XX/XX/XXXX : I received a phone call from someone who identified their self as " XXXX XXXX
XXXX '' calling on behalf of Access Receivables Management advising me of a past due debt of {$970.00} owed to the VA Dept. of Taxation for business taxes since year XXXX. I was told by XXXX XXXX that this unpaid debt is accruing 6 % interest daily until paid in full. I requested I be sent a debt validation letter to my current address which I provided. I called the VA Dept. of Taxation at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and spoke with a XXXX XXXX XXXX inquiring of any monies owed to the VA Dept . of Taxation, which the representative conducted a query into my individual and business records for the past twenty years, finding no record of me being indebted to the VA Dept. of Taxation. Per XXXX. XXXX, " no record of any past due business taxes, individual tax accounts show a XXXX balance. '' I received a second phone call from someone acting on behalf of Access Receivable Management demanding payment on overdue business taxes allegedly owed to the VA Dept. of Taxation. I advised this person I was awaiting fulfillment of my request of a debt validation letter from Access Receivables Management, and this person told me they could not provide me a letter validating the debt, but have sent me notices of the debt. I never received any notices, or other correspondence from Access Receivables Management via USPS mail services.
Today XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, I received a third phone call from Access Receivables Management.
The person making this call neglected to state their name. I was told by this person that they were attempting to collect on a debt owed to the VA Dept. of Taxation. I requested I be provided a debt validation letter, and this person stated, " I can not provide you a letter validating the debt! '' I was threatened with further collection actions in this phone conversation, and the phone conversation preceding this one. I requested, a third time, I be provided a debt validation letter, and I was met with, " I can not provide you with a debt validation letter. '' I disconnected the phone contact after receiving their response that I would not be provided with a debt validation letter.
XX/XX/XXXX : I received a missed phone contact from Access Receivables Management XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX., while at work. I called the number back and a XXXX XXXX answered the call, and immediately communicated the company 's scripted greeting and debt collector advisement statement. I asked XXXX. XXXX to identify the name of the company she represents, and she replied, " Access Receivable Management. '' I asked XXXX. XXXX to identify the physical address of the company she represents, and she replied, " Why do you need that information? '' I asked XXXX. XXXX to identify the physical address of the company she represents so I could confirm the existence of the company, and she replied, " I'm not going to give you that! '' She refused a third time to provide the identifying information I requested of the company she represents, instead demanding I pay an allegedly owed debt of {$960.00} on the account of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I informed XXXX. XXXX that Access Receivables Management is in violation of my letter of " Cease and Desist '' of all forms of contact with me, and she replied, " There's nothing in the notes section about any such letter! '' I advised XXXX. XXXX that she is currently in violation of my letter demanding all forms of contact attempts stop, and she switch gears and told me unless I pay the amount owed, my wages will be garnished, my credit report will be negatively impacted, and she would have to notify the Dept. of Virginia Taxation of my refusal to pay the alleged debt owed. She abruptly hung up, disconnecting the phone call. Going through my phone call list, I noticed receiving a total of 4 other missed calls from the same company phone number ( XXXX ) which called me today. Those calls came in on the following dates ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX ), all of which appear to be after my letter of " Cease and Desist '' was presented to Access Receivables Management.

I sent the below letter to Access Receivable Management XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to verify a medical debt and they didnt provide proper verification to verify debt. I didnt sign anything releasing my information to be released from XXXX XXXX to a third party which revealed my personal medical history. They are suppose to give me 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt which I never received ... this is improper collection tactics.
... ... ... .. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : After viewing a copy of my credit report, I noticed a collection account placed on my credit report from you in 2018. I am requesting that you allow me to validate the alleged debt. I am unaware of any outstanding medical bills that I possess, and I am seeking the name and hospital/medical provider to which I owe the debt and a detailed breakdown of the fees that I owe.
Additionally, I am allowed under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ( HIPAA ) to protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I did not give permission to any of my current or prior medical providers to release any of my medical information to a third party. I am aware that the HIPAA does allows the release of limited information about me but anything more is to only be revealed with the patients authorization. Therefore, my request is twofoldvalidation of debt and HIPAA authorization.
Please provide breakdown of fees including any collection costs and medical charges.
Provide a copy of my signature with the provider of service to release my medical information to you.
Cease any credit bureau reporting until the debt has been validated by me.
Please send this information to my address listed above and accept this letter, sent certified mail, as my formal debt validation request, which I am allowed under the FDCPA. Please note that withholding the information you received from any medical provider in an attempt to be HIPAA compliant can be a violation of the FDCPA because you will be deceiving me after my written request. I request full documentation of what you received from the provider of service in connection with this alleged debt.
Additionally, any reporting of this debt to the credit bureaus prior to allowing me to validate it is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which can allow me to seek damages from a collection agency. I will await your reply with above requested proof. Upon receiving it, I will correspond back by certified mail.

This is another complaint being opened against access XXXX XXXX and the I will keep complaining about them because they were caught in a lie in a previous complaint. They were reporting that I owed {$2500.00} to the credit bureaus although XXXXXXXX XXXX took care of the balance internally. The company responded that the balance was for {$1700.00}. For the past 4 years they have been reporting the same balance of {$2500.00} and verifying with the credit bureaus that this amount was correct. Today they admitted the balance was {$1700.00} which is what Ive disputed several times and they refused fo update which is a violation of FCRA. I have pulled multiple versions of my credit report and the amount has always said {$2500.00} which was inaccurate. They even reported in XX/XX/XXXX that I paid them directly {$2500.00} which now has re-aged the date of last activity on my credit reports. There should have been any update of date of last activity because theres no activity on a collection account with a XXXX Balance! I have attached the previous CFPB complaint that shows the inconsistency of them never properly verifying the debt. I have proof of payment from the university directly. They said the pay off date reflected as XX/XX/XXXX and per the attached credit report from XXXX XXXX, the balance pay off date reflects XX/XX/XXXX. I asked them to provide the actual contract between XXXX and their company but they refused. XXXXXXXX XXXX provided the proof of our agreement but I do not have anything from this collection company. They have not properly validated the debt and have lied about their attempts to do so to the credit bureaus. if this isnt deleted off my report. Immediately, I will submit this entire file to a lawyer.
They also never provided me with my initial 30 Days to validate the debt letter. This should have never ended up on my credit report.

Our Business has been getting repeated very harassing phone calls from Access Receivables and their employee XXXX XXXX in regards to a debt with XXXX XXXX that we do not owe. He continues to call and yell at myself and our employees. He is attempting to collect debt that we do not owe and has not provided any proof of the debt. They have sent us copies of old contracts, but what they have sent is not current and does not support their claim of the monies owed. They have said it is early termination of an internet service contract, but FCC has banned early termination fees in business data services, so that point is moot. I have told XXXX many times to stop calling and he has ignored this request. He has called repeatedly and upset employees at our business that have nothing to due with vendor interaction or financials by being rude, disrespectful, and yelling.
All bills have been paid through our cancellation date of XXXX/XXXX/2015. Actually we paid our bill for the entire month of XXXX 2015, so there would be no problems. That seems to have not been the case. There has been nothing but problems and actually XXXX owes us money and not the other way around if we were to push the matter. See our correspondences attached that were mailed and emailed to XXXX. I spoke with them about cancellation prior to ending service and provided all they requested. They even came and picked up the equipment in XXXX 2015. At this point we need all contact from the collection company to end. No more phone calls harassing our staff and telling our staff how bad they are and the verbal defamation of our company to our staff. It has been completely unprofessional.

Dear Sir/Madam : I received a notification in the mail stating that I owe {$710.00} dollars from Access Receivables Management XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MD XXXX case number is # XXXX, they were retained by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX I enrolled for a class back in the fall ( XXXX ) for the XXXX XXXX for XXXX to take a class. However, I was unable to take the class due to financial reasons. It is the practice of the school to enroll via student loan or pay by cash, check. or credit card.
I wasn't able to do so as I stated, so normally the class gets dropped if you do not pay by the deadline. Apparently, the school did not drop the class which must have been a glitch is what I can only believe happened. So, now they are trying to collect money for a course I never took.
If you go to the grocery store and place items in a cart and get to the register and don't pay for them, you can't go out of the store with the goods. Any servicing or product based entity will not allow you to receive the merchandise/services without paying. So, how this happened that this got pass someone in the schools administration I do not know. I have been attending this college since XXXX and this has been the process, since then. I do not want this to appear on my credit on keep me from finishing my education. I have a few more courses to take get a dual degree in which I am being told no longer exist. I have exhausted my ability to apply through financial aid this time. The only way I can do so is when I obtain my XXXX XXXX XXXX. My education is important. I need your assistance in resolving this matter.

I routinely check my credit score once per month. On XX/XX/2023, I checked my credit score on XXXX and noticed a XXXX point drop from a credit score of XXXX ( XX/XX/2023 ) to XXXX ( XX/XX/2023 ). Looking at my credit report, I saw a fraudulent " collection '' charge from ACCESS RECEIVABLES MAN on behalf of the original creditor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) for {$530.00}. The fraudulent transaction happened on XX/XX/2023. Subsequently, this collection charge appeared on my XXXX credit report on XX/XX/2023. I also checked my credit reports from XXXX and XXXX, which corroborate the same fraudulent charge. This is identity theft. I have never taken a loan out from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am a XXXX XXXX who has completed XXXX school, XXXX, and XXXX. As a practicing XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Texas, I have no reason to go to community college in XX/XX/2023 in Virginia.
Additionally, I contacted both the debt collector ( ACCESS RECEIVABLES MAN ) as well as the original creditor ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) multiple times by both phone and email with no response from either party. I was never notified regarding a debt owed ( by the debt collection agency or Virginia XXXX XXXX ). A police report has been filed with my local police station regarding this identify theft.

We had compensation insurance through XXXX. The company went out of business and the balance owed was {$500.00}. XXXX increased the balance of the bill 10 times as a result of a several unannounced visits to review our paperwork after we canceled our policy. We were 6 months out of business and had all returned to regular employment. Recently I and my family have received threatening phone calls from Access Receivables Management. They have called me multiple times a day, utilizing different numbers and have recently began calling my family and have left voicemails describing the nature and content of the debt. I am feeing very harassed and my privacy invaded. The debt is inflated as a punitive measure for not taking a risk to take a day of my new job to meet with the XXXX representative during work hours. I offered to meet anytime after. The company is financially closed and no longer had any employees and they are contacting my family which has no connection to the company. I am considering legal ramifications for the harassment and violation of my privacy rights. I have saved voicemails that were sent to my sister and father

I received a notice in the mail last year stating that I owed over {$400.00} to XXXX for services that I had cancelled a few months earlier. I wrote to them and explained that I did not owe that amount because XXXX didn't end my service when I asked them to and when I turned in their equipment.
A year went by and I received another notice saying that I owe the same amount. I sent an email to the collections agency this time and told them that I had documentation to prove my side. I received a phone call from an aggressive collection agent who explained that I didn't turn in a piece of equipment and that I never cancelled my service.
This forced me to go to my records and pull out the documentation showing that I turned in my equipment. I took photos of the three receipts and emailed them to the company. I keep receiving phone calls from rude and aggressive agents that refuse my documented support. I feel like they are abusing me with their phone calls and letters because their client didn't close out my account correctly.

I revived a call from Access Receivables Management a couple weeks ago attempting to collect a debt that was sent to them from the XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX. I am disputing that debt. The debt collector who called identified himself as having served in the XXXX for 4 years, upon hearing that I was in the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had told him that I was in the XXXX XXXX XXXX and was using my Post XXXX XXXX XXXX to attend the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained to him that even though I had submitted a certificate of eligibility and was told the VA would pay my tuition, the VA failed to pay my tuition in a timely fashion and I never got my XXXX.
The debt collector told me that it was wrong for me to use the XXXX to pay living expenses and that I could get in a lot of trouble from the XXXX XXXX for doing that. This was dishonest on his part and an attempt ti scare and intimidate me. This violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

I had an account with XXXX for internet service. After the end of my contract period, I contacted them by phone to cancel my service. I continued to receive bills and so I notified them by mail twice that I had canceled my service. Since I refused to pay bills generated after I canceled my service, after XXXX 4 months, they stopped billing me and canceled my account. They then sent a package to me so that I could return their equipment. I did so.
Several months later they contacted me saying that I owed them for the XXXX 4 months of service after I canceled my service and that I owed for the equipment. I informed them then the information I related above.
Now, they 've hired a collection agency - Access Receivables Management - who is attempting to collect the same invalid debt. I owe XXXX nothing since I always paid my bills in a timely fashion until I canceled my service, and I returned their equipment.

Received notification of XXXX owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Contacted collection agency via email and stated debt was not mine and requested validation. XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter in the mail that was supposed to be the debt validation. The paperwork sent has the date the account was opened and the amount owed. The signature on the contract is not mine nor does the paperwork indicate the location where the account was opened nor a copy of the identification presented/collected at the time the application was completed and the account opened.
Whomever opened the account provided my checking account information for automatic debit of the payments. When I noticed the deductions I contacted my bank and reported the activity as fraudulent.
That was over three years ago. I was never contacted about this account or the alleged delinquent payments until last week.
Again I have no knowledge of this account.

I received a letter dated XX/XX/19 from Access Receivables about collection. I was out of town when the letter was received but on XX/XX/XXXX wrote a letter to the company requesting validation of the debt. I have continued to get daily phone calls and messages- many while I am working. I called them back today and reiterated that I have requested validation and will not talk to them - not to call me - while I have not received validation. The rep began to argue with me that they will not send me a personal letter and how else are they supposed to contact me. I reminded her it is my legal right to request validation in writing and they are disturbing my ability to work. She STILL did not say they would not call or that they would send me a letter ( as I understand is required ) and raised her voice so I terminated the call

Access Management is the name given. The number they are calling from is XXXX. The caller ID is ACESSRECVBLES.It 's a robocall. This is a landline they are calling.
They call almost daily. My experience is that they are fishing for a debtor by using the least expensive, laziest methods. One of which is to simply robocall anyone with a similiar name using a computerized database. I know of no debts that me or my family owe that are outstanding. Googling this company does bring up the name of a supposed " ethical '' debt collector.
If a debt collector calls me wanting to know if so and so can be reached at my number, I tell them that I will let them know after they pay {$15.00} to my XXXX account. They usually unceremoniously hang up.

I have told XXXX many times to stop calling and he has ignored this request. He has called and upset employees at our business that have nothing to due with vendor interaction or financials by being rude, disrespectful, and yelling.

I was making school payments for XXXX University XXXX XXXX Campus on my original balance of {$980.00} ( approximately ) and I missed a payment and they sent it to a collection Agency ( Access Receivables ). I had no Idea that it was sent to Collection until I see it on my credit report. The collection agency did n't sent me a mail to my address, did n't send me an email or a phone call.
I have contacted Access receivables, but the manager did n't want to assess the situation.
As a taxpayer citizen, I have a right to be notified by certified mail that I have to settle a debt, but in this case just because they have the power to post it to my credit, they did.

I would like to address this issue of this inaccurate account on my credit report. I followed your advice about contacting the collector.I sent them a letter by certified mail and it was received on XX/XX/2018 and asked them to verify the debt and investigate. As oftodaythey still have not responded to me.The company has not responded in any way. None of the credit bureaus have remedied this issue. I thought they had 30 days to investigate and fix the inaccurate account listed. It has been over 45 days and this debt has not been verified nor has it been removed from my credit profile.

XXXX/XXXX has been trying to collect on an account on my business that is for an account that was at a previous address and the account was closed and the phone lines moved to another provider, yet XXXX/XXXX continued to bill me at the old address. I have talked to them multiple times and written letters stating this and they have agreed that it is incorrect. They have since turned the account over to collections with access Receivevables who continues to call and pester to collect this, even though I have also written to them asking for verification, which they have not provided.

I recently pulled my reports and noticed you are reporting the incorrect balance owed and date paid for this account XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. In fact, per their correspondence, my debt is not owed by Access Receivable Management and was satisfied internally. The information is being reported by your company and the bureaus are different, this means the account has not been properly verified. Most recently, this company reported that my last payment activity was in XX/XX/2021 which is incorrect. They are now continually re-aging my account which is against the FCRA.

I signed a contract with XXXX for fiber internet, they added a portability clause which stated if we moved after paying for service for a year and gave 3 months notice, theyd install fiber in our new location. Internet was paid for over a year, sufficient notice was given and XXXX refused to install fiber to provide services as outlined in the contract, stating it was too expensive to install fiber. XXXX still has been trying to collect this debt and is now harassing my dental office, leaving several messages on media intended for patient communication.

I acquired some assets of a company, but not the entire company. Today he has called 12 times so far and it 's not quite XXXX. He has yelled at me multiple times and will not stop calling, even after I told him he was harassing me.

I never had the chance to find out what this debt was.
Access Receivables purposefully sent my debt to an address I did n't live, and even worse when they marked for collection for XXXX and again in XXXX.
The only reason I knew this is because I pulled my credit report through the XXXX contracting bureaus.
They 're playing with Statute of Limitations of my debt, and I 'm really frustrated with their illegal practices.
I lost XXXX points of my credit all of a sudden, because of them. I need it back.
