On XX/XX/2022 XXXX from AIG Accounts Interchange Group for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted my mom looking for me. She was told I do not live with her but that she would let me know that she called and give me her number. I was given the number and tried to called but obtained a voicemail. I left my name and number, believing that this was in regards to an insurance quote. I did not receive a call back, but my mom was called again on XX/XX/2022 in the am. I was working on XX/XX/2022 but when I came home I noticed that the number I had called had called my home phone that morning at XXXX. I called the number back at XXXX on XX/XX/2022 and spoke with XXXX XXXX. She let me know she was with AIG and said that I owed a debt to XXXX XXXX and in order to avoid further judiciary action I needed to pay what I owed. I explained to her that I wasn't going to be paying anything, that I didn't know of a debt with XXXX XXXX, and upon speaking for a period of time she finally said she was with a debt collection agency attempting to collect a debt. I told her that I had not received anything from her company by mail regarding the debt, nor had I received any calls personally from them and wanted her to explain why they hadn't called me, but called my mom. XXXX stated I never answered my phone, which they never had tried to call and when she asked to verify my email address, what she had on file wasn't my correct email address. I gave her my correct email address and she forwarded a generic letter to me dated XX/XX/2022 with little to no information on regarding the debt. When I said I would need to investigate this further on my end she sent me the online application with the company that I supposedly signed then stated she knew I had did the application because the IP address matched my location, she stated this multiple times in our conversation then also stated that I had several, as a matter of fact 5 different IP address. I let her know that there are many people that have access to my IP address and that an IP address can be manipulated. At that time I let her know that I would be looking into this but that she was not to contact my mom again and that she contact me by mail only. Since speaking with XXXX on XX/XX/2022, I received phone calls from her on my home phone number on XX/XX/2022 at XXXX, my cell phone XX/XX/2022 at XXXX and again at XXXX, XX/XX/2022 at XXXX and again on my home phone on XX/XX/2022 at XXXX and XXXX. I work and can not make/take personal calls. I have looked into this and am disputing this debt, but she continues to call. I have a letter I am preparing to send AIG.

Days following up to XX/XX/XXXX a XXXX from AIG ( accounts interchange group ) contacted me about a debt from XXXX the XXXX XXXX XXXX. This was a legitimate debt but the way it was handled was very unprofessional. XXXX left me a voicemail on my business phone and because he heard what the name of my company was, he threatened on the call and said thats fine Ill just be contacting your management company and they can give me the information I need to garnish your wages I told him that I was not able to receive personal calls at work and also told him that my company has nothing to do with my debts. I also told him that I didnt want him to contact me anymore just like it says on the companies website. he kept on and on and in a threatening tone the whole time told me that if I didnt pay by the end of business that day, that I would be going to court. I felt that the threats would not end and had just recently received a XXXX at work and did not want my job contacted over something so silly that I ended up paying him the XXXX that was owed. He told me it was too late to do any sort of payment plan eventhough this was the first time I had ever even been contacted about this debt from 2016

Company called in aggressive tone. They stated the debt and amount. Told me they sent an attempt to collect via mail. Which i never received nor was aware of. Told me they were going to file judgement to court or something like that that my debt was in delinquent state. The asked me do i want to resolve this yes or no. I said i cant give you answer until i find out whats going on but he interrupted saying youre not goving me answer of yes or no. The whole call i was stating i couldnt give him an answer at the moment. IN one occasion i said uhh i cant give you answer at the moment. He replied with you said uhh which means youre lying and most likely dont want to continue to resolve this. I told them multiple times i was at work. I aske a question and he started laughing. He tried to rephrase what he was saying to try and get me to give him an answer.

XXXX initially contacted me, a third party, for a debt. I asked for a written statement, which was provided, but without the necessary information. I then sent a debt dispute letter which should have ceased contact, however, it did not, and I've received repeated phone calls and voicemails from the company without the appropriate written response as required by law on behalf of the company. Additionally, they call repeatedly from several different numbers both based out of their state ( NY ) as well as local numbers to me in NH. At one point, they were calling 4 times in a row and leaving voicemails.
