Admin Recovery, anyway. I spoke to a Admin Recovery employee ( manager XXXX ) on XX/XX/2023 who said he would send me the written documentation I requested. He failed to comply with the our oral agreement and I did not receive the information. I also advised on that call for them to cease from calling me and XXXX stated they would remove the account and send it back to XXXX XXXX and stop calling me. This information was false because they called me several times on XXXX XXXX. I am requesting for the CFPB to do their job and help me resolve this issue.

On XXXX/XXXX/2015, at XXXX PST, I received a voice mail from XXXX XXXX with Admin Recovery at my place of employment. The message stated the the call is regarding " case file, XXXX, concerning a bad payment passed through XXXX XXXX Bank, in an breach of contract, that looked to have been done maliciously ''. When I called XXXX back, I was not provided the mini-miranda. He told that the account was pre-legal and that their attorney would be looking to sue me in small claims court in XXXX XXXX because the balance was less than {$5000.00}. When asked, he advised me that they are located in XXXX. It would appear that there was no real intent to sue at the time I was told this. Additionally, the voice mail and collector uses term " case fie '' to describe my account number with them in an attempt to misrepresent the legal status of the account.

Admin Recovery LLC repeated phone calls to me trying to get a message to my sister who owes debt. They called me on 3 separate occasions. The last time they called me was from phone number XXXX and only 10 minutes after they called me from their other phone number. They kept calling even after I told them the first time that I do n't keep in contact with the debtor. I would have told them to stop calling me and that I do n't keep in contact with the debtor the second time ( less than a month after their fist call ), but they hung up on me mid sentence. 10 minutes later they called me for the 3rd time. So I decided to file a complaint. They are calling family members multiple times over a debt of a relative.

Admin Recovery called my husband 3 times back to back each day for the past week, called XXXX of my kids 4 times every day from spoofed numbers leaving voicemail stating the call was for me and I could go to jail over this debt, and they call me a minimum of 3 times every day and have since XX/XX/2013! They threaten me, they 've called my mother in law and given her all the details of my debt. They have yet to send any mail since XX/XX/2013. I have asked them to stop calling my job and they still do and tell coworkers what it 's about. I am at a loss. I do n't have the money to pay them. The new Healthcare crisis makes my monthly premium over half my salary. I 'm not making ends meet now.

On the following dates, various people from Admin Recovery have called my husbands work cell phone and my fathers work cell phone asking for me. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. The calls in XXXX were a representative named XXXX XXXX at XXXX extension XXXX. Admin Recovery has my phone number and I have spoken to a few people there requesting that they not call other people looking for me. I do not have a mailing address, but have an email customer service address and have requested at least twice ( XXXX and XXXX ) that they not call either my husband or my father. There has not been any written correspondence received from this company. I do not know why they are calling looking for me.

A XXXX XXXX called and left a message stating that he was with my bank and that there was a payment that was rejected which reached breach of contract of which he never said what the amount was or what the contract was about. He then attempted to call my place of business several times in which I told my operator that it is illegal for creditor, whether I owe or not, to contact me at my place of business. I then received a text from a friend stating that someone called and left her a message which it was the same XXXX XXXX but told her something completely different and that i put her as a reference on an application and that he needed to get a hold of me.

I then spoke with the manager at this company on a different call within 5 minutes of ending the call with the first representative, the manager did not verify my identity and a third party was informed of my personal information. The manager was also abusive and called me a liar without getting proper information to see if I was being truthful or not ; which I was being truthful. Admin Recovery is a rude collection agency. The amount owed to the company is around {$2000.00}

I 've never received any thing written or on paper concerning this debt, first of all. I knew I fell behind on payments, but did n't think it had been that long. I did n't know it had gone to collections until this guy started calling. When I did n't call him back, he has started calling my work place. He was hostile and demanding personal information like my social security number. I told him he is not allowed to call me at work, so he then called human resources to tell them to have me call him. My job is now at risk, and I could be fired if he continues to call, even though he has been asked not to.
