On XX/XX/2019 I borrowed {$1000.00} from Money Key ( https : //www.moneykey.com/ ). I was approved via an online application, and they sent me the money via my XXXX XXXX bank account. I've heard horror stories about payday loans before, but I had just gone XXXX and wasn't insured and then had an unexpected XXXX XXXX XXXX -- I was in a massive amount of pain as I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the doctor told me it had to be XXXX ASAP but in order for the XXXX to go through I had to pay {$2500.00} upfront since I didn't have insurance. I needed the extra {$1000.00} to pay for the XXXX. If there was a family member I could've borrowed money from, I would have. I needed the money instantly, and so that's why I applied. I had every intention of paying them back. Then a close friend unexpectedly died. Around the same time I switched banks to an online bank I liked better because of its high yield saving account and other features. I just honestly forgot about repaying them. I was barely able to work during this time, I was so depressed. Fast forward to today, Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. I'm out of the country for work. I get a voicemail from a number in XXXX, Texas ( XXXX ) from XXXX XXXX saying that it was a " documented attempt to make contact, in reference to a complaint filed against my name and my social. '' I immediately call back because, again, I had completely forgotten about this loan. I fully admit that that is on me. She is rude from the beginning, bullying me into giving her money. It takes me a while to remember the loan, but when I do I calmly state that I understand I didn't pay it back, but that I would like a written record that Money Key sold the debt to them and that they are indeed that company. How am I supposed to know that they're the company. As I told them, I heard nothing from Money Key about this ( I later found an email from Money Key in my junk folder saying they sold my debt ( but it was only that one email, this is the first phone call ) but the name and number they say they sold it to isn't the same number I got a call from ). I'm on the bus when this is happening and I tell her I can barely hear her. We get disconnected. When I get to my friend 's place, I call back asking to speak to her but a guy named XXXX picks up and he won't transfer me to XXXX ( even though XXXX left me another voicemail and called three times from the same number ). XXXX starts harassing me. He tells me to just calm down, to call my daddy and ask for money. Like, what? Call my daddy? Who does he think I am. I tell him I'm traveling for work and I'd again like an email first. XXXX wouldn't give me one without me paying an amount because she claimed asking for an email was a " stall tactic. '' He is like well if you are traveling for work you therefore have a company expense account and can pay us back. I don't have a company expense account. I'm a book writer. I'm here to visit my XXXX XXXX. I'm nowhere close to rich, haha, most XXXX do not get paid a lot at all. XXXX do get paid an advance but the way it works is say you get {$30000.00} for a book. That {$30000.00} is paid over 2 years in 2-3 payments. So you're really only making about {$15000.00} a year. I'm not rich. I barely have a XXXX in my account. But I did have an expense account at my last job, when I was salaried, and you can't use a company expense account to pay back a loan/personal expenses -- that's illegal. So I'm trying to explain this to him, and I'm finally like listen, I work XXXX I can't pay it all ( about {$1900.00} ) right now, but I get paid a lump sum on XX/XX/XXXX and I can send most of it over then ( but again, I emphasize that I want something mailed or emailed ). He's like we can't wait that long it's been a year. ( It hasn't been a year yet, I got the loan in XXXX. ) But still I get that, so I'm like okay then can we do a payment plan? He pushes for me to pay the full. I'm getting frustrated because I am offering to pay via a monthly payment plan and he's aggressively trying to get me to instead pay the full amount. Finally, I'm like I'm back on XX/XX/XXXX and it'll be easier for me to talk to you then. I'd prefer to handle this when I'm in the United States so that I'm also not getting charged a ton for making international calls because it's clear this is going to be a long conversation ( even though it didn't have to be, why not just email me the record I'm asking for and setup the payment plan ). He says no. I am exhausted by this point and am like okay fine, let 's just setup a payment plan. He starts talking about how I owe {$900.00} in fees and that I should just pay a lump sum instead. I start getting incredibly suspicious now. Like I am actually willing to make a payment, it's not unusual to ask for a written verification detailing what's owed and the payment plan options, and then when I finally agree to just pay via a payment plan, you push for the full amount instead? He's like, why don't you just pay a lump sum instead. I say, I don't feel comfortable making that large of a payment over the phone nor do I have that money right now. Then he again tells me to be quiet and listen and he says I just need to " ask my daddy. '' He says that I took the loan, I have to repay it. I'm like, can you let me talk for a moment. I am trying to repay it. He's yelling at me and cutting me off. He says they're going to talk to the client if I don't handle it with them and then the client ( Money Key, I assume ) has the right to sue me and then I'll have to pay for court fees. I finally hang up because I'm tired of being yelled at. If I were some rich girl who could call her daddy, I would've never taken out the loan. If he wanted the money, if he was really concerned with me paying the debt, why treat me like this? He ( or XXXX ) could've emailed me while we were on the phone the payment plan, and then I could've made a payment. During this phone call he also had me verify my parents numbers and my job, so now I'm worried they're going to start harassing them. So then I call Money Key ( the client ) because I would prefer to handle directly with them. They say that they sold the account and can't handle it anymore. I tell them that these people told me they would call them/the client if they refused to pay. They're like why would they call us, we sold the account. Money Key gives me a XXXX number for the company that they sold the account to. I call that number and can't get through -- it's also not the same number that called me which I find very suspicious. I'm not trying to evade my payment, I understand I shouldn't let Money Key know when I changed accounts ( again, I had just lost a dear friend and wasn't in the right headspace ). But I am trying to fix the issue now. If I didn't want to fix the issue, why would I have called them in the first place? I could've just ignored their calls. Now I have my phone on silent because they've called multiple times, leaving harassing voicemails each time ( I have everything saved ). I just want to pay the original lender, as given all of this, I do not feel comfortable giving them money over the phone when they have given me zero verification that they are who they claim to be.

XXXX XXXX XXXX originally contacted me on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. They had a lady contact me initially to let me know that they are pursuing a case against me # XXXX and that they were a XXXX XXXX Compliance Officer. They stated that they had been trying to reach me in regards to a MoneyKey loan that I had taken out. I didn't recall taking out a loan from this establishment. I requested to have documentation sent to me. They referred me to their legal department at XXXX. They informed me that they are only relaying a message that there is a court case being processed against me. So, I contact the legal department same day at XXXX. I tried to speak with a lady who said her name too fast for me to write down. She began her speech of telling me that they had a court case being processed against me and that they will be pursuing criminal charges of fraud and a few other charges as well. She also stated that they had sent correspondence to my address ( of which scared me as they had all of my personal information ). They said that they had sent me letters on several occasions and that their communications had went ignored. I advised the lady I spoke with over the phone that I was not sure where this debt had came from and asked for written documentation of this debt. She didn't comply with this request and stated that they had already sent my correspondence via regular mail. I have not received this letter or any written documentation regarding this debt let alone any charges being pursued against me. When I stated that I was feeling threatened and that they were really harassing me on this subject, I heard weird scrambling noises and then they proceeded to hang up on me. I contacted the XXXX XXXX Courts and they advised me that the case number they provided was an actual case number anywhere in the state of XXXX All of their case number start with a 2. I contact my attorney who handled my chapter 7 bankruptcy case that was filed late XXXX of XXXX. I asked for advice on how to handle the matter. They tried to reach out on my behalf. But, since I had not given authorization to speak to my attorney, they refused to talk to them. I have not heard any response back on this until today XX/XX/XXXX. This afternoon, I got another call from the XXXX XXXX Compliance Officer from phone number XXXX. They stated that they were processing my court case XXXX. They stated that I was being noncompliant and that my noncompliance is being documented and would forfeit my legal rights. I stated back to them that this was not true. I had requested documentation of the debt and no one was willing to assist me with this information. I advised them that my attorney has been notified of this. Had I known about this debt prior to my chapter 7 bankruptcy, I would have ensured that this was included. It is required to disclose all debts for this bankruptcy. Nothing was being reported to my credit. Nor were there any judgements filed against me stating that I owed this debt. I continued to state that they had been aggressive and when I had asked numerous times on the initial phone call for documentation of this debt, they simply told me that they had already sent this. Which is not true. In addition to this, they contacted one of my colleagues. She called me right after letting me know that they had contacted her stating that they had been trying to reach me and that they had a case # XXXX against me. They provided her with all of that information and my full name. They asked if they could have her contact me back. They contacted her about XXXX XXXX after speaking with me over the phone letting me know I was being noncompliant and that my noncompliance was forfeiting my legal rights. I contacted MoneyKey as well ( XXXX ). They transferred me to their payment solutions department. The gentleman I spoke with confirmed my information and identity. I informed him that my attorney would be contacting them to obtain information pertaining to this debt. But, I also gave them my bankruptcy case # XXXX. I advised them that had I known about this debt at the time of filing for bankruptcy I would have had this settled at that time. The gentleman was very nice, took down the information, and I authorized my attorney to access my account information as needed. He let me know that they had sold my loan to a 3rd party Debt Buyer by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have provided this information to my attorney. I have received a few voicemails from this company. They were threatening me with arrest and taking me to court to file charges of fraud against me along with not having funds available in my account to pay for a loan as agreed. XX/XX/XXXX is the first time I have been aware of this establishment. They have been harassing me, my coworkers and friends, and have been more aggressive in this manner than what is needed. They tried to state that I was being noncompliant and that I have forfeited my legal rights in my last voicemail. I felt very threatened and harassed in this situation. I have tried to request documentation regarding this debt and no documentation has been provided nor have they been willing to provide me that information as I have requested on several occasions. My attorney is being given a signed affidavit showing that they have authorization to speak on my behalf and obtain information pertaining to this debt. But, they still continue to call and harass me.

I had absolutely zero communication of any kind regarding this tradeline or debt. Only yesterday, XXXX did I get a notification from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX that a debt collector reported a delinquency. This was shocking because I don't have any delinquencies. I reviewed my XXXX reports and found XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Never before was any original debtor trying to collect. Never was a letter sent. Never a phone call. Not even an email. The dates and amounts are not disclosed. And XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX will not provide proof of ownership as rightfully due per FDCPA and FCRA rules. Instead, I tried to call - no answer. Their voicemail doesn't work. They are not open XXXX. They have been named litigants ( defendants ) in multiple lawsuits. They are under scrutiny for predatory collection practices, and a unique styling whereby they wait for a consumer to repair/secure a favorable credit score and sustain for several months. Then they drop an unsupported collection to see of the consumer will pay, seemingly under duress. I am currently alleging both civil and criminal fraud based on the general practice and specific knowledge I have. My only means of correspondence was by web contact, where I issued the below today, XXXX : Greetings, This is my first and only demand letter for proof of ownership and information pertaining to the alleged debt your firm has placed as a collections tradeline on my XXXX Credit Report. Under FCRA rules, you must provide details to support your claim and justify my affiliation with the alleged debt and/or delinquency. You have 10 calendar days to respond before I seek all available recourse and remedy against your firm for fraud, solicitation of information under false pretenses, falsification of facts, and willful consumer deception. I have never heard of your company or the tradeline represented. Notwithstanding any alleged suspicions or outcome of purported investigations, it is your burden to demonstrate consumer responsibility. I hereby make this official demand following my unsuccessful attempt to call your offices. If your firm does rescind reports of this derogatory account and issue a blanket, written statement absolving my alleged liability and conceding error, I will escalate to evaluate both actual and punitive remedies for reputational harm, opportunity cost, recovery of time invested, and failure to mitigate. If you choose to bring suit, which I encourage, do advise of dates of service and jurisdictional setting. I wish to be present at all hearings. By simply disregarding several identifiable procedural steps as set forth by governing jurisdictional bodies over Credit matters such as the FDCPA, FCRA, CFPB, standards under XXXX, IRS Tax and Lien Code, and Interstate Commerce Code, your firm has made critical errors, if not willful attempts to harm, from the outset. XXXX XXXX XXXX neglected any effort to contact me prior to, or during this collection. Likewise with your client or former tradeline holder. I've not heard of them or from them, ever. Lastly and in absence of evidence suggesting any legitimacy, I am asserting that your firm has acted criminally in violation of local, state, and federal fraud statutes. XXXX XXXX XXXX has made apparent by their business model and practices that personal gain or unjust enrichment is the outcome of this fraud if not combated. I intend to refer your company to the US Attorney for the XXXX XXXX and the Dept. Of Justice for a more thorough investigation. It is not acceptable, unlawful, or ethically sound to defraud and cause harm to consumers for monetary gain. I await prompt, thorough, diligent, courteous, and truthful responses from XXXX XXXX XXXX. If you extra time, do advise within 48 hours. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

And now my life is gon na be ruined. I'm a single father to my XXXX old son and XXXX old daughter and now we're probably going to be evicted. I can't believe this. Please help me get these guys.

I received a voicemail from " XXXX '' from XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX stating they needed a call back about paperwork with my name and social security number for an investigation they are conducting. The message went on to say that they needed to hear from me by the end of the day so they can notate my cooperation. I called them back and the first phone call I placed - no one came to the phone but sat in the background saying " they aren't going to put up with this XXXX. '' I hung up and called back and spoke with a representative who told me the debt they are collecting for is from Money Key and they will move forward with litigation ( not verbatim ) and stated, " you can't just take out a loan and not pay it back '' when I told him I've never had a loan from Money Key. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor " XXXX XXXX '' gets on the phone and when I asked for validation of the debt - he said it originated in XXXX and called Money Key on conference call. Money Key refused to verify any information and the supervisor didn't even attempt to identify himself as a 3rd party as he did with me. Once Money Key, I asked why the debt wasn't on my credit report and he said because they haven't moved forward with legal action yet. I asked why Money Key wouldn't have reported it delinquent. He stated I would have to take that up with Money Key. I called Money Key on my own and they confirmed by my social security number that they have never issued a loan to me and do not have any products or agencies in Virginia ( where I reside ). I called XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX back and requested they remove my work phone number from their records and the representative responded stating he would document my refusal to pay and hung up on me. I called back and " XXXX XXXX '' was back on the line but did not identify himself by first and last name ... it was just the same voice as the previous call. I asked if my number had been marked as no calls at work and he stated " No '' and proceeded to tell me I should be ashamed of myself for borrowing money and not paying it back. I used unsavory language and terminated the call. I immediately received a return phone call ( on the work phone that I requested NOT to be called ) from " XXXX XXXX '' or his voice at least - from a restricted number and he proceeded to tell me he would be delivering a court summons to my JOB and my house and they intend to move forward with their lawsuit. I may have responded but I can't recall. I terminated the call.

XX/XX/2019, I had taken a Payday loan from Money Key. I am NOT disputing Money Key, I am disputing a company that told me that they purchased the debt. The company is called XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and I was told they are based in XXXX. I along with 2 of my friends received a call from an unknown number stating that if I didn't call XXXX that someone would be at my home or work place in 48 hours. I did not call back, so they called again the next day. My friend answered her call, and spoke with XXXX XXXX who called from an unknown number and told her that if I didn't call back they would be be at my home or work place in 24 hours. So I called back. I spoke with XXXX XXXX that had all of my information from Money Key. He had 2 recommendations for m. The first was that I could refuse to apply and they would proceed with legal action and I would be charged court fees and interest on top of the original debt or I could make a voluntary agreement with them to pay monthly installments on the debt but I would have to pay with debt card, credit card, prepaid card, but I could not mail the payments. I agreed and gave them my credit card. He then transferred to a lady. I didn't get her name, but she was to confirm everything. I asked what was the name of the company and she stated that I spoke with XXXX from XXXX but she was from XXXX XXXX which is explained to be a third party billing company. She stated that they would send me an email for me to sign to confirm. When I received the email, it did not look right to me. No address and the grammar was off. So I called the number I called early that evening and it went to voice and said that I reached a XXXX area code phone number which is in XXXX, WI. So I XXXX both companies and can't find a website or address. I XXXX the phone numbers and could find nothing. I called XXXX XXXX back at XXXX, the next morning, and they stated that they are based in XXXX, and they not have a building with an address for me to send my payments to. He then stated for me to follow the chain of title. That this was a pre litigation collection. So I stated to him that I would like for him to mail me everything. He got defensive and stated that he was removing my credit card information and take this to litigation, so I told him I would see him in court. I have attached the agreement that was sent to me.

Someone called me from XXXX XXXX, saying that he was calling about a lawsuit from Money Key and that I was going to be served for the debt owed. He said that I refused to pay the money owed to Money Key, roughly {$800.00}. He asked, is that correct? I said absolutely not. I told him that I've been working very diligently to repay my debts over the last several years. I was recently diagnosed with XXXX and XXXX, after diagnosed with XXXX in XXXX. I had gotten into so many payday loans when I had XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, I had worked on settling this debt. I had thought I'd settled this debt previously. He asked if I could resolve the debt in 2 payments in 30 days. I told him no, I still owed on my rent. He said he could get it taken care of for me as a financial hardship arrangement on four payments every two weeks at {$180.00} each payment, with a {$5.00} processing fee per transaction. We set up the payments for XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, & XX/XX/XXXX. He insisted I use a XXXX or XXXX number, not ACH. I was unaware at the time that this was a huge red flag. I gave them my debit card number, but did not sign any paperwork. Later, I found out my SSN was compromised back in XXXX of this year. I contacted CFPB who suggested I request my credit reports, review to see if the debt exists, if not, contact my bank to stop payment with them, then place security freezes on my credit reports. I also tried to search the company, and could not find any information on XXXX XXXX. When I called to get the amount of the transaction, I called XXXX and left a voicemail. No one ever returned my phone call. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with XXXX XXXX. He called me on XX/XX/XXXX from phone number XXXX, when the transaction did not go through. I asked for a validation of debt. He said I received the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I looked through my emails to the address he said and could not find anything. He said he would resend. He actually sent the information to a totally different email address that he did not confirm with me. He called me again and I requested a validation of debt. He said they are not a debt collector. I told him if Money Key would like to send me a validation of debt, I'll be glad to resolve.

On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX called my last employer, XXXX and told the GM I was going to be charged with electronic check fraud and they would be there to serve me immediately if I didnt pay in full. They left the number XXXX and case number XXXX. They represented themselves as a law office and provided a number as well as a case number. When I called the number they told me a debt had been turned over to them by MoneyKey and the state would be prosecuting me for fraud as well as their attorney would be suing me. They repeatedly told me I would be prosecuted and held accountable for the fraud I committed. When I asked for names and addresses they refused to provide me with additional information. I requested proof of the debt and the threats they were making or anything in writing to help eradicate the matter and was told there was nothing that could be done but pay in full. They made multiple threats to attach additional fees if I didnt pay in full immediately that same day XX/XX/XXXX. They have since then called multiple people telling them this. I havent committed any fraud I repeatedly asked for proof and to be sent of what they were saying and was told I couldnt be helped. Luckily, my last employer records all calls so I can get recordings of the call if need be. This company is violating FDCPA rules and regulations and multiple complaints have been filed against them with the XXXX. Businesses like this shouldnt be allowed to operate without penalty. I cant undue the lies they keep telling my ex coworkers and different family members they have called. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling. They refuse just as I refuse to pay a debt Im not responsible for. On XX/XX/XXXX I finally found out the name of the actual company who had been calling making the threats. MoneyKey sent an email stating my debt had been sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. This company repeatedly denies that it is them making the threats by saying its another company but no other company would have the data to quote the loan amount that remained. Not to mention the threats began not even a week after the debt was sold. This is illegal and something has to be done.

I have a payday loan with Moneykey that was obtained online several months ago. Due to an IRS tax obligation, I had to revoke the ACH authorization privileges on my account and begin making manual payments over the phone with a representative. Due to the fact that Moneykey was not able to receive twice-monthly payments from my checking account, they eventually converted my account to an in-house collection and attempted to set up payment arrangements with me for same. I have ALWAYS stayed in contact with Moneykey and have CONTINUED to make payments towards my account when funds are available to me, however they will not work with you on a payment plan that makes financial sense to their customers. I have informed them numerous times ( on recorded phone lines ) that I intend to pay this debt and will call them every couple of weeks in order to keep the lines of communication open and have EVERY SINGLE COMMUNICATION written down and accounted for in order to ensure they are not attempting to blur federal lines with their collection tactics. In the past, they have contacted my son and forcefully asked him to TEXT ME to call them, they have called my place of employment even though I had spoken to them earlier in the day. All of the collection tactics are harassing and highly unnecessary when I keep in CONSTANT contact with them. When they e-mail me, I immediately respond and have a record of every single e-mail communication in a special folder due to the fact that I can not trust them. This morning, they contacted a reference on my application and left a voicemail on her answering machine asking her to get in contact with me to call them. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND UNNECESSARY when I have never disappeared from their radar and continue to communicate with them AND PAY MONEY towards this debt. Moneykey needs to cease and desist from contacting my employer, my office, and my references immediately. As a matter of fact, I made a payment to to them 6 DAYS AGO on XX/XX/2020. Why do they need to harass my references when I just recently made a payment?? Please assist me in making this harassment stop. Thank you.

I borrowed {$800.00} and have repaid $ XXXX yet this company claims I owe more than {$800.00} still. This is predatory lending. This is obscene!!! They arent even located in the United States, they are in XXXX! I already filed complaints and this company 's response was that I am to STILL repay {$800.00}. Ridiculous! The resolution presented is : " PROPOSED RESOLUTION We understand that you are not completely satisfied with your Line of Credit. As a one-time courtesy, we would like to propose the following resolution : The outstanding balance on your account will be frozen in the amount of {$800.00}, the amount due as of your last statement date of XX/XX/2019. This means that no further fees or interest will be charged on a go-forward basis from this statement date ; The outstanding balance noted above will be divided into 5 installments of {$130.00} and a final 6th installment of {$120.00}, which will be payable on your scheduled pay dates ; and Once all installments are paid, your account will be closed as Paid in Full. '' MoneyKey is offering zero resolution in this matter. I have repaid the {$800.00} borrowed PLUS {$140.00} in fees. Based the original agreement, MoneyKey expects {$800.00} to pay off the loan meaning MoneyKey would collect {$940.00} in fees XXXX 118 % )!!! I would repay {$1700.00}!!! This is OUTRAGEOUS! MoneyKey 's proposal solves nothing. MoneyKey still expects me to pay an additional {$800.00} for a total of {$1700.00} for {$800.00} borrored. Again this is predatory, unethical lending!!! And to add to it, MoneyKey wants to sent payments at a rate HIGHER than my loan agreement. 25 % interest in a fair interest amount. 25 % of {$800.00} is {$200.00}. I have paid {$140.00} of that. I will pay an additional {$55.00} payable by check to MoneyKey to be paid by XXXX XXXX. My account will then be marked CLOSED/PAID IN FULL/IN GOOD STANDING MoneyKey has received its {$800.00} plus additional profits from me. I will AGAIN report this as MoneyKey as provided no resolution. MoneyKey is simply restructuring how it still gets the obscene amount of an additional {$800.00} from me.

Received call from company of whose name I did not notice at XXXXCST on XX/XX/2020. Individual called from a XXXX. Identified himself as Mr. XXXX from the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. Reported that he needed my statement of defense regarding a civil complaint filed against me immediately. Received a second call a few minutes later. Mr. XXXX reported that he was unable to take the statement or give me information. Placed me on hold to speak with a Ms. XXXX. I disconnected the call to answer another incoming call after being on hold too long. Received another call from same number. Individual was a female identifying herself as Ms. XXXX. Reported need for me to provide a statement of defense for civil complaint from her client. Client was later identified as Moneykey with balance owed of XXXX. Ms. XXXX stated Moneykey had sent several collection notices that were returned by the post office. Ms. XXXX reported I needed to settle issue today or she would further advise her client, Moneykey, to pursue a judgement within my county. I requested The documentation that Ms. XXXX have be sent to me for verification purposes. She informed me that she could not do so even after confirming my email address with her. Ms. XXXX demanded that I provide a settlement amount request or she would advise client to pursue judgement in civil court. I offered Ms. XXXX a number and disconnected the call after a prolonged hold period. Ms. XXXX later continued to contact my phone with an estimated six calls in a two minute timespan. On the last call at XXXX, Ms. XXXX threatened me once again stating i had thirty minutes to return her call or she would encourage her client to pursue a judgement. Her approach has been harassing and threatening in nature and she discussed I could Only communicate with the client through her, not directly. The inability of her to provide sufficient documentation surrounding this complaint was extremely concerning as when I attempted To look up her agencies contact information, nothing was located regarding XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Around XX/XX/2019, I applied for a loan and was approved for XXXX. I then called, as the email that I received advised me to do, to speak with a representative to ask questions about the loan. He reassured me that I could pay the loan off early or making a large payment before the first initial payment is due would help with the minimum payment amount going forward. I accepted the loan. I then gave XXXX another call ( another name they are known as is XXXX XXXX ) on XX/XX/2019 due to the payment being due on the XXXX to see how much I would have to have paid on the due date ( XXXX ) and to discuss options with paying them back. I set up a XXXX dollar payment to come out on the due date. the rep advised me by the end of the call that it would be beneficial to pay the loan off by the due date. I said ok, let me see what I can do. I advised the rep to leave the payment set up on the account. I then called back on the XXXX to make the payment in full ( the remaining balance which is due on the XXXX!! ) and was told by the representative to wait until tomorrow ( which would be the XXXX ) to make the remaining payment. I call on the XXXX and they are now telling me that I have to make a payment in the amount of XXXX dollars!!! I explained to them what was due on the due date and they tried to explain to me that the payment that was made was a payment towards the principal. I escalated the problem to a supervisor! She called me the next day and tried to explain to me that they could offer me a deal to pay the balance in full with a payment of XXXX dollars!!!! This is terrible. I wanted to pay my loan in FULL on the actual date when it was due and Im being charged an additional XXXX dollars to do so!!!! Had I been told that any payment made on the account would only count as a payment and not to help me pay my balance in full I would of simply waited!!! That makes no sense! Im disappointed that this is happening. I hope people choose not to work with this company at ALL!!!

On XX/XX/XXXX, my daughter took out what we both thought was a small payday loan for {$500.00}. We agreed to the repayment of a {$800.00} with this expectation of the loan repayment of the {$300.00} in accrual. To date we are still repaying this loan having paid it back 3 times over and it is now XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX states that there is still a total amount due of over {$500.00} and the unbeknownst to either of us only 5 % goes toward the outstanding principal with a current interest of over {$6.00}. XXXX XXXX is deducting payments for said payday loan biweekly and the closer we get to paying off this loan the less money they deduct in order to continue making money off of us. We can not get rid of this loan!. My daughter is a struggling young single mother of XXXX who works hard, is in school and does not make a lot of money. At this time she is in financial dyer straights and can no longer continue to pay XXXX XXXX on this ridiculous loan. She has been compliant in paying XXXX XXXX back and on time. We would like this to stop! The amounts they deduct from her checking account are never in a set amount as they spike up and down. It is almost as though they just choose a number of dollars and take it from her in repayment. She appreciated the help and has been very grateful, respectful and kind. I as a mother want them to stop taking advantage of my child. Please help her/us, and I say us because when she hurts, I hurt for her and I too help her keep these people off her and I do not make a great deal of money myself. It's a shame that when you are an honest person you have those that manipulate on those that need it. Yes we knew we would have high interest but not one that would continue to keep her bonded financially

I received a call in the middle of the work day yesterday from a " Process Server '' representing XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX as I was told on the phone. I received a call from XXXX XXXX, and I explained to her that I couldn't talk to her at the moment because I was in the middle of a XXXX meeting for work. I asked her to call back at a later time. She then proceeded to repeatedly dial my number three more times. After this she called my teenage daughter while she was at school. My daughter called me hysterical saying that a lady said that I was being sued and proceeded to give her all of my personal information, name, date of birth, and social security number. She told my daughter that I would be arrested. She then contacted my estranged husband, and told him the same thing. I got a call from him a few minutes after my daughter. They both took down the phone number I was to call, XXXX. I called the number and spoke to XXXX at XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX ( she gave me both names ) and explained to her what happened. This morning I received another call from XXXX XXXX from the number XXXX. I answered the call and asked Ms. XXXX who she works for. She advised that she works for the " government '' for the state of Texas. I asked her to confirm the above number and she said " if that's what came up that's the government number, but it doesn't take inbound phone calls ''. I asked her to confirm that she was a " Process Server '' and that she did contact my daughter and husband and give them person private protected information. She confirmed. I explained to her that I would be reporting this incident and then hung up. She proceeded to call my cell phone three more times after this encounter.

To start with, the original creditor was never up front and was very confusing about their fees they were charging me. I would pay a fee and towards the balance but then they would just keep rolling it over every month. I was n't making progress and got under water. After a few months ( and had actually paid off the balance but for the fees it still was n't paid off ) which surprised me. The amount in collection does n't even represent the proper amount of payments that were made. They ended up sending me to an outside collection agency but never told me that they were. I never received any Debt Validation letters, nothing showing who actually owned what until it showed up on my credit report under XXXX XXXX. The problem with this, is XXXX, along with several other debt buyers have been calling me relentlessly for at least 8 months if not longer. They say that I am going to jail if I do not pay my debt, that someone is coming to my house! They say someone is going to the local court house, etc., it never ends. Sometimes it is a live person, sometimes it is a robocall. Their harassment does n't end with me. Some how they managed to find the phone numbers to my mother, both of her sisters ( my aunts ), my brother and my father. They then continued to harass them about me, yelling at them telling them I would be arrested if I did not pay my debt gave random names/case numbers. That is a violation of the Consumer Protection laws. No collection agency is allowed to give out personal information to a third party, or harass anyone. I am a XXXX individual and this has caused an excessive amount of stress and financial strain.

I received a phone call on my work phone on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX, from a guy whom never stated his name. It caught me by surprise because he addressed me by first and last name, he state that he was hired by a company to investigate and track me down for a debt that I owe and if I did not pay this debt within 48 hrs he was going to come to my job and serve me papers to have my wages garnished. I asked whom was the company that hired him he stated he did not know that information but if I wanted to contact them I could call them and settle the debt, so that he would not have to serve me at work. I wrote the information down and contacted the number he provided me, I provided the woman with the case number and she told me that I owed {$530.00} ( to XXXX ) with a {$6.00} processing fee. If I did not pay that amount immediately they were going to garnish my wages for triple that amount. Which made me fearful, I promptly made the payment so that he wouldn't come to my job and have my wages garnished. My bank wouldn't allow a debt transaction over {$500.00} in one day so the payment would have to be broken into 2 payments. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid {$490.00} plus {$6.00} processing fee, the women emailed me an receipt. The next day XX/XX/XXXX the second payment for {$49.00} plus {$6.00} processing fee was made but I never received a receipt or paid in full letter as the women said she would email to me. On XX/XX/XXXX I tried to contact that same number to have them send my paid in full letter the phone number no longer workers. I've called the phone number on the invoice/XXXX and left a voice mail and have not gotten a response.

Obtained Loan for {$1000.00}, I paid each payday, and came to a point of having issues paying due to the frequency/interest accrued. They froze the interest from that point on I paid {$90.00} each pay day day/ bi-weekly, {$180.00} per month. And if additional pay day I paid another {$90.00}. I continued to pay as agreed and watched the website balance go down per each month. Balance finally reflected on the website I was Paid In Full. Website reflected {$0.00} balance. This company now wants to continue to pull another {$270.00}. from my bank account after showing on their own website {$0.00} balance. I told them to send me something to substantiate their claim. I have asked numerous times for an accurate account. At this time they have not provided an accurate disclosure but sent me to collections instead. I have told them for the past few months - provide me the proof I owe you more money but they do not. They have my correct email address and correct address. Still no disclosure of proof, but their website reflected {$0.00} balance. I think its fraudulent to send me to collections if their website reflected one thing and they cant seem to show me proof I owe them any more money? If their own site reflected {$0.00} balance they should honor that. You cant claim there is something wrong with your website and expect people to just buy into it bc you say so. Show me the proof a complete and clear reconciliation to substantiate your claim. Due to their own lack of honesty I refuse to pay them unless they can substantiate it.

On XX/XX/XXXX A lady by the name of XXXX XXXX at XXXX and XXXX XXXX aka XXXX XXXX contacted me stating that they were taking me to court if I didn't pay the debt that I owed from Moneykey. I have been trying to fix my credit so I went ahead and paid {$430.00} to settle the debt because I didn't want it to hit my credit. She sent me a letter of satisfaction of the debt and stated that they will not pursue any other action. Then on XX/XX/XXXX I get a call from XXXX XXXX stating that they are going to be serving me with a lawsuit that day if I didn't pay the debt that I owed for Moneykey. I forgot that I had already paid them and not wanting it to hit my credit I set up a payment arrangement and paid {$250.00}. Later that day I finally realized that I had already settled and paid the debt with them in XXXX. I called the next morning to get it resolved and get refunded and they were extremely rude stated that I have XXXX accounts for Moneykey and that I owed them. I called Moneykey and was advised that I only had XXXX account and NEVER had XXXX accounts with them. I have disputed this XXXX account that's on all 3 credit Bureau 's that says I owe XXXX, it came back that it is my account by the consumer. So I called the collection agency and I have the call recorded which I told them I was a recording so I wasn't doing anything wrong. First I was hung up on 2 times because the people couldn't find my account through my name or social security number. I was so upset that my fianc called back and spoke with them. To which again they said we can't find her account there is nothing listed for her. He and I both said then you need to take this off her credit reports, you can even find the account. to which their response was to hang up a third time. I called XXXX and was on the phone for 3 hours trying to get this removed off my credit report and they said dispute it again, which I did and the company cam back saying the account was valid. I asked XXXX where was this opened at? They said in XXXX, I have never lived and XXXX and followed up with how is it that I opened an account with XXXX which since has been removed off my report in XXXX XXXX then 2 months later open another account with XXXX in XXXXXXXX. It shows all over my credit bureaus that I'm a victim of identity theft. I just found out yesterday that this person filed tax returns in my name which I will be filing a police report. But this company needs to remove this off. my credit bureaus. Ive done everything I can and I'm getting no where. It's XXXX XXXX. XXXX

The loan company Money Key Loans called me on XX/XX/2020 saying we saw you had a inquiry to get a loan and we are willing to provide so we will go forth and process your loan their phone number is XXXX. They asked me for and I gave them My bank account number and my Social Security number along with my bank account login information Then once they figured out it was my account they wanted to start a security process of putting the amount of {$700.00} into my account and then use two gift cards to give it back to them and they did this twice On the next day the second time was in the amount of XXXX and that was for what they said was to fix my credit score so the loan company itself would approve of the loan since at the time I did not have good credit. A couple of days went by and then I noticed that my bank account was overdrawn by {$2500.00} I then called my XXXX XXXX about that and they said two amounts of {$900.00} and {$730.00} were waiting to be processed to be put back into my account then my balance read {$1400.00} on XX/XX/2020 I tried to close that account and open a new one but the bank rejected it and cancelled all my accounts My account however is as also attached to my Mothers accounts and then the bank then took my mothers available funds and her payroll in the total amount of {$1000.00} on XX/XX/2020.

I stated that this was a one time offer, and I was not in the mood for Debt Collector games ( this money was coming out of my social security check ). Ms. XXXX stated that she would check with the original creditor to get ok. She then call me back about a week later and indicated the original creditor denied my offer. ( Game number one ) 6. On XXXX XXXX I mailed letter requesting original documents verifying the amount owed etc. ( see enclosed letter. ) 7. The attached documents show I paid a total of {$580.00} to Money Key. This proves the original amount borrowed was paid, if they are now claiming interest etc. I need to see the original documents signed by me authorizing such an amount.

I have contacted this company on 3 separate occasions attempting to get a validation on an inaccurate account they continually furnish. My letters have been unanswered. I filed a complaint with the XXXX requesting this company provide me with a contract or documentation bearing my signature specifying the terms and conditions of this account. Despite my very specific and yet legal request this company has refused to provide any information. In response to my previous request a representative from XXXX XXXX stated their only obligation is to identify the original creditor, the date opened, and the current balance. Clearly they are idiots to put it nicely! If you think that as consumer any company or collection agency can just say you owe without and proof is merely ridiculous. By the XXXX XXXX a documentation must be provided. You as a company can NOT just say you owe and that it it, do you know how much fraudulent activity would occur if this was the case. I am seeking assistance in someone educating and inform this company of the law. I was told hat the loan had been recalled from collections XXXX not sure what that mean ) I think that was an attempt to misled me. I was also told that debt validation was " on its way ' however I still have n't received anything

I spoke with a representative at Money Key advising them I'm revoking any and all ACH authorizations starting with the next payment date of XX/XX/2019. On XX/XX/2019, my account received an ACH debit from Money Key in the amount of the payment. I called and spoke to another representative who listened to the recorded call I previously made and said it sounded like I only wanted to revoke authorization for the payment on XX/XX/XXXX, I told her no that isn't correct I called to revoke any and all ACH authorizations. She then said she made sure to take care of that going forward and would speak to a Supervisor. The representative spoke with her supervisor and got approval for a refund and said that it would be refunded to my account on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX ( due to the holiday on Monday ) On Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX I received the refund to my account. Subsequently Money Key took out another payment via ACH on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to another representative on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX who apologized and reassured me I would have the refund back to my account no later than Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX and I still have yet to receive the refund. I spoke to someone again who said I should see the refund no later than Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX now.

Thus far I have paid XXXX in fees and XXXX in interest with a payoff of over XXXX dollars. I borrowed a total of XXXX on a XXXX loan. only XXXX % of my payments are going towards my payoff-the remaining monies are being applied to Fees and interest. WIth what I have already paid, plus the XXXX ( payoff balance ), my total payoff will be approximately XXXX. However, If I do not pay the payoff and just keep making the bi-weekly payments, It will take me at least two years ( and several thousands of dollars ) to be anywhere close to paying this off. After looking over my statements and seeing how there was no dent being made in my balance, I started doing some research and found out that many of these companies are not licensed to provide loans in some states. After calling the DLLR for the state of Maryland today, i was told that Moneykey is one of those said companies that should not be providing loans in this state. I was advised to file a complaint and close my bank account. Good Afternoon, This complaint involves MoneyKey of whom I contacted to obtain a line of credit for $ XXXXoriginal amount borrowed. The processing of the line of credit was done over the phone with documents sent for my signature. I have never received the paperwork signed as one of their representatives quickly went through it. I take full responsibility for signing, however, I asked questions about fees since this is not my first line of credit obtained. I was told there is an initiation withdrawal, service fees, interest. However, after paying over {$700.00} and still having a balance of over {$1000.00}, I became concerned with the balance and contact the company. The following is what I was told by MoneyKey and their representatives. Emails with this information can be sent : - Copies of the original load application would be sent - Interest applies on the outstanding amount - There is {$15.00} charge for each {$100.00} remaining outstanding along with interest and other fees - My loan application process via telephone would be reviewed by management and I would get a phone call back. I never received a phone call or email as a follow-up to date.

I took out an installment loan with MoneyKey. Due to a loss of income I got behind on the loan. I am unsure if MoneyKey is even an authorized lender in the state of Alabama due to their enormous interest rates and unfavorable terms. Today, XXXX, my sister, daughter-in-law, mother, grandmother, and my daughter-in-law 's brother called me to tell me they had been called by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida XXXX XXXX Number XXXX regarding my whereabouts. Moreover, the collection agency told my daughter-in-law 's brother that I would need a lawyer regarding the debt that was owed. Moreover, my grandmother was told she should lend me the money to pay the debt. My grandmother is XXXX as well as my mom and they are very upset about the calls that they received today. Additionally, discussing my debt with my daughter-in-law 's brother is a true violation of the debt collection law. My mother, sister, and daughter-in-law were called two times today XX/XX/2023. I called moneykey on XX/XX/XXXX to tell them that my job closed my store due to the virus and I have no income coming in at the moment. I wanted to set up a payment plan for when I get income coming back in. The guy on the phone told me " I suggest you apply for unemployment so that way you can pay us back. That is the option most people are taking to get our money back. '' Then I told him I wanted to revoke the authorization for ACH because my bank account is now negative $ XXXX due to this. He told me he turned that off for me. Now, on XX/XX/XXXX I am getting automated voicemails from them for me to call and also a email saying that a payment did not go through. I checked that bank account and again they tried and I have more overdraft fees. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX to ask why they tried to push a payment through after I revoked permission for them to do that last week and we set up a payment plan when I got income coming back in. They lady on the phone acted like she couldn't hear me after I finished my question. I kept repeating myself over and over and still same response " I can not hear you can you repeat that again. ''

The state of Maryland has never authorized payday loans. Money Key is in violation of Usury Laws in Maryland and because of this violation I Am not obligated to pay Money Key. Money Key has harassed me constantly since the day the illegal payday loan account was opened. Money Key is threatening to sue me in civil court in regards to an illegal payday loan. I 've paid {$110.00} in fees/interest. Also Money Key has a regular finance charge fee on my statement and then " other charges/fees '' is also listed on my statement. Money Key does not explain what " other charges/fees '' means or where it comes from. I was charged {$30.00} for each {$100.00} of your average daily principal balance and also {$15.00} for each {$100.00} of my average daily principal balance. Money Key tries to illegall lend out money and hide under the guise that they are a " Line of credit '' but it clearly states on their website " Payday Loans ''. When you search for Payday Loans, Money Key is the first to come up on search engines. I have tried to negotiate payments with Money Key but now they are threatening to sue me for triple the amount that I owe them.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notice of an update on my XXXX credit report of a new collection account in the amount of {$1300.00}. The collection agency was listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with no indication of the original creditor. I immediately called the creditor and was only provided the option to leave a voicemail with no indication of when a return call would be made. This morning, after an additional review of my XXXX and XXXX reports, it was associated with Money Key. I attempted to contact Money Key from contact information on their website and was I was on hold awaiting a response and then the line disconnected no fewer than three times. I was able to get into an account that I did not recall setting up under my email address and found that a loan was taken out in the amount of {$870.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. The account showed a record of cleared payments totalling {$1000.00} ( well over the amount that was funded ). Additionally, there showed a record of 4 cancelled payments in the amount of {$1000.00}, nearly the same as the amount originally showing cleared. This account should be showing as paid.

My son received a phone call from a company Ive never heard of " XXXX ''. These folks told me that they were a proceedings office and that they were taking me to court for an online payday loan that was taken out two years ago. They had a very old address for me and a very old bank account for me on file. I have never taken a payday loan from MoneyKey and the bank account that they gave me was a credit card account that I haven't had for many years so the funds could not have been provided to me through that account. The contacts name from " XXXX '' was XXXX XXXX Ph XXXX Ext XXXX Case ref : XXXX. I also looked up XXXX with XXXX on the phone and they have no website or any trace of their business. XXXX also let me know that she could not send me further written details. I think her expectation is that I pay the outstanding amount right there and then without any clue as to what any of this was about. I believe that this is a fraudulent transaction made in my name by someone else or being made up by this mysterious XXXX proceedings company.

Hello, My name is XXXX and here is what happened. While searching for an installment loan online, I was able to find this loan matching service. I applied and was pre-approved for a line of credit from Money-Key. Once I called them and agreed to the terms, I was approved and recieved the money on XXXX/XXXX/2015 according to my bank statement. As we agreed, they started the payback process on XXXX/XXXX/15. The first transaction was XXXX. The next was taken out on XXXX/XXXX/15 in the amount of XXXX. It would withdraw money every two weeks. I noticed that on XXXX/XXXX/15 the name on my statement changed from MoneyKey to MKey-virginia. And I checked my moneykey account on XXXX/XXXX/15, and they still show that I owe XXXX and were planning on withdrawing from my account on the XXXX. I have added up the total amount they withdrew since XXXX/XXXX/15 and the total amount was XXXX. That is well enough to cover the XXXX. I called and asked about my loan, and they said that I have not paid off my balance at all.

I have received between 5 and 10 calls, every single day for months. I have asked that they stop calling my cell phone, since they are calling so much and the calls just increased. Some of the calls, when answered, just sit quietly and hang up after a minute or so, others they answer the phone screaming and then when you tell them you don't appreciate being called 10 times a day they tell you to " get over it. '' They also call from a different, but similar, number every single time, so trying to block the numbers won't work either. Tonight, I stated that I was going to report them and the woman laughed at me and said " like the government would take the side of someone who owes money over the ones putting money in their pockets. '' I understand I owe a debt, I have lost my job, I have properly communicated this information with XXXX XXXX per my signed agreement, yet they are literally harassing me all day and night, every single day and night.

I am writing to formally dispute a Payday loan collection entry that appears on my credit report, specifically related to an account attributed to MoneyKey. I am not familiar with this debt, and I have never taken out a loan from MoneyKey. To the best of my knowledge, this entry is inaccurate, and I request its immediate removal from my credit report. Upon reviewing my credit report, I observed an entry from a collections agency indicating a Payday loan debt with MoneyKey. The reported amount and the alleged occurrence date are from the year 2021. However, I have not received any documentation or notice from MoneyKey regarding this loan. The lack of communication from the alleged original lender is concerning, as I have not been given the opportunity to address or verify the legitimacy of this debt. I have taken all necessary precautions to safeguard my personal information, and the appearance of this debt is both unexpected and unwarranted.

I also contacted my creditors about the fraud committed against me and would no longer be able to pay my debts. Currently the phone calls have not stopped. I received anywhere from 15-20 calls a day and also they leave voicemails. I have explained to them over the phone I do not have money left over after my expenses are paid off. I am reaching out to you concerning the debt collectors practices. I am currently working with a financial counselor assisting me in getting my finances in order, however it is taking me some time to get back on my feet.

On XX/XX/2019 I took out what I thought was a payday loan for {$520.00}. It turned out it was a line of credit in which this company expected me to pay {$66.00} bi weekly. Only {$20.00} of the {$130.00} would be applied to the principle balance which is Insane!!. This company has caused overdrafts to my bank account and financial stress. It is wrong for companies of this kind to take advantage of individuals who are experiencing financial hardships and add more financial crisis on customers. This company is a complete RIP Off!!. I spoke to them and they showed no empathy at all. They are harrassing me at home and even calling my work place. I fear of losing my job, due to the harrassing calls. On or about Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, a guy claiming to be from a company called XXXX threatened legal action against me if I did not pay a past due amount. Out of fear, I paid {$50.00} immediately and agreed to {$150.00} payments for the next 4 weeks even though I can't really afford that at this time. They have my debit card numbers and will withdraw the money on certain dates. I am concerned about the legality of this. My mother was advised of a case number against me - and my mom was told I had a debt and was threatened by a XXXX XXXX that papers would be served to my place of employment that day. I called back on XX/XX/21 to the number given - XXXX. I was told that this was the number to call back. This was not XXXX XXXX nor the company he claimed to be calling for, it was XXXX XXXX XXXX for a debt that had been sold twice. I was told that they are a mediation company that tries to reason with the person before it goes to litigation. I agreed to the terms but I am now concerned that this is a scam.

On XX/XX/XXXX I emailed Money Key 's Customer Service Dept asking them to stop the upcoming ACH debit and future debits from my account. I told them this account was closing and that I would make alternate payment methods on this account. I emailed their Cust Serv again on XX/XX/XXXX specifically asking someone to acknowledge receipt of either of my two emails. I specifically stated that any prior ACH authorization that was given, was now rescinded and that they are not allowed to acess my account in any form without my permission. The 1st email was done within 72 hours as is typical time to react. They have intentionally avoided contact in the past. I want ( I NEED ) them to re-credit my account asap!

I was unable to make the demanded high payment right at the time, and the company identified themselves as summers process servers. The man said if I could not pay, I would be in jail in four days for wire fraud and hung up. They claimed the process servers were located in my county, but after doing research, I found no such company. He said that by ending my ACH authorization, I had committed wire fraud because my bank account was collateral. The number was from XXXX, Tx and the man was very pushy, rude, and very threatening, almost laughing. The number was XXXX.

They proceeded to put me on a payment plan that is above my means currently but I agreed so they would not continue to harass me or my family.
