I called my XXXX XXXX company at XXXX, they directed me to an agent from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. He told me that if I sign up with their service I will automatically be signed up to the 10 year loan forgiveness program. The fee was {$990.00}. I asked him several times that if I sign up and pay the fee I will only pay student loans for 10 years, he said yes. So I agreed to the fees. Once my loans were consolidated and under XXXX XXXX, they told me I was not yet enrolled in the forgiveness program. So I feel that I was lied and scammed by XXXX XXXX. They told me as soon as I pay the processing fee I would be enrolled in the forgiveness program. The agent should have told me that I had to submit an application directly to XXXX XXXX and that there were further steps before I would be enrolled in the forgiveness program. I would have not paid their company if I had to do it myself anyway. Their fee is ridiculously high, {$990.00}. They should have only charged {$300.00} at the most. They should also tell their clients that they are a 3rd party that assists with loan management but that clients can submit forms and applications directly to XXXX XXXX. Companies like these should not exist because they are only taking away more money from students by making it seem that they helping. Students with loans need to be advised on what to do about their loans and options that they have but not be charged {$1000.00} for it, that is too high. There are also emails between me and the company where they asked for recent income but after i emailed them my paystubs, they failed to process but will again send another email to ask for income verification. They are not timely or organized in how they request and process client 's documents. It caused me to make a payment that was not updated timely. I made a payment of {$300.00} but then got a letter a week later that the payment amount was changed. I emailed paystubs and XXXX XXXX verification on XX/XX/XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX they asked for my income verification. It takes them a month to respond and with the wrong response. For other consumers, don't think that 3rd party companies will help. They will only charge a huge fee for things you can do yourself. Speak directly to XXXX XXXX for the loan forgiveness programs.

On XX/XX/XXXX I called a number in which I found on an old department of student loan statement. 77 Elite also known as XXXX XXXX XXXX answered the phone. I spoke with XXXX XXXX who told me that the company would assist me with getting out of default with my loans, prevent the IRS from garnishing my income tax refund, and would set me up in a program known as the Revised Payment Plan. Under this plan, XXXX informed me, that I would pay approximately {$220.00} in principle payments for the next 10 yrs ( 120 payments ), and that after the 10 yrs is up I would be eligible for another plan known as a teacher loan forgiveness plan which would wipe out the remainder of my federal student loan amount on the principle, interest and that collection costs and fees would also be removed at the end of the 120 payments. XXXX stated all this would be done for a small fee of {$920.00} which was paid by me in three increments for the month of XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and was told that they have never heard of the company. I called the company and was told they have been around for many years and they urged me to fax in my limited power of attorney form. Yesterday ( XX/XX/XXXX ) 77 Elite/XXXX XXXX XXXX also told me that my loans were being controlled by a collection agency known as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and that I was accruing $ XXXX/mn in interest fees. Yesterday, after many called to the Department of Education, the Department of Justice XXXX XXXX XXXX, and the Department of Justice 's US Attorney 's Office I was told by XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), the attorney that has my student loan case, that my loans are NOT being held by a collection agency. After my conversation with Attorney XXXX, I called the Department of Education to ask if 77 Elite or XXXX XXXX XXXX makes student loan payments for students. I was told that they have never heard of the company. As a result, I would like my {$920.00} back and this company exposed. Thank you for your support, XXXX XXXX XXXX

On XXXX A lady contacted me regarding consolidating my student loans via telephone and asked to call them back at XXXX. I called them back and informed them I am in the process of consolidating my student loans. The person who identified herself as XXXX XXXX informed me they would assist me in the process and that due to the " laws changing '' that I would need their support. She said she worked for " 77 Elite ''. She asked for my FSA ID and password, got into my account to look up my information regarding my student loans. She sent me an email with my current loan breakdown and told me she could be able to greatly lower my student loan payment and improve my credit score. She said in order for me to be able to consolidate my loans, they would need an upfront fee of {$990.00} for the service as nothing is for free. I told her I could not afford that, so she said I could pay it within 4 months. She asked for my debit card account information and immediately took {$240.00} out of my account. She emailed me documentation and told me to click to say I signed a document so that she could consolidate my loans for me. The documents are not notarized and the name of the company on the forms says " XXXX XXXX. '' I received two emails at the same time which I will upload, one stated they were the " Processing Team '' and the other one said " Processing Team, 77 elite on XXXX. '' I received a call from XXXX on XXXX from a lady asking for my social security number, and she would need it quickly in order to continue the process of my student loans. I received an email on XXXX requesting to sign releases of information to my 3 loan companies ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX ), and requesting either my last two pay stubs or the first two pages of my most recent filed income tax report. I emailed the documents. After researching " loan scams '' I became very scared that this was a scam as there have been many " red flags ''

I received a call form a company called XXXX XXXX their XXXX XXXX 77 Elite about an opportunity for loan forgiveness and claimed to be associated with XXXX. They claimed I would get loan forgiveness through their federal program after paying 20 low payments on my overall loan dept by over {$7000.00}. They asked for my XXXX ID and password as well. They also requested my 2 most recent pay stubs. They required an upfront payment of {$240.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and 3 more payments of {$250.00} in the next 3 months and states I did not need to make payments to my student loan servicer during this time. I also did not send the remaining paperwork to this servicer and somehow they decided to charge my credit card anyways. After doing some research with department of education, I learned that requiring upfront payment for loan servicing before providing the service is illegal. After reading about student loan scams I immediately cancelled payment and called XXXX XXXX to cancel their service. I found out months later than they had consolidated my loans anyways through XXXX XXXX XXXX. I recently was contacted by phone informing me that I would be taken to collections. I later learned that their information was false/fraud and that I did not qualify for the public service loan forgiveness through XXXX I believe this is a fraudulent company and was informed that many of their actions were in fact illegal. Take Note : " After doing some research with department of education, I learned that requiring upfront payment for loan servicing before providing the service is illegal. ''

I called a student loan company that said they would help me stop garnishment of my paycheck for student loans. I was told to make a upfront fee to them. I paid over {$1500.00} to this company as stated in my bank statement it shows XXXX in Florida for the amounts of {$280.00} and there are six payments made to this company. As you can see this company is the same as 77 Elite it is the same address and location. 77 Elite stated I never made any payments and that is a complete lie because as you can see they are in the same address. I think this might be a scam and they just changed names. I have for the past year sent all documents requested but yet this company has not helped stop my garnishment like they said they would. This company has done nothing but constantly say they are working on it and need more documents. How much do you need. They were quick to take my money but have done nothing to help me. They are a scam.

I was having my paycheck garnished for students loans. I contacted a company who told me they can stop the garnishment and lower my payments. The company is 77 Elite in XXXX XXXX Florida. I was asked to make an upfront payment before they can start. I did and it was a large amount they charged me. This occurred over a year ago. I am constantly being asked to fax paperwork then I get it from 77 Elite that it isnt clear for me to fax it again. When I call they give me the run around saying they are handling the situation but nothing. I keep sending the same paperwork over and over. I then get we need new paperwork because the documents they have are 30 days over but why didnt they send the paperwork to my student loan company its their fault. Im tired of sending documents over a year and no answers.
