ABR Recovery Services continually violates my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and Fair Credit Reporting Act. ABR Recovery services contacted my in XX/XX/XXXX though the telephone, stating that I owe them money based off a collection account I had with XXXX XXXX. I instantly told them that I was in the process of paying this debt off with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had disputed this account with XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and they furnished account verification within 30 days. I setup a payment agreement and completed it. After speaking with ABR Recovery in XX/XX/XXXX, I emailed them the information they requested on XX/XX/XXXX on my payment agreement with XXXX XXXX, and I requested account verification from them. The company never responded to the email or furnished account verification to this day. They proceeded to place a collection account through all 3 credit bureaus. I instantly disputed the accounts and they were removed. They again were placed there in XX/XX/XXXX and I disputed the account again. I contacted ABR Recovery Services on XX/XX/XXXX and furnished the payoff letter from XXXX XXXX. The account was removed again, only to be placed back on there multiple more times since. ABR Recovery Services has violated my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act : 1. They continue to try to collect a debt they have knowledge has been paid and is not owed to them. 2. Threatened legal action against me 3. Furnish false information to the credit bureaus ; XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. ABR Recovery Services has violated my rights under the Fair Collection Practices Act : Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Section 809. Validation of debts If the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period described in subsection ( a ) that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor, the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or any copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector. Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), ABR Recovery Services, is required by federal law to verify through the physical verification of the original signed certified consumer contract of all accounts I request to be posted and or reported on a credit report. I have submitted multiple complaints through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to no avail. How can a company continue to operate outside the law and violate my rights afforded to me though the above mentioned laws?

In XX/XX/XXXX I was declined for a loan for my son to attend school This decline was due to incorrect information being reported on my XXXX credit report. I immediately filed a dispute with XXXX stating the account was not mine. I was informed by XXXX that they contacted the collection agency, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they stated it is mine. I then filed a second dispute stating that it appears as those the collection agency has re- aged a debt and is reporting it as new. The debt is reported as opened XX/XX/XXXX, then first delinquency in XX/XX/XXXX ( clearly not accurate ) then major delinquency in XX/XX/XXXX then reported in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX contacted me again to say that the collection agency still reports it is mine. I was told by XXXX to contact the collection agency because XXXX does is contact the company and the company says it is mine an that's the end of the story. I contacted ABR, albeit reluctantly because I felt like XXXX did not do their due diligence and I am afraid of repercussions from the collection company and XXXX. At ABR I spoke with XXXX who stated that the account was opened in XX/XX/XXXX and charged off in XX/XX/XXXX and he said he was still within his rights to pursue this debt. He said he was happy to reach a settlement with me and I could make payments. I told him he was crazy because this debt was charged off. He said I was rude and hung up on me. I have not contacted him again. The debt is on my credit report as new and immediately delinquent which is false and is hurting my credit and my ability to help my son. This was off my credit report and before this my score with XXXX was over 700 and now it is down to like XXXX. That should not be allowed especially because it is false information.

ABR Recovery Services LLC continues to NOT address the second account they are reporting with XXXX. Attached is a copy of my credit report with the 2nd account information that is incorrect that ABR refuses to address. ABR has never even written me on this account. As you can see on the attached report it shows the account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX which is NOT correct. They are showing a Date of 1st delinquency of XX/XX/XXXX which is NOT correct as well. ABR recovery services keeps responding with the first account dates and have not addressed the fact they are reporting two delinquency accounts to XXXX, not just the first one. This second account was opened falsely and illegally as debt that I owe from XX/XX/XXXX. I have not owned an XXXX account in XX/XX/XXXX. Please remove this second account and stop reporting it to XXXX with incorrect and false information. My next step is to get a consumer debt lawyer and sue ABR Recovery Services LLC over false reporting, Re-aging past accounts and punitive damages. I will also contact the Attorney General in California over this account that is not being responded to. I will complain every single day until ABR Recovery services actually reads my documents and acknowledges the mistakes made in their reporting. If ABR recovery has been given false information from previous collection agencies, they should be fixed properly with the proof I have from HSBC. I'm asking ABR Recovery Services LLC to seize reporting re-aged accounts on my credit profile. I AM ASKING YOU TO READ MY CREDIT DOCUMENT SHOWING A 2nd ACCOUNT WITH A FALSE ACCOUNT NUMBER AND FALSE DATES, REPORTING THE SAME {$1200.00} as the FIRST ACCOUNT.

ABR recovery Services continues to verify false information on my credit profile. They continue to dispute the accuracy of their own reporting. I have only ever had ( 2 ) XXXX credit cards ever. Both were charged off in XXXX and XXXX. ABR continues to report that the first date of delinquency was XX/XX/XXXX on one account and XX/XX/XXXX on another account. Although ABR Recovery services admits that I only have ( 1 ) collection account, they continue to verify with XXXX ( 2 ) collection accounts. I am asking ABR to stop reporting the account # XXXX. They are knowingly reporting ( 2 ) accounts falsely. I have continued to dispute ABR Recovery Services on both accounts as being false as I have proof from the original creditor that these accounts were charged off in XXXX and XXXX. I am including XXXX into this complaint. Because ABR continues to say these are different accounts. The account numbers do not match up because ABR and XXXX use different account numbers from each other. In order to link these accounts, I need more proof that these accounts have been re-aged. I need from XXXX : All accounts associated with my name. I need to verify that I have only owned ( 2 ) accounts EVER. I need exact dates of 1st delinquency, charge off date, dates opened and amounts if you have them. I NEED THIS FOR ALL ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATED WITH MY NAME. Again, I need ALL accounts that I have ever owned with XXXX, the original creditor. I NEED XXXX IN WRITING TO STATE THAT THEY HAVE VERIFIED AND HAVE STATED ALL ACCOUNTS ASSOCIATED WITH MY NAME AND THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER ACCOUNTS OTHER THAN WHAT IS LISTED. Thank you for your cooperation.

I received notification from ABR Recovery Services in XXXX 2017. They stated that I owed them {$1300.00} for a debt owed to XXXX XXXX .

I immediately disputed this account on XXXX XXXX , 2017 through email. I stated the reason for the dispute is that this company was the 5th company trying to collect on this debt, in which I had already made a payment with another agency and had a future payment plan.

I received notification that the email was delivered on XXXX XXXX , 2017, but ABR Recovery Services failed to respond to my dispute. At the time I had an agreement with XXXX XXXX whom was working on behalf of XXXX XXXX .

I received a call from ABR Recovery Services on XXXX XXXX , 2017. They were continuing to try and collect on this debt. I stated to them that I disputed this in XXXX and had no response from them. They proceeded to pass me along to an " account manager. '' The man stated that he owned the debt and would delete the debt off my credit report and offered me a 20 percent discount. I stated I was making my final payment to XXXX XXXX . I made the final payment to XXXX XXXX and have settled the account.

On XXXX XXXX , 2017 I received alerts from XXXX XXXX indicating a new collection account. ABR Recovery reported this debt to XXXX XXXX and XXXX credit agencies. I instantly disputed the disputed this with XXXX Bureaus.

ABR Recovery continues to submit false information to the credit bureaus and this is affecting my credit and making it impossible to achieve good rates and difficulty obtaining loans.

On XX/XX/2017 I received a letter offering a pre-reporting settlement offer on a credit card debt by a collection agency ( ABR ). Per the letter I had 30 days to dispute the validity of the claim of debt owed. I sent in a letter explaining that this debt had come from identity theft that had happened several years ago and had been cleared up on my credit report. I had asked for proof of ownership of the debt, including but not limited to my driver license number, a signature, or anything else showing this debt to be mine. I did not receive a response back, instead they reported this collection on my credit report with XXXX. This debt had been settled years ago, and removed from my credit report years ago as it was found that several accounts had been used without my authorization. This should have been long ago settled. To see this collection was sold off again and reappearing on my credit report seems to be abuse of credit collection tactics. I complied with writing a letter disputing the claim which should have kept them from being able to report on my credit until this matter was resolved. ABR also included on my credit report that this account was first deliquent XX/XX/2017, thus starting original debt in question, all over. This original debt is nearly 7 years old and took me nearly 3 years to have removed and go through the identity theft process. Thank you for looking into this matter.

ABR Recovery keeps reporting the same time barred debt on my XXXX Credit report I have disputed several times and XXXX says they verified it was mine and leaves it on my report ABR recovery changes the open date and account number so that XXXX claims it not to be a duplicate Debt. This is a XXXX account that has has no payments made previous to XX/XX/XXXX. That is the last email confirmation I received from them before the debt was charged off so obviously payments were not being made months previous to this date. I have contacted ABR and they refuse to remove the Debt even when I sent them proof thats its time barred and they can no longer report. ABR Recovery claims they do not have to follow California 's guidelines. I have asked for proof that this is a new debt as they are reporting an open date of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and they do not provide anything because they don't have it. XXXX at ABR recovery even admitted over the phone it was a old XXXX debt. ABR also admitted they changed the dates to current dates to be able to report in hopes to get some money. My other credit cards are decreasing my limits and I can not refinance my house to pay my medical debts from XXXX XXXX do to ABR Recoveries incorrect reporting of this time barred debt. It is crucial that this gets taken care of correctly

A person named " XXXX '' stated he was calling from " ANR Recovery '' and that I owed a debt in the amount of {$500.00} to " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' due to an outstanding payday loan taken in 2016. ( Did not happen ) He also said his company is called XXXX XXXX. He said that he mailed me verification of the debt 90 days ago and since I didn't respond, he is now calling to see if I want to settle the debt for {$600.00}. If not, the debt has accumulated penalties and interest and now totals {$2700.00}. He said it would be reported on my credit as well as more collection efforts would be done. I asked who the original creditor was ( i.e., XXXX, XXXX, etc ) He said he did not have that information and only XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was actually owed the money as they were the lender for all the payday loan companies. He had my social security number, birthday, driver 's license number, address and phone number. I asked for a phone number where I could call him back. He gave me the number of XXXX. I did attempt to call that number from a different phone and he did answer - but his identification of who he was was muffled. I hung up. The number he actually called me from was XXXX.

ABR Recovery Services continually harasses me and places false information on my credit report. I previously filed multiple complaints against ABR Recovery Services : Complaints XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. ABR Recovery Services claims I owed them a debt that I had already settled and paid with another creditor, XXXX XXXX. I submitted this paperwork directly to ABR Recovery Services and all the major credit reporting agencies in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX.ABR Recovery Services removed the reporting to the credit bureaus and multiple attempts. To my dismay on XX/XX/ I received a credit alert stating I had a new collection account placed on my XXXX report from ABR Recovery Services. I immediately called XXXX to dispute this. They have been no help. I am tired of being harassed by this company. This is the third time that they have violated my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I demand that they quit reporting false information and remove any reports of the account they have. I believe this company should be served a penalty for continued harassment and cause citizens duress.

ABR Recovery Services LLC has illegally tried to re-age my account. ABR claims that my account was opened on XX/XX/XXXX, when in fact it was opened XX/XX/XXXX as proof by the ATTACHED LETTER BY XXXX for them to READ once again. They also claim this was charged off XX/XX/XXXX which is also incorrect as stated by the original creditor, XXXX. The letter has been attached to this complaint and has been sent to them. The account date of 1st delinquency was XX/XX/XXXX. The credit bureaus maximum reporting time is 7 1/2 years from that date as explained by XXXX. That would put this account well past the statue of limitations on reporting this account on my file. This account was not charged off by XXXX XX/XX/XXXX as ABR Recovery Services has falsely claimed. Their information is either incorrect or they are knowingly trying to re-age my account to try to collect a debt I am no longer liable for. ABR RECOVERY SERVICES, PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED LETTER BY XXXX PROVING THAT THIS ACCOUNT IS PAST THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT IS ALLOWED TO BE REPORTED TO XXXX!

I have attempted multiple times to have ABR Recovery Services quit reporting false information on my credit report. They are continuing to report that I have a balance and owe them money for a collection account that I paid off to another creditor. I have supplied this documentation to ABR Recovery Services and they have failed to remove their false reporting of this account to Equifax. I was denied a car loan due to this false report. I have do not and have never owed this company any money for the account that they are reporting. I have disputed this account directly XXXX XXXX, XXXX and to this day they have failed to respond to my dispute. I have also called to dispute this multiple times and the " XXXX ' offered me a 20 % discount and to have the account removed once I have completed paying the account. I explained that he was trying to collect on an account that was previously paid to another collector. This company is violating multiple federal laws by falsely reporting on my credit report and offering pay to remove services.

There is an account that is on my credit report with arb recovery services that is in a derogatory status. I had paid this account off with another creditor in XX/XX/2014. I contacted ABR Recovery services and they advise that they have removed me from their files and they have contacted XXXX and reported to them that the account has been removed. This is still showing on my credit report months later. I tried to file a dispute with XXXX and they report that the account is correctly reported on my file. I have filed a complaint with ABR recovery services and they advise that the issue is resolved on their end ( see attached complaint form from your office. ) I tried a second dispute with XXXX and their system will not let me file a complaint online. I am in the middle of trying to purchase a new car and can not because this negatively effects my credit. I have not had any issues like this until the XXXX breech. XXXX AND ABR RECOVERY SERVICES SEEM TO HAVE INEFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION.

Last year XXXX alerted me to a hit on my report. I contacted ABR Recovery Services LLC and they were unable to provide proof the debt was mine. I am a government cleared person and wanted this matter removed from my bureau ( XXXX ). The agency personnel put in writing if I paid a reduced amount it would be removed. I paid. Not removed. I have email traffic that this debt was paid and was to be removed from the agency. The only thing that was done was the balance was XXXX out on the report. In XX/XX/XXXX of this year, ANOTHER ABR hit on my report. Original amount and company - a duplicate. I contacted XXXX and challenged. Ever try to get anything done with XXXX? They told me to contact ABR Recovery. Needless to say, both accounts are still on my report. I emailed the agency and contacts I original dealt with and they replied they would remove both accounts. This has not been done. Neither dates on either of the ABR Recovery reports match, are even close, or have been deleted.

A company called ABR Recovery Service keeps putting a derogatory collection on my credit report that is decades old. They keep putting it on there as if it were a new debt asking for {$1100.00}. The name of the original credit card company is XXXX, and I think I had a credit card with them over 20 years ago, but cut it up when I got divorced in XXXX. Now, ABR Recovery Service can't even keep track of how many times they have put this on my credit report, so now the exact same thing is showing up on my credit report twice, only on one they put the origination date of XX/XX/XXXX and on the other an origination date of XX/XX/XXXX, so it is completely destroying my credit on XXXX because it's appearing as two separate derogatory marks on my credit. To be clear, nothing was " originated '' on either of those dates. I looked it up and this is called illegal re-aging, taking a very old debt and making it look like it's new.

I am attaching both accounts listed on my credit report that you guys keep changing dates on. I want a FULL explanation of both accounts. Company reported a debt I do not owe to the Credit Reporting Agency. I contacted them and notified this was not my debt. They notified me that ABR Recovery " verified '' the debt. I notified them that it was a fraudulent account because I don't owe this yet it has effected my credit score. I received a letter from them today for the first time they have ever contacted me. Not mine. The letter seemed to be copied on an old fax type machine, the envelope was scotch tape sealed ... very suspicious. I checked them on line and found that they have had complaints before. The letter was threatening and accusatory and made legal threats they can not engage in in Texas.

This account is being reported as being opened XX/XX/XXXX which is not correct. It also is showing a date of XX/XX/XXXX as the date of 1st delinquency, which is also not correct. With a balance amount of {$1200.00}. This debt is being falsely reported to XXXX in an attempt to collect a debt that I am not liable for. It is being reported the original creditor as XXXX, with incorrect information.

I am recieving continuous phone calls from a company trying to collect a debt for XXXX from XXXX which i do not believe is mine. I have repeatedly informed them it is not mine and continue to get phone calls threatening to take legal action and threats to sue me or have me arrested. They have also reported it to my credit file with the 3 reporting agencies as a debt being opened in XXXX, resulting in a drop in my credit score and for other creditors to reduce my credit lines due to this negative report. I have disputed this on my credit file.

ABR Recovery LLC Is trying to collect a debt on this companys behalf XXXX is the orginal creditor - I have reached out to both companies and have come to know solution as of yet I have just recently filed a complaint with the XXXX of New York against ABR Recovery LLC. The amount that they are trying to collect on behalf of XXXX is {$1100.00} - I need debt validation under the FCRA. Each time I tried to reach out to this collection agency I get several different false replies which leads me to believe that this is fraud.

ABR Recovery is claiming this account was opened by me. I never opened this account, or signed for this account, or used the account. It was opened by someone else. Please provide proof that this account was opened my me. I have never negotiated with ABR Recovery. I called inquiring about this fictitious debt they claim I owe. It's simple. Provide proof I opened this account. They will not be able to provide proof, because I never opened it.

ABR recovery placed a collection on my XXXX report over a year ago. I disputed that charge since it was an extremely old dead account which XXXX said was uncollectable. It was taken off my report and thought that was the end of it. On XX/XX/2018 they placed the same account back on my report as a new debt and refuse to take it off. It is for {$1000.00} I am constantly receiving threatening/harassing phone calls.

Previous complaint filed - collection agency wording was VERY confusing - no proofreading done at all. Collector stated they can sue - statue of limitations has surpassed the 4yrs for the state of Tx. Also, agency reported they can report for 7yrs from date of charge off - thats incorrect SOL is 7 yrs from last payment or either first day of delinquency. Ive done plenty research on SOL in Texas.
