On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter delivered to a former residential address of mine from a debt collection company named XXXX XXXX XXXX ( CCI ). The letter was dated XX/XX/XXXX. The letter claimed I owed {$30.00} to XXXX, a utility company based in Illinois. I had never before received any form of communication regarding this debt ( no phone calls, letters, emails, etc. ). I immediately called CCI ( the number listed on the letter ) and spoke with a representative named XXXX XXXX. She looked up the provided account numbers, verified that the debt had been sent to them, but that they no longer had the account. She could not tell me where the account had been transferred, and recommended I call XXXX directly. I immediately called XXXX and spoke with a representative named XXXX ( she would not provide me with her last name or any other type of identification information ). XXXX told me the {$30.00} was allegedly owed on XX/XX/XXXX and issued in the form of a paper bill on XX/XX/XXXX for {$29.00} ( she could not explain why the new total was now {$30.00} ). I explained to her that I had had several years ago ( many years prior to XXXX ) had an account with XXXX when I lived in XXXX, but that all of those bills had been set up as automatic payments straight from my banking account. She told me that the debt had been transferred to CCI, to which I explained that they no longer had the account. She then said it must have been transferred then to another debt collection agency, but she could not tell me what company and admitted to not knowing who was handling the alleged debt. I then asked her if she could produce the original bill owed to show what services it came from or any proof that they had sent me notices of said debt, and also the different debt collection agencies they may have sent the debt to, since I had never before received any notification of this debt ( it's now nearly 3 years later at this time ). She put me on hold and spoke with a supervisor, and she told me that they would not be able to provide me any copies of the bill or services rendered, or any other proof of a debt owed. She also was able to confirm all of my personal information ( phone number and email ) and acknowledged that they could have contacted me through those avenues regarding the alleged debt. She also was unable to find any of the other debt collection agencies that the account had been sent to. She then recommended that I file a complaint with the CFPB because XXXX was unable to find or prove that I owed them any debt. I have not received any communications from XXXX or any other debt collection agency since then to present, XX/XX/XXXX.

I had cell phone service with XXXX XXXX for about 10 years. They kept going up on the rates for a unlimited family plan of 3 lines. After my 2 year contract period was up I decided not to renew it. Well in 2011 XXXX XXXX stopped offering contracts, your bills were month to month unless you bought a new device from them. I contact XXXX XXXX and explained to them that I no longer wanted phone service with them and after I pay my current bill they can discontinue my services.The CSR said it was fine and that's because they no longer do contacts. Well about 2 years later I check my credit report and I see XXXX XXXX in the collections part for {$1400.00} and I had just opened up a account with them. I contacted XXXX XXXX, the CSR states that I was charged a line cancellation fee for 3 lines. I stated that was impossible because my contract was up, I didn't purchase any new devices and I had phone service with them for about 10 years. I also stated XXXX XXXX no longer do contracts anyway they do month to month unless you purchase a device. The CSR then stated well you're charged for it and you need to pay it. I then disputed it on my credit reports. It was removed. They keep selling it and replacing it on my credit like I just opened up a phone acct making a negative collection and lowering my score. This has been right at 7 years ago if not more.

A man who's name is XXXX XXXX, works for CCI, has contacted me twice regarding past due amount on a decedent that I had medical power of attorney a year prior to her death. Four months before she died, her daughter, being her living next of kin, took over the medical power of attorney. She passed at the end of XXXX last year and the nursing home she was in charged her for the entire month of XXXX ( she doesn't owe for XXXX because she wasn't alive ). No one was appointed through court documents as her executor through the state. I tried explaining all of this to XXXX XXXX and he stated he did not care about the laws where I'm from that the amount is owed. I informed him that medical power of attorney expires when a person has passed away and that medical power of attorney has nothing to do with financial. He stated he did not care that the money is owed. He also talked overtop of me, I tried to call back to ask for a supervisor and he answered the phone and said are you done, you haven't had enough. I have spoke to a lawyer regarding this harrassment. XXXX XXXX is very unprofessional and should not be talking to people like this! I have blocked their number and XXXX still finds a way to call from different numbers.

15 U.S. Code $ 1681c-2 a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an allege identity theft, not later that 4 business days after the date of receipt. it has been 30 days and your are in violation of this law because i am a victim of identity theft!!!! please delete these items IMMEDIATELY! These accounts should not be furnished on my consumer report as they are in VIOLATION!!! To whom it may concern, I disagree with a balance reported on my credit by CCI collection company. I talked to XXXX XXXX on multiple occasions and asked them to provide me with all documents and account history to prove I owe them {$330.00}. Until now I never received anything that would show me I owe them that balance. I even reached out to the credit bureaus to help me to resolve this issue. I have been a great customer and paid all my bills on time with XXXX XXXX. As far as I remember I do not owe this company anything. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX A & O Recoveries has sent a letter in the mail and this letter does not include any verification that this account belongs to me. I have no knowledge of this account and have contacted the company. Upon, further research the debtor could not provide original contract or signatures. There hasn't been no form of communication or contract for this accused debt at all. According to the FCRA, A & O Recoveries has violated my rights as a consumer and I am requesting legal action to seize all collection activities and future communication.

This company is a fraud, they seem to be praying on people. I have asked for the reason if this bill and who they are to prevail they continue to send me threats of balance they say I owe them. I checked my credit report on XX/XX/23 because I was denied a car loan due to a collection account. The collection agency is CCI for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I moved away and was no longer in the service area for their service. I did not have a past due bill with them. I believe someone obtained service in my name, but this account does not belong to me. On XX/XX/XXXX, I got 3 calls from 2 different numbers from a debt collector called A & O Recovery for a place called XXXX. I advised it was XXXX XXXX and hung up. The lady called twice and threatened a wage assignment and i asked her to call back at the legal time. I have never received any mailing or documents stating i owe a loan or even who the company is but Im being threatened for a wage assignment. I dispute this debt as i never had a payday loan.

I received a call from number XXXX, XXXX, MO, for several days and without leaving a voice mail message. I called them back after a few days and they asked me if I was XXXX XXXX. I asked them what this call was regarding and company name. The representative said it was " CCI '', and hat there was a complaint against me and that I was going to be arrested and my property taken. I told her that his was an illegal debt collection practice and hung up.

In 2012 the apartment l was renting flooded.l had to move quickly and at the time the light bill was only {$210.00}. I called to cancel service but they didnt and continued to bill me. I made an offer to a debt collector. They accepted my offer. I sent them a bank check by registered mail. I received the ticket that they had signed and received my payment. I went to the bank and got a photo copy of the cancelled check the debt collector had been paid by. The debt collector keeps calling me saying they have not been paid.
